What if your greatest weakness is also one of your greatest strengths? All of our qualities have an embodied side and a repressed side. By owning and loving who you are, you create the space for these qualities to expand and express themselves in their true form, powerfully and positively in your life! Often, all it takes is a simple reframe.

Hello and welcome to this reframe meditation.

Find somewhere quiet and comfortable to sit and begin to deepen your breath.

Inhaling filling your lungs up to full capacity,

Pausing briefly at the top and then exhaling ever so slowly as you empty your lungs completely,

Pausing at the bottom.

And a few more times on your own just like that,

Relaxing further into your seat with every breath,

Letting your mind soften and your thoughts dissolve as you move into a state of ease and non-resistance.

Now I want you to softly think of a quality you have that you usually think of as a weakness.

Whatever comes to mind first is perfect.

And with this quality we're going to reframe it and see it from its positive side.

For example,

You may have a quick temper but this also means you're passionate about what you believe in.

You may be stubborn but this iron will serves you when it comes to seeing projects through to completion.

And you may be gullible but your proclivity to trust others often causes them to rise to the challenge and become worthy of your trust.

All of our qualities have an embodied side and a repressed side.

And what you perceive as your greatest weakness is very likely one of your greatest strengths and your superpowers.

So take a moment to look at the quality you've chosen from a new angle.

How does this quality serve you?

How does it make your life better?

Think about what it would look like if you totally made peace with this aspect of yourself and owned it completely.

Maybe even loved and appreciated it.

Just take a few moments to reframe your quality.

Maybe even giving it a new name.

For example,

Instead of overly emotional you could call yourself highly sensitive.

Instead of angry you could call yourself passionate.

And now tell a new more empowering story about yourself in relation to this quality.

Maybe even taking a moment to thank it and feel appreciation for how it serves you in your life and makes you unique.

For example,

Mine would be,

I love that I'm sensitive.

I get to perceive life in a rich and detailed way and feel things deeply.

Now inhale deeply and exhale slowly.

I want you to know that nothing about you is a mistake and everything within you has an embodied side that you can express fully at any time and cause great benefit for you and everyone around you.

All negative energy is just positive energy that's been squished.

And so by owning and loving who you are,

You create this space for these qualities to expand and express themselves in their true form.

Often all it takes for this simple shift to happen is a mental reframe.

Remember you are a divine idea.

Your presence is a present and the world is calling for your unique gifts.

So shine them brightly and own them fully.

Thank you so much for joining me here today.

From my heart to yours,

Namaste.

Really when it comes down to it meditation is a re- frameing technique. Creating space where insight and peace of mind, body and spirit are able to flourish. Thank you for underscoring this in a positive light. πŸ™
