Hello and welcome to this week's purely being guided meditation.
This daily living meditation is designed to help you consciously relax and breathe amidst focused activities like cooking or cleaning where you may be tempted to tighten up or hold your breath a little.
The ultimate goal is for any form of tension or tightness to become a stimulus to breathe deeper and relax more fully into yourself in the moment.
And so,
Wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
Take a deep belly breath in,
Expanding wide through the front,
Back,
And sides of your body,
And release it with a big sigh,
Letting all the air go.
Again,
Deep full body breath in,
Sipping in a little more air at the top,
And releasing with an audible sigh,
Letting go.
Big breath in,
Deep into your belly,
Letting it fill your ribs,
Your chest,
Hold it at the top,
And release it with an obnoxious sigh out,
Letting all the air go,
Softening,
Relaxing,
And breathing at your own pace.
If it's accessible to you,
See if you can pause or be still for just a few moments,
Maybe even briefly closing your eyes,
Noticing any resistance you feel to changing your momentum or pace.
See if you can breathe into that space and those sensations,
Acknowledging that you are doing something new here.
You are choosing to relax consciously and intentionally.
You are choosing to feel better in your now moment,
Even as you move,
Adding to the quality and pleasure of your divinely appointed present moment,
Where all of life exists.
Take a deep full breath,
Open your eyes if they were closed,
And allow yourself to resume your activity in a state of even 1% greater relaxation.
Notice the moment when you become unconscious,
Returning to tension,
And choose to celebrate that moment of awareness.
Use this awareness as an impetus to breathe,
Soften,
And relax into your commitment and devotion to feel better now,
And enjoy this moment more fully.
See if you can relax even more deeply.
Let all tension in your body melt away.
Stop fighting life.
Stop fighting yourself.
Lay down your defense.
It's time to relax.
Be soft in your body,
Even amidst movement and activity.
Let your breath flow.
You are doing so well.
Breathe deeply and fully,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhale all the air out from your lungs,
Pausing briefly at the bottom before taking your next inhale.
Full breath in,
And slow exhale out.
Let each breath be a reset and a recommitment to your inner peace.
Where are you holding tension in your body?
See if you can relax and soften that area now.
It's safe to relax.
Exhale.
See all tension and discomfort as a stimulus to breathe,
Soften,
And relax into your body more deeply.
Inhale.
Slow exhale.
Whatever you're feeling right now,
Melt into the sensation.
Release all defense,
All bracing.
Become even softer.
Breathe even slower.
Relax a little more deeply.
Breathe and relax your body.
Notice how relaxation changes the quality of the moment.
It's as if you're relaxing back into the natural harmony and unrushed speed of life more completely,
Attuning to and becoming one with life.
Don't force or fight yourself.
Let yourself feel how you do.
Breathe and relax into these sensations.
There's no rush.
Breathe in.
Be gentle with yourself now.
You're doing great.
Can you relax as you move and be?
Can you relax as you think?
Notice how,
When you attempt to stay relaxed,
Tension appears.
Instead of trying to hold on to the relaxation and sustain it,
See if you can view relaxation as a continual opening outwards,
A surrendered extension of your being into life,
As if you're falling into an infinite feather bed where life continues to catch you completely.
Breathe deeply.
There is no rush.
Relax your body completely.
Drop all tension.
Just let it go.
Let it go.
Return to your still,
Soft centre,
Even amidst the motion of the body and the mind.
If you are resisting this moment in any way,
Notice what's on the other side.
In other words,
What are you bracing against?
What if there is nothing to resist?
Can you let down your defence and breathe?
At one with yourself in the moment.
Let down your defence.
Let it go.
You can only ever meet more of yourself,
That which in you is real,
Cannot be taken from.
How would you exist in this moment if you knew you were perfectly secure,
Held and loved?
Breathe deeply and fully now.
Relax your body from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
Drop all tension.
Melt.
Soften into the moment.
The more you breathe,
The more life force you receive.
It is your greatest source of health and wellbeing.
Breathe deeply.
It's safe for you to relax.
Can you imagine a reality where you moved with relaxation from a place of deep inner quiet,
Stillness and perfect peace?
This is who you are.
Take a deep inhale and let it go with a slow exhale.
Repeat after me.
As I breathe deeply,
I relax my body.
I allow myself to relax completely now.
It's safe to relax my body.
I can find peace and pleasure amidst movement by slowing down.
I am living in a relaxed and happy body.
Tension releases.
Time slows.
My body floats in life's divine flow.
As I move,
I relax.
As I feel,
I relax.
As I create,
I relax.
As I express myself,
I relax.
As I encounter life,
I relax.
I relax.
I relax.
I relax.
Good job.
You did so well today.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Taking comfort in the breath.
Allowing it to offer a complete renewal and reset to your body,
Mind and spirit.
Acknowledging that you,
In this day,
This moment,
Are enough.
Always and forever enough.
In every state,
Place,
And iteration of your being,
You are enough.
Thank you for joining me here today,
With great and deep waves of endless love from my heart to yours.
Namaste.
