6th is a series of practices to relieve anxious thoughts. In this visualization, you first put yourself in a safe, comfortable, friendly place you create or recreate within an orb, make it transparent and image moving about the world in it undisturbed like Oz's Glenda Good Witch of the North. You also create a symbol that evokes these states in you and place them in places you go and people you meet. They will light up at the unconscious level as you move about in the world outside your home.

The bubble,

You can take it with you.

Please do this meditation lying down or with your arms and legs uncrossed before you sleep or before you get up in the morning.

Many years ago when I was a cigarette smoker,

I noticed that my desire to smoke ended as soon as I got on an airplane and my desire to smoke returned as soon as I got off the airplane.

The plane was a no smoking zone.

On the plane it was strictly prohibited,

Impossible to smoke.

When I eventually decided to quit smoking,

I thought it would be helpful to create a no smoking area around myself,

Around my auric field.

So I imagined putting an auric sized bowl over myself,

Kind of a room size.

And on the inside walls of the bowl,

I recreated this airplane no smoking environment by fully imagining the plane environment and the no smoking sign as if I were actually sitting there.

I created it until I was fully satisfied,

Seeing,

Hearing and feeling what I would feel on that airplane.

Feeling that in my surroundings it was so forbidden to smoke that I would even look disapprovingly at people who smelled of cigarettes.

It would be useless to want to smoke here.

I held this feeling in my body and as if I were using a light timer control or maybe a volume control or thermometer,

I turned this feeling up,

This no point in wanting a cigarette,

This feeling up to almost full blast,

Filling every cell in my body with it.

From the top of my head to the tip of my toes all the way up to my fingernails.

I doubled it so to speak and then I turned the wall of my bowl clear.

And imagine myself walking around different places encircled,

Encapsulated by my own no smoking zone.

I became a no smoking zone and this no smoking zone supported me very well as I changed my smoking behavior.

Now this is not a program for smokers.

It is a meditative creative visualization to help you relieve some anxiety.

You may want to pause the program and think about a room in your present or past that makes you feel the most safe and comfortable.

It will be our starting point.

And think about some places or people where or with whom you would like to feel more comfortable.

You can write them down if you wish.

Then unpause the program and enjoy.

While lying down with your arms and legs uncrossed in a place you will not be disturbed,

Please listen motionlessly to every word I say.

Don't move a muscle.

When creating this anxiety program I thought it might be cool to try to create a personal no worrying zone.

And you might agree because most times worrying is pretty useless.

It's useless because it doesn't change anything.

And it's wasteful.

Wasteful because we could be doing better things with our lives.

Worse of all it is uncomfortable and it robs us of many opportunities in our life.

I don't know about you but as for me I would put an opaque,

Auric size or room size tempered glass bubble around myself.

And in it I would recreate a certain room in my home,

A room where you really can feel safe,

Comfortable,

Free to be yourself and have that at home feeling.

Really it could be any room,

Anywhere as long as you feel very safe here.

In my no worrying zone,

In my opaque glass bubble I can recreate the lighting of my favorite room,

My favorite safe room where I feel completely safe.

I can recreate the lighting,

Seeing the same ceiling lights on the ceiling,

Noticing the lamps on the tables or stands or floor,

Adjust the outside light by adjusting blinds and curtains covering the window.

I would play some music player or a smart phone,

Playing my own favorite soothing sounds and adjust them to adjust the right volume.

I would also adjust the airflow speed of the air conditioner or heater to create just the right amount of white noise and would even allow some familiar sounds of nature or cars passing outside the room to filter in and join the white noise.

While seeing and hearing these things,

I would imagine the feeling of the cushions or mattress where I sit or lie,

The feeling of the covers or throws against yourself,

Even the feeling of the carpet or floor on my feet or even the house shoes on my feet.

These sights,

Sounds and textures would allow me to relax and slip gently into a safe,

Comfortable,

Free to be me at home feeling.

My no worrying zone,

My opaque glass bubble,

There I would see the shelves of my favorite room,

See the familiar things on the shelves and see the familiar walls and the familiar things on the walls,

Things that make me feel at home.

And I would hear the familiar sounds of the chair or bed or sheets when I sit down or lie down.

Maybe the sounds of my computer or perhaps a music box.

I would remember the familiar smell of the air in that room,

The smell of the blanket or throw or even the smell of last night's coffee or tea.

These sights,

Sounds and smells would allow me to relax even more deeply,

Doubling my feelings of safety and comfort,

Doubling my natural,

Free to be me at home feeling.

In my no worrying zone,

My opaque glass bubble,

You would be able to see my favorite art objects or knick knack or toy or maybe a piece of jewelry.

And what a comfort food you could hear.

The ruffle of the package of my favorite comfort food and the sound of the silverware on a cup or dish as I lift it to my mouth and enjoy its texture,

Its heat,

Its flavor.

