What does awakening mean to you?

Because the title I put is awakening the fearless warrior inside the heart.

What does awakening mean?

And you don't even need to put it in the chat if you don't want I think it's quite fun when a lot of people are just putting their Their thoughts in the chat,

But even if you're not just feel into what does awakening feel like to you?

It's a very popular word these days And I even use it on my profile.

I put awaken so have a think have a think what awakening means to you and The reason I do this reason I'm asking you this is because I'm fascinated by language with our use of words People that know me well Will say that I slow down before I say things Because I'm being really sharp with the use of language It's like a dance for me It feels important because to me it's kind of like an Expression of something deeper.

It's like a whole body experience when I say a word I feel it move through me and So well,

Let me pause there Think about what type of words Generate energy in you type of words generate energy in you feel free to put that in the chat When you say a word when you think of a word What's one that just makes you feel good inside?

I kind of just get this sense of like peace right The associations we have with that or If I was to say Mind is full Well,

This topic today is awakening.

That's the first word awakening the fearless warrior inside the heart Awakening feels like you're you're just free something opens up Something comes to the surface Your eyes wide open That's the way I see awakening and the next part the fearless warrior The fearless warrior one of the number one things that people message me about or want support with is Getting out of this place of anxiety and fear stress Manic fear,

Let's call it Because I was there most my life.

I was I was in fight-or-flight constantly It was like I was like on edge like a Like a bandit that's broken out of jail and looking around the corner like if someone's gonna catch me or am I gonna get?

If you've ever felt anxiety or tension or fight-or-flight,

You know how it feels,

Right?

I don't I don't think I've ever met anyone who's not felt like that actually Yeah,

I don't think I've ever met anyone that's never felt in some moment of their life feeling a bit scared and Letting it take over the mind Because here's the thing Fears are okay as a physical feeling It's just our body's way of telling us that there's danger.

That's what fear means Let me repeat that actually Fear is your body's way of telling you that there's danger But then what occurs afterwards?

Is the mental analysis of that thing?

It's like if I had dropped an ice cream on my white t-shirt Yeah,

My body will probably be like oh that's cold or my ice cream so annoyed But then if after that I say,

Oh my god,

You're such an idiot.

You're this you're that This means this about the world because I dropped my ice cream.

That means if I'm going to walk now,

I might fall over Because I dropped my ice cream I might fall over or Next time I have an ice cream.

I'm gonna drop it as well.

I Just know it.

I'm an ice cream dropper and then I label myself.

I'll say oh,

I'm I've got this condition My doctor's told me I've got a condition I'm an ice cream dropper.

I've got to take these tablets for this now So I'm very aware that I'm simplifying Very challenging things that we that occur right like anxiety But it's the same program.

It's the same pattern It's just very Cemented that's what it is.

It's cemented into place.

We're used to it So back to what I was saying about fearless fearless means That you're just not in your head.

You're not scaring yourself You're not scaring yourself The actual things that are dangerous are real But you're not scaring yourself into making it bigger That's what fearless means to me Things are occurring Doesn't feel very comfortable doing things.

I Do things all the time that don't feel comfortable But fearless means that I'm okay with the experience of discomfort And I'm just gonna go and do what I want so Tell me some of your fears in the chat.

What does warrior mean?

And if you've just joined I'm telling everyone how fascinated I am with combining Ways of being really this is beyond words These words I choose to play within life are ways of being so awakening Going into a state of awakening the fearless part And now let's talk about the warrior And I'll come back to what you guys have put in the chat in a moment Thank you for playing and it means you're you're in right?

I Don't care if you if you tell me you've been scared all your life or your physical appearance is a small Person and thin or whatever right whatever you've got going on Everyone has warrior It lives in your belly Lives right there.

They say there's a fire in my belly Well,

I actually believe there is it's not just it's not just a fun phrase I Actually believe there is a warrior living there Who's like sitting there with his you know,

He's sitting there eating his lunch She's sitting there eating her lunch and saying ah,

Like when are they gonna call me?

