Gratitude attitude brings one in to a present moment by bringing awareness to what we we have vs. what we lack in. The goal is not to get attach to what we have but silently witness the presence of what we are grateful for. Hello everyone,

My name is Purvishah.

I welcome you to today's gratitude meditation.

Very often,

Especially when we're experiencing great difficulties,

We begin to focus on what is missing from our lives.

Appreciating what we have or being grateful for just being offers life-giving rewards.

Gratitude opens door to the creativity of the universe in that when we live our lives in gratitude,

The ego steps out of the way.

It's like gratitude has a melting effect on our egos.

This enables the abundance of the universe to follow us.

We are a vibrational beings.

Meditating with gratitude held in the heart helps us increase our vibrational frequencies.

So we can glimpse or ultimately be in a higher state of consciousness.

Cultivating gratitude consciousness also grounds us in present.

If we're grateful for everything we have in present moment,

Then the past is in the past and the future is pure potential.

All that matters is abundant universe that we experience here and now.

I invite you now to sit comfortably or lay down.

Get comfortable in close your eyes.

As you close your eyes,

Silently ask yourself the question.

What am I grateful for?

What am I grateful for?

What am I grateful for?

Allow whatever arise in your awareness to be with you for a moment.

Perhaps it is a person.

A pet.

A place you have recently visited.

A special space in your home.

A creative endower that you've been enjoying.

Or even a beautiful sunrise.

Focus on one thing that you appreciate in your life.

Just for a moment.

Contemplate how you feel when you become aware of your object of appreciation.

How does your body feel as you envision this connection?

What emotions arise?

Where do you feel these emotions in your body?

Continuing with your eyes closed,

Please release that image.

And in its place,

Begin to silently repeat the mantra,

I am gratitude.

I am gratitude.

I am gratitude.

By silently repeating this mantra,

Not only do we have a sense of feeling grateful,

But we also experience a sense of being gratitude itself.

Please continue silently repeating this mantra.

Whenever you find yourself distracted by thoughts,

Noises,

Sensation in the body,

Or anything that takes your awareness away from repeating the mantra,

Please gently return your attention back to it.

Continue to think the mantra.

Bring your attention back to mantra every time it drifts away.

Please continue meditating in this way.

The most important point to remember is that repeating the mantra is effortless.

Enjoy your meditation.

I will watch the time and let you know when it is time for you to stop.

Thank you.
