This is Justin St.
Clair at Within the Within and welcome to this deeply meditative process that relaxes your body for sleep,
Delivering a great night's rest while surrounding you with peaceful rain sounds.
Relax and let go.
Be sure that your environment is quiet and that all light sources have been dimmed.
Lie down and get comfortable.
Make any adjustments you need to feel absolutely at ease.
Take a deep breath.
Now together let us call in the divine light and love of the universe that it may surround you as you fall asleep and keep you throughout the night.
Once more take a deep breath and relax.
Allow yourself to become aware of where your body is touching the bed or surface that you're lying on.
Take a deep breath in and hold it.
Focus on the sensations in your chest and exhale.
Take another deep breath and hold it.
Again focus on the sensations in your chest and exhale.
Once more take a deep breath and hold it.
Allow your mind to drift as you hold this breath and exhale and breathe normally.
Just observe the breath flowing in and out.
Notice how the body breathes itself and that you don't need to do a thing but let it happen.
Become aware of how your body feels.
Gently scan your entire body.
Whatever sensations you experience just let yourself observe them without judgment.
Notice where your head touches the pillow or surface beneath it.
Let that awareness move downwards feeling where each part of your body makes contact with the bed,
Couch or surface beneath you.
Feel the heaviness of your body.
Now move to your scalp and allow it to completely let go.
Imagine every hair follicle relaxing.
Guide to your forehead and let it smooth out and release.
Let your temples relax and your eyebrows soften.
Allow the four corners of your eyes to relax and feel your eyes sinking deep into your head.
Permit all the muscles around your nose to relax.
Become aware of your ears.
Imagine them as rose buds and allow them to bloom softening outwards and back.
Your cheeks relax and your lips let go.
Feel all the muscles in your jaw release.
Now let your tongue relax,
Feel the relaxation moving down your neck through your voice box and throat and breathe.
The warmth and tranquility moves into the shoulders easing all of the muscles relaxing the clavicle and the scapula.
Let the entire shoulder area relax.
Allow that warmth to descend into your upper arms softening the muscles and moving through the elbows and down into the lower arms.
Your wrists let go and your hands release.
Finally the fingers relax.
Notice the sensations at the tips of your fingers.
Feel the relaxation and warmth moving down your upper back into your middle back,
Lower back and sacrum.
Feel all your back muscles becoming heavy.
Take a deep breath and let your chest relax.
Feel your lungs filling with air and then letting go.
Allow the tranquility to move into your abdomen and then down into your pelvis.
Your hips open and soften and your perineum relaxes.
The thigh muscles let go becoming heavier as the relaxation moves into the knees down to the shins softening the calf muscles relaxing the ankles and at last the feet.
Feel the soles of your feet releasing and grounding.
Let all of your internal organs relax.
You feel your skin relaxing.
Your entire body is letting go.
Imagine you are slowly sinking into the surface beneath you.
Now give your mind permission to completely let go.
Your brain becomes as light as a feather and all the thoughts drift away.
Your emotions simply let go.
Relax.
Release.
Let go.
As you drift off to sleep know that whatever you need to let go of is released and all you need to know is revealed to you and whatever needs to be mended is healed.
You are blessed and safe.
You are hell.
All is well.
All is well.
All is well.
All is well.
But but but but but but.