I want to play The warrior is just sitting there waiting It's ready It's got that it's got like the warrior outfit on strong powerful so when I was younger,

I Got into weightlifting Because I was really skinny I was a thin guy So all my life I had this thing of I've got to be strong And I grew up around men who you know like friends family members who were just like into that whole like wrestling thing and Yeah,

Like even physically wrestling each other a lot that happened quite a lot So I knew well I have to be stronger It was fun for me actually And So I got into weightlifting I became super strong Like I'm almost tempted to get back into it just to Just to take some videos What I could lift now versus then who knows?

But what it did was it helped me awaken this fierceness in me I I didn't know I had that actually It takes a bit of that like fire to be able to lift heavy weights,

Right?

But the thing is That wasn't really me being the warrior That was just me tapping into a part of it In fact for most of my life.

I've been scared to say what I think I've had challenges with confidence.

You know that word confidence we throw around I'd be the one sitting back in the corner like while there's a group of people.

I'll just be like listening and Everyone told me all my life.

Oh Raj.

You're a great listener Because It just fit with me But I didn't say some of the things I wanted to say I Didn't do many of the things I wanted to do Because there was something in the way and then I would go and try and prove myself Try and prove everyone wrong because It's like trying to it's like trying to tap into the warrior,

But in a way that doesn't really wake him up wake her up It's kind of like oh,

I know there's a worry in me So if I do this stuff Yeah,

I'm being that warrior well what I realized is being the warrior means Taking some actions Towards what we really really want Not letting anyone or anything stand in our way Charging through there's no need to hurt anyone.

We're not that kind of warrior There's no need for that It's kind of like charging through and everyone moves and When I say everyone what I'm talking about is the mind all the noise all the thinking it all moves out of the way It makes way Because you're in this mode Of strength of fire you're going for it So that's required that's why this is in the sentence awaken the fearless warrior inside the heart So feel how that connects to you Take a moment right now To feel your stomach Through your breath put your hand there if you want and start connecting to This fire in your belly Close your eyes Feel your breath in your stomach and think of a time When you are a warrior Even in a tiny way Where you did something?

That was completely The opposite of your fearful mind You broke through Feel it in your stomach your strength your power Now imagine a fire in your stomach With each breath It's growing It's growing See the color of the fire Electric yellow and orange and red Feel this fire your fire your strength your power Now think of one thing That you'd like to create by using this power and their strength Burning through the noise Go straight to the insight and the tiny action That you must take To make the change in your life And now feel your energy dropping into the ground melting melting melting The warrior is with you and I'm with you and life Is with you?

So using this term share it to declare it in my last few sessions Make it real it's out your head and into this chat and Sometimes it can feel challenging to find the warrior Because there's all sorts of thinking in the way,

And that's okay We think There's no need to like exile the thinking It's okay to think Secrets make you sick Interesting.

Yeah Liberation that's what I represent really like that's one of the big things I represent liberation Holding things inside and putting on an act Doesn't help anyone Ever because it's like you have to uphold that act now That's tiring,

Yes So here's the next part I've talked about awakening Awakening to me is like opening your eyes your awareness Seeing things differently I've talked about the fearless part Which is okay you You're you have all this thinking But there is another mode inside of you fearless which is just When you're not scaring yourself as much You're not scaring yourself as much Yeah,

There's actual real things that are scary like if there was a tiger in front of me.

Yeah,

I probably be scared I probably wouldn't cuddle him and say ah nice nice beard nice hair you have Probably be worried that he's gonna eat me So that's a that's a real thing.

That's my body telling me.

Hey,

There's danger Fear is your body telling you there is danger That's what the actual thing is about fear.

That's what it that's the reality of fear but then the next layer that we take on as humans is an analysis of that and Turning it into something else scaring ourselves much more So fearless is just scaring yourself less And then I was talking about the warrior inside the fire the one that goes forth into the world Does stuff does what we want to do being that person that we are inside That's the warrior And now finally I'm going to talk about inside the heart.

