This yoga nidra for sleep is for when everything feels too warm,

Too fast.

You're here to let go.

You're here to soften.

To cool.

To rest.

Make yourself as comfortable as you can.

Cool sheet or no blanket at all.

Letting the air touch your skin.

Letting your body feel free.

And perhaps beginning to notice your breath.

Without changing it,

Simply noticing.

Letting your breath to breathe you.

Gently inhaling through your nose.

And exhaling through softly parted lips.

Exhaling through softly parted lips.

Like a breeze leaving the body.

To return to normal now.

Feel a cool sensation brushing across the scalp.

Cheeks.

Jaw.

Dill and soothed.

Fingers.

Chest.

Cool air swirling softly around the heart.

Like river stones.

Feet.

And if it feels good.

One you sense.

A whisper.

A truth.
