Welcome.
Take a moment to arrive.
Let your body settle into this stillness.
Closing your eyes or softening your gaze.
Beginning to notice your breath.
Not changing it just yet.
Simply noticing the inhale,
The exhale.
Noticing the space in between.
Beginning to feel present in your body.
Noticing the weight of your body as you lie or sit.
Noticing any sensations.
Not creating a story around anything.
Just simply noticing.
Let your breath move in like a gentle wave,
Rising and falling.
Trusting the breath.
Trusting your body.
And as we begin,
I invite you to set down the weight of control.
Just for now.
You don't have to carry it here.
You're safe.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose.
A long,
Controlled breath out through the mouth.
Taking another deep breath in.
Feeling your body softening,
Your muscles relaxing.
Let these words move through you.
There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to force.
Just breathe.
With every exhale,
I release the need to control what I cannot change.
With every inhale,
I welcome trust into my mind,
Body,
And heart.
Breathing in through the nose.
Gently filling up and exhaling completely.
Keeping with this simple,
Soft breath pattern.
Letting those words resonate once more.
With every exhale,
I release the need to control what I cannot change.
With every inhale,
I welcome trust into my body,
Mind,
And heart.
Keeping this gentle flow of breath in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
With each exhale,
Letting your muscles relax,
Feeling your body sink deeper into the surface beneath you.
Feel into your body.
Notice where you might be gripping,
Holding,
Bracing,
Tensing.
And allow that part to soften.
Allow your breath to go into this space,
Softening it,
Releasing it.
It's safe to loosen my grip.
I trust myself to handle what comes,
But I do not have to do it all now.
Letting those words resonate as you continue to breathe.
Inviting surrender into this space.
Inviting a softness.
Let go of the need to know the answers.
Let go of the need to be on all the time.
I'm not responsible for everything.
I give myself permission to release.
Taking another deep inhale.
And exhale.
Keeping this breath flowing.
Creating a cycle of breath through the inhale,
Blends seamlessly into the exhale.
Eliminating the pause between the two parts.
And letting these words sink in again.
It's safe to loosen my grip.
I trust myself to handle whatever comes at me,
But I do not have to do it all now.
I'm not responsible for everything.
I give myself permission to release.
Inhaling spaciousness.
Exhaling,
Letting it all release.
Inhaling trust.
Exhaling control.
Letting this breath continue to flow.
Let this be a practice of trust.
Trusting the breath.
Trusting yourself.
Trusting that life will unfold in its own time.
Even when I cannot see the way forward,
I trust the path.
The path is forming.
I am supported.
I am safe.
I am enough.
Let these words move with your breath.
Even when I cannot see the way forward,
I trust the path is forming.
I am supported.
I am safe.
I am enough.
Breathe them in.
Speak them in your mind.
And simply feel them land.
And now letting yourself hear these words with your mind,
With your body,
With your heart.
I surrender what no longer serves me.
I trust what is meant for me will find me.
I am grounded in this moment.
I let go and I let life flow.
Using this breath,
Using this practice to release the need to control.
And when we release the need to control,
We allow trust.
Now keeping your breath moving,
Let yourself rest in this space.
No doing,
No effort,
Just being.
Noticing where you feel these words.
Noticing what comes up.
Noticing any tension.
Noticing if you begin gripping or holding the breath.
Again,
As you hear these affirmations.
I surrender what no longer serves me.
I trust what is meant for me will find me.
I am grounded in this moment.
I let go and I let life flow.
Breathing in compassion for yourself.
The need to control comes from a need for safety.
But oftentimes this need to control everything around us and everything within us builds and builds.
And we no longer know how to trust.
We no longer know how to let go.
We create unnecessary stress in our life.
When you're ready,
Just simply repeating back to yourself,
I am supported.
I am safe.
I am enough.
I can let go.
I can.
And when you're ready,
Slowly beginning to bring awareness back into your body.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.
Gently shifting your hips from side to side.
Beginning to slowly flutter open your eyes.
Taking one more full deep breath here in this space,
In this energy.
Inhaling through the nose.
Exhaling through the mouth.
Letting this feeling of trust and surrender stay with you throughout the rest of your day,
The rest of your week.
Using this as a reminder.
You are safe.
You are held.
You are enough.
And whenever you're ready,
Coming back into your space.
Bringing your hands to your heart.
Knowing that you can let go of control.
You can trust.
And taking this message with you.
Thank you.
