The primary objective of this meditation is to cultivate and absorb environmental Qi. Each direction of energy (N, S, E, W, Heaven, and Earth) has its own unique field of power and vibration, and is assigned a specific color. Each vibration and color stimulates the energy field of one of the five major Yin organs through the body's Heaven and Earth connection. If going outside, it's important to avoid selecting any areas that are windy, turbulent, polluted, or stagnant. Avoid extreme weather.

Transcript

Gather Chi from the Six Directions meditation.

Face south throughout this meditation.

Once you have identified the south,

Stand in a wuji posture.

Your feet are firmly planted on the ground.

Your knees are slightly bent.

Your tailbone tucks down.

Your spine elongates up and your shoulders sink down and relax.

Your head reaches toward the heavens.

Your elbows are bent and your hands are in front of you,

Palms facing toward the earth.

Within this mist,

You notice that a silvery white mist descends from the center of the heavens to penetrate and envelop your tai chi pull,

The center of your body from the top of your head down the spine all the way to the tailbone.

This silvery mist enters your body through the top of the head at the bai hui point.

It flows into and fills up the tai chi pull,

Saturating and absorbing into your center core.

As you breathe gently,

You continue to picture the silvery white mist.

With your next breath,

You notice a golden yellow mist ascending from the center of the earth,

Entering your body through the bottom of your feet at yong chuan or kidney one points,

The very center of the bottom of your feet.

This golden yellow mist saturates your spleen up and under the left ribcage as it penetrates and envelops your center core.

Continue to breathe and see this golden yellow mist coming up from the center of the earth,

Entering through the bottom of your feet,

Filling and saturating your spleen and wrapping your center core.

As you continue to breathe,

You notice a ruby red mist flowing from the horizon in front of you,

Entering your heart.

It saturates and envelops the front of your body.

Your gentle breath continues as you see this ruby red mist flow in from the horizon in front of you,

Filling your heart and saturating and enveloping the front of your body.

And with your next breath,

An indigo or dark blue mist flows from the horizon behind you and enters your kidneys just under the ribcage and back.

It saturates and envelops your back like a warm blanket.

As you continue to breathe softly,

This dark blue mist flows from the horizon behind you and enters your kidneys,

Saturating and enveloping your back.

A brilliant white mist flows from the horizon on your right side and enters your lungs.

And as it enters your lungs,

It expands and saturates and envelops the right side of your body.

Continue to focus on this brilliant white mist from the horizon on your right side.

As you breathe,

You see it enter your lungs as it saturates and envelops the right side of your body.

With your next breath,

You see an emerald green mist flowing from the horizon on your left side.

It moves through the body and enters the liver under your right ribcage.

As it moves,

It entirely saturates and envelops the left side of your body.

This bright,

Emerald green mist continues to flow from the left horizon,

Flowing through your body and entering your liver,

Saturating and enveloping the left side of your body.

The colours of the energy are clean,

Clear and bright.

Your body is filled with this energy.

We'll end the meditation with two deep abdominal breaths.

Inhale as deeply and slowly as you can.

Exhale deeply and slowly.

One more time.

Inhale.

And exhale.

And exhale.

That was beautiful! Thanks. Do those of us in southern hemisphere still face south or should we face north, Juli? 🙏🏼
