I would love for each of you to conjure up a moment of joy whether it's a real moment from today or something from the past or something you can imagine that you would like to happen.
I challenge you to imagine joy.
Now,
Especially if you have found some joy,
I invite you to focus on your feet.
Move your attention all the way down to your feet.
Breathe into your feet.
Notice whatever there is to notice about your feet.
Let go of everything.
Let go of thoughts.
Let go of feelings.
Let go of tension.
Let go of anything you would like to let go of.
For those of us who have two feet,
Notice how feet come in pairs.
Notice how one foot is not alone.
It has its friend foot right next to it.
And now focus on your right foot.
Just for a moment,
Focus only on your right foot.
Notice it.
And specifically,
Notice your big toe.
Your right big toe.
Notice your second toe on your right foot.
Notice your third toe.
Notice your fourth toe.
Notice your fifth toe.
Notice your sixth toe.
Notice your seventh toe.
Notice your eighth toe.
Notice your ninth toe.
Notice the body of your foot.
Take a deep breath and notice your whole right foot and how it is connected to your lower leg.
Take a deep,
Peaceful breath.
Notice your whole body for a moment.
Notice where there is calm and chaos in your body.
This is non-judgmental noticing.
Simply notice.
Bring all of your attention to your left foot.
Notice your left foot.
Bring all of your attention to the big toe of your left foot.
Now notice your second toe.
Notice your third toe.
Notice your fourth toe.
Notice your pinky toe.
Take a slow breath and notice the bottom of your left foot.
Notice your left ankle.
And your left heel.
Don't forget your heel.
Don't let me forget your heel.
Notice your left heel.
Notice your left ankle.
Notice the body of your left foot.
Surrender to your left foot and notice how it is connected to your lower leg.
Bring a gentle awareness to your entire body.
Accept yourself completely.
Accept whatever is in your awareness completely.
As you notice and accept,
Breathe.
Balance your breath so you breathe evenly on the inhale and on the exhale.
This might take a few tries to get it just right where the inhale and the exhale is balanced.
Every step along the way is important.
The spectrum of action is important.
And if you allow your outward actions to begin with the micro actions within,
You likely will be more and more embodied as you step deeper into the world with whatever it is you're called to do.
Breathe.
Balance your breath.
Notice if there is anything in the world that you are already resistant against.
Find your no.
Say no.
You can say no internally.
You can also use your voice and practice saying no.
How does it feel?
How does it sound to take this action?
No.
Notice your body.
Breathe.
Find that center in your physical form again.
Allow your true self to live there.
Listen to your true self.
What does it have to say today?
What is its message for you?
Deep,
Peaceful breath.
If you are not able to take a peaceful breath,
Welcome peace.
Invite it in.
Allow yourself the possibility of feeling peace,
Of embodying peace,
Of offering peace.
If you can,
Breathe all the way down to your feet.
Honor and ground out any uncertainty.
It's okay to be clear.
It's okay to know your part.
It's okay to act in a way that is in accordance with your true self.
Breathe peacefully all the way down to your feet.