That's the last part of what this session is called Inside the heart here's a Big truth that I learned We're not gonna find anything on the outside.

That's gonna give us the true satisfaction that we want It's never gonna come from the outside in It always has to be the inside first outwardly so we have to go in and This is not like renouncing by the way,

I'm not a renouncing type of person Like I did if I'm gonna be honest I did renounce in many ways renounced a few things and I just went deep into my inner journey for a while And that was useful very useful But I learned that Life is not about renouncing things It's not about saying oh,

Well,

Yeah,

It's all an illusion We're in the matrix what's the point of this and this is like what's the point of money and In the end that that creates more misery Instead I think it's combining the inside with the outside it becoming a one thing Where there is no separation anymore It's just the experience of life But what that requires is to have a great strong inner stance Being well and full inside first So that's why I use the word inside great word the heart Inside the heart What does that mean?

Well,

That's where the goods live The goods live right here in the heart it's the gold the gold is there and I was looking everywhere for this.

I went to places all over the world.

I Was in Machu Picchu like digging and looking.

Ah,

Maybe let me find this gold here.

Oh Yeah,

Okay.

It's cool for one moment and then great back to back to the misery Going on vacation then you come back and you're like,

Oh vacation was amazing.

I wish I wish I can do that more often But then you come back and you're like taking the same you're in the same cycle And I'm not saying vacation isn't amazing.

Of course it is And I'm not saying I'm not gonna enjoy traveling.

Of course,

I will It's fun and I got so much out of it I still will continue to get so much out of it But the person here is being carried around to different places in the world the same person This is all gonna be here.

It's the constant The constant is me The constant is you so When I say inside the heart You find once you find this gold inside you and you fill that up There's less feeling like there's something missing and even relationships things like relationships right going into all sorts of relationships and all different types of work and All Sorts of different things in life,

Right trying to look looking searching searching searching for the thing That's gonna give the peace and and the completeness and the contentment more money more money And again,

I'm not against any of this stuff all of that stuff is great More money great credit business great be excel in your career amazing I want to support people like that.

That's that's brilliant But if there's something feeling like it's missing well,

You got to look for that in the heart It's the only place you're gonna find it and that's where I found it.

I Don't think I I I knew I had a heart for most of my life Like people would talk about oh,

I feel that and people put their hand there and I'd I was never like that By the way,

If you're wondering like,

Oh Raj is talking about all this heart stuff Yeah,

Has he always been like a heartful person?

No,

Not at all.

I was very skeptical I Wasn't into any of this spiritual stuff.

I thought it was madness.

I thought people had lost their minds and I don't think I had a heart.

Like I said,

I thought heart meant oh you exercise and you feel cardiovascular your cardiovascular performance improves So,

Let me go for a run and that will work my heart But then I discovered when I went on my journey,

I discovered there was so much I missed out on Because this was closed It was closed and it had like this iron clad barrier It had like this this like hundred padlocks on it and there was there was no sign of where the keys were Whoever put them whoever locked it up threw away all the keys It was made of platinum.

It was guarded by millions of guards.

So there was no way I was ever gonna get there I don't even know existed.

It was like one of those like There's like in the Star Trek movies or something like that where they have those you call it Those devices that cloak things It cloaks stuff no like Harry Potter when he has that what's it called now Oh Invisible cloak or whatever it conceals things So I didn't know this thing was here basically Anyway from my ramble To underscore everything It's it's just there.

It's there and it wants to be found So tell me in the chat what comes up for you when you think of heart Tell me just put anything the first thing that comes up when you've heard me talk about this so far What is coming up for you?

That's it.

That's what it is.

It's a calm fire.

It's not like aggression It's not like Yeah,

That's the best way I describe it It's like those samurai warriors who are just like elegant,

But they're still sharp They're still moving with purpose.

They're going for it.

It's the calm fire.

That's what the warrior really is So Matty says it was always inside you.

