Hello and welcome to this quick breath work for calm recording.

So we are going to use a breath pattern that is two inhales through the nose and one long exhale through the mouth,

Sounding something like this.

We are going to use that breath pattern followed by one top hold.

Then we're going to go into another short pattern of that exact same thing and this should take you less than five minutes.

So it's perfect for a little quick hit of calm.

Whenever you are ready doing this standing,

Seated or lying down,

Eyes open or closed.

Starting with those two breaths in through the nose.

Continuing that breath pattern,

Really focusing on getting that full exhale.

Whenever you feel ready doing that top hold,

Taking a deep inhale through the nose and holding here.

Back into that two part inhale,

One part exhale.

Feeling your shoulders relax on the exhale.

Letting your mind focus only on the sensations of your breathing.

Not thinking about the past,

Not thinking about the future,

But being fully present in this moment and doing that last top hold before releasing into your natural breath pattern.

Holding here,

Releasing to your natural breath pattern or doing a couple deep cleansing inhales and exhales and using this breath pattern whenever you need throughout your day.

Just bring that sense of calm and peace back into your body and back into your mind.