These comfortable sights,

Sounds and tastes would all encircle me,

Encapsulate me and their images would all become 3D.

They would allow you to relax three times as deeply and triple your feelings of safety and comfort,

Quadruple my natural,

Free to be me at home feeling.

Now long forgotten memories of safety,

Comfort and freedom that already exist in my body can come out of their hiding places,

Fill you up in this no worrying zone,

The bubble.

The bubble.

A bubble in which you could float,

Float around safely like Yolanda,

The good witch of the north,

Comfortably,

Naturally and freely taking that at home feeling everywhere you go.

So when I want to take care of something or go out into the world,

The opaque walls of my no worrying zone,

The walls of the glass bubble suddenly become transparent or translucent,

Tinted with the color of safety,

Comfort,

Natural,

Free to be me.

You know,

An at home color.

While the comfortable sights,

Sounds,

Textures,

Smell and tastes remain and accompany me throughout my day.

As I walk around,

It would be just like looking at the world through rosy colored glasses,

Except my glasses would have rosy lenses.

They would not have rosy lenses.

They would have safey,

Comfy,

At homey lenses.

This way,

I could take the safe,

Comfortable,

Natural,

Free to be me at home feeling with me throughout my day.

Just hanging out in my no worrying zone during my coffee break or lunch break.

Hanging out in my no worrying zone while sitting in my car at a stop light or sitting on the train.

Hanging out in my no worrying zone while pushing a shopping cart at the store,

While having coffee with my in-laws.

Even when shaking hands with people,

It would be like reaching out through my bubble and taking their hand.

And the face they would see on me would be mine,

Looking out of my comfortable,

Safe room.

One look at my eyes,

One look at my face,

And they too would also feel safe,

Comfortable,

Natural,

Free to be themselves,

And free to make themselves at home with me.

I don't know about you,

But if I could create a symbol for that feeling,

I would choose a particular stuffed toy of mine.

My teddy bear,

Perhaps.

I would put it in my heart or belly,

And I would put it behind my nose in the mirror.

I would put it in a couple of places,

Like a desk or a counter,

A picture or a vase of flowers where I work or where I hang out a lot.

I would put it behind the noses of this friend or that friend,

And put it behind the noses of a friend of this friend and a friend of that friend.

And I'd put this symbol behind the noses of people at work.

This person at work,

Maybe that person at work.

I would put this symbol of comfort,

Safety,

Free to be me at home feeling in these people and places.

Behind the noses of one person in one place,

Another person in another place.

In that way,

The symbol in my heart would unconsciously light up,

Sound off,

Or warm up in my body as it simultaneously and unconsciously recognized itself outside in those places and those people.

At an unconscious level,

Outside my conscious awareness of either myself or others,

I would begin glowing on the inside with that safe,

Comfortable,

Natural,

Free to be me at home feeling,

So much so that others would unconsciously start recognizing those feelings in my heart and on my face.

Different people get anxious at different times and in different places with different people.

If your unconscious mind really wants to help you,

He or she can pinpoint some of those troublesome spots and place some of your symbols in those noticeable spots there.

He or she can place them there at night while you're sleeping peacefully.

Your unconscious mind can also choose places he or she wants to take your no worrying zone with you.

So sooner or later,

You can be pleasantly surprised that while the symbols are lighting up each other at the unconscious level outside your conscious awareness,

You are going about your day in a more and more relaxed and unruffled way,

Viewing the world from inside your safe,

Comfortable,

Natural,

Free to be me at home.

No worrying zone.

Safely inside the bubble,

So strong,

So even if some of those once anxious thoughts came back and tried to bother you,

They would only hit the outside of your glass bubble like a raindrop against the windshield of your car.

Splat,

Trickle down and just blow away.

All the while you are inside driving,

Dry and happy.

Again,

Here comes another one.

Splat,

Worry,

Worry,

Worry,

Splat.

Shuffle down outside and blow away while inside you're driving,

Feeling safe,

Comfortable,

Natural and free,

Feeling free to be me at home throughout your day.

You end your day with more energy and a good,

Healthy sleep.

Each time you listen to this meditated program,

These feelings grow stronger and stronger and you become more and more able to create this wonderful bubble and take it with you throughout your day.

When your unconscious mind knows what to do,

When it knows how to do it in a way that is just right for you,

When your unconscious mind agrees to do it and agrees to rehearse it again and again at the unconscious level while you're sleeping deeply and peacefully,

While you're washing your face or brushing your teeth,

While you're on your way to and from school or work,

You will agree to do it and practice it and rehearse it again and again,

10,

000 times in just a few minutes until all of this occurs naturally in your life.

Now,

You can either drift on to sleep if you're in bed or bring this feeling back with you from your meditative state back to your everyday world,

Feeling great.