You just kept it hidden away.

Exactly.

It was hidden away.

That's all Hidden away and that's okay.

I think that's a and by the way,

I don't think any of this is bad None of this is like hey,

You have a problem and you have a trapped heart and oh You better do this and that let me diagnose you with this and hey,

I'm better than you and I'm above you and hey There's like something that you got a fix It's not that at all.

I see all of this is a beautiful a beautiful journey that humans are Meant to go on I think humans are meant to go on this humans are meant to have suffering We're meant to have things that challenge us.

We're meant to have blocks It is all there for a reason For us to discover it and For us to reach our full potential You know we have as humans we have this different level of evolution We have this potential firstly to be conscious to be conscious of to a different level right a different level of consciousness we have and I also think we've evolved in a different way energetically We're able to connect with things like Spiritual dimensions,

How crazy is that?

Well,

How cool is that?

So we have it's like we have all of the the tools ready It's like if I was to buy you a toolbox,

And I'll say yeah,

You've got this toolbox.

You know you've you know You have this toolbox,

And you've had it your whole life.

It's there So now it's just about using the toolbox Because the toolbox means you can be freer in your mind you can Be more loving And you can tap into this fire and go and take actions that's ultimately what it is and There's no way I would have known this in the past No way So it requires us to go on the journey to discover it So again none of this is bad.

It's all it's an exciting journey.

That's the way I see it I See it as a fun thing to work on like if you had a if you had canvases and You get to just start painting things and learn how to use the brushes That's it It doesn't mean right now.

You're you're awful or something's wrong Just means hey you got canvases.

Or you just want to leave that you leave it right there and do nothing with it and Just carry on with how things are right now you choose,

Maybe I shouldn't be worried Once you have different perspectives of on things and you're willing to let go of what you already know then it opens this door and Then you can open the door and you'll say ah Yeah,

Maybe there is a fearless part of me in here Yeah,

And Maybe there is a warrior that can take actions that is going against all my thinking It's coming from the heart maybe I can listen to my heart and Even though my mind says the complete opposite my mind versus heart,

You know the dilemma we have Maybe I can listen to this heart and then go and take action on what my heart's saying It's the most powerful thing we have as humans Listening to the heart and then taking action on what it tells us the warrior the warrior takes action and Listening to the heart that's intuition.

That's wisdom Wisdom plus action Well,

I don't think there's any way that your mind can stop you then It will chat But you'll go to bed every day saying ah,

Wow,

Ah I Listened to my heart and I did something that felt Like it lined with me Wow Awesome so That's the summary of what I wanted to talk about today.

That that's a good one because some days we're not right and that's okay Some days we're not But what what creates the knot for you?

Imagine you knew like what created the knot and what created those days where you were courageous Because then you start knowing yourself For me,

Let me make this real if I have overworked Or I have not Fed myself well,

I haven't slept well then It's a little bit more challenging to be in be at my best,

Right?

Or if I'm doing things that aren't in alignment with me Or I'm very sensitive actually if I say something that doesn't feel like is in alignment with me I'll feel it later.

I'll be like,

Ah Hmm Yeah That doesn't feel good And the same thing with courage if I'm trying to force myself to do something Sometimes I got to check in with myself and say,

Huh?

What's pushing me here?

Is this useful?

Hmm so it's finding that wisdom of What's creating your courage and for what purpose do you need the courage?

Once you're clear on those two things then you can use them together so may says I'm struggling with depression and Finding it hard to be courageous hard to even move Okay,

So that's that's challenging because if you're if your whole body's involved from what I'm reading anyway From what I'm reading anyway If your whole body is involved Your whole physical body is shutting down Then it can be challenging So if you have a question,

But the only thing I'll say about that is Yeah,

The health is very important the physical health.

It's a great foundation For other things to come out of it Okay,

Maddy says working on the heart I will say is going to be the hardest and I'm actually in the beginning of my most difficult one yet Any advice on remaining on this journey?

Hmm Interesting so you say any advice on remaining in the journey.

