This is Andrea from Chi-Happy and welcome to this heart meditation.
According to traditional Chinese medicine,
Our heart meridian has an emotion attached to it and the emotion of the heart is joy and pleasure.
So our heart is the organ that is connected with joy,
Pleasure,
Love,
Happiness,
Respect,
Creativity,
Enthusiasm.
And then on the contrary,
If we are impatient and arrogant,
Maybe moody,
Those are signs for a weakness of the heart meridian according to traditional Chinese medicine.
The good news is we can train our heart energy and balance it so that yin and yang are in balance.
I would like to introduce you to a healing sound for the heart.
Your feet flat on the floor,
With your back straight,
Your shoulders relaxed and your hands on your lap with the palms facing upward.
Take a deep breath in and slowly release.
So the sound,
The healing sound that we will make is called the k sound.
For the sound you open your mouth,
Your tongue is at the bottom and your teeth are apart so that there is space for one finger between your lips.
So what you do is you breathe in and when breathing out you make the sound.
I'll first demonstrate it for you.
So as long as you breathe out you make the sound,
So you breathe in and then you start with k.
If you are in a surrounding where it's uncomfortable to make any sounds,
You can just imagine you are making the sound,
That will work as well.
Now apart from the sound,
Let's also add your imagination.
So you imagine when breathing in that you are breathing in fresh new energy and when you make the sound you breathe out your impatience,
Any heat,
Hectic,
Arrogance,
You all breathe it out.
So let's do that together then.
So let's breathe in.
And now repeat that for three times at your own pace.
And then breathe in.

And now put your hands on your heart.
And just take a moment to notice what's there.
Without judging,
Choose noticing.
And then relax your arms again.
Become aware of your feet on the floor.
Notice your soles of your feet touching the floor.
Or if you're wearing socks or shoes,
See what you feel on the soles of your feet.
And now move your attention to your hands.
Move your fingers.
And now put your hands together.
And just rub your hands against each other and with such attention that you can feel any sensation on your hands and fingers.
And now take a gentle stretch of your arms and your legs.
Give your arms and legs a shake and come fully back to where you are and have a magical day filled with joy,
Pleasure and happiness.