Oh Sorry remaining in the now on this journey,

Yeah Hmm I Think you know,

I think you know what will help you in to go into the now What if you did know?

That's the first thing that comes up for me the second thing I'd say is That you don't have to try so hard when we try less We can remain in the now much better Here's an example,

I've tried this a lot.

I've tried like if I'm feeling tense,

I'll be like,

Okay,

I've got to get present I've got to get present.

I've got to get there like this is too much And the more I try it's like running around in quicksand The trying takes me away from where I really want to be Whereas if it's like a gentle a gentle Nurturing into that place.

It's a whole different game And when I say trying I'm saying judgment really Judgment of I'm not I'm not present.

I got to be present Yeah,

Just for me anyway Personally this makes it harder Yeah,

It makes it harder like even meditation itself.

I get questions all the time about meditation and Meditation is not a doing It's not a it's not a activity actually Because if we go into performance mode on meditation,

I say this to people sometimes I say there's no trophy for meditation There's no way you can be good at it.

It doesn't make sense.

There's no like performance of it It's not a race.

You don't get a medal.

You can't even share notes with people really,

Right?

No one can physically see what's going on.

It just looks like oh,

There's some person sitting there with the eyes closed.

Ah,

Okay There's there's no way to measure it If we go into performance mode with meditation,

It is not meditation It's trying to do something so the key with This and I prefer to say Meditated being in a state of meditation rather than doing meditation and what I mean by that is just slowing down you know,

We all know how to sit on a chair and just if I said sit on the chair and Close your eyes and do nothing That's that might even be more useful than saying hey meditate Because then it's like oh crap like I'm not very good at that.

Hmm Yeah,

Every time I do that is so challenging So I don't even use the word meditation sometimes if I'm talking to someone specifically I'll say go and sit you can do that right go and sit and do nothing and Sometimes I'll say go and sit and just See how your your belly moves Just just be very curious and interested about how your belly is moving like your belly was like the most important thing in your life right now and That's it.

You're you're you're slowing down.

You're getting into a state of observation Observation and Of course,

There's different types of meditations.

I got tons of different types on mine where I'm taking you through things specifically But again,

That's just to raise your awareness of things I talk about heart That's bringing your awareness to that thing Observing it so Hope that was helpful to someone Tell me if it was So,

I feel a clear Calling to guide meditations how to be courageous to Share my voice with groups.

It feels much needed to awaken peace.

Nice Hmm A part of me was just gonna say Just do it.

That's the first thing I was gonna say well Just do it How to be courageous is just just go and do it.

Just try it right then,

You'll know You know how it felt in real time in real life Rather than like estimating or trying to guess,

You know heads Go and actually just do it.

That's the first thing that comes up.

But of course,

That's not easy.

I'm not saying it's easy The second thing that comes up is To share something that really lights you up that you're so passionate about Because here's the thing when when we look into the world We're we're comparing about we're comparing with everything that's already out there other people with like what a great teacher does or you know,

Let's say you're starting a business or a career or Relationship any of this stuff this applies to everything Looking at other people That's the most useless thing ever Complete useless There's literally nothing is useful for Because you're never ever gonna have their experience of life or anything they have ever People will try this.

There'll be copycats.

I've had a few people copycat me And I've seen them and I'm like you literally copied the exact phrase on my page And you just changed it a little bit Like I'm not I don't judge them for that,

But I just know that that's not in alignment to who they are They're not being themself You know when we're younger they say be yourself I didn't understand what that meant for most of my life actually I'm honest I Was trying to be I was trying to be like the cool kid or trying to be the one who is I don't know.

Whatever right just does not being me.

Let's just say looking for everything out there Comparing oh,

He's doing that.

Oh,

Yeah,

That's cool.

Oh cool As soon as I dropped that it was huge for me Massive I never even thought it was possible to not compare and Like as soon as it happened What started to happen this like process of it,

I was like wow I've been doing this thing my whole life Whoa,
