Premasudha speaks about the art of learning how to sink into our hearts and bodies, & leave tension, even PST, behind. Our bodies are often stuck in fight-or-flight mode. It can help to imagine big, gentle arms around us, comforting us. Tension comes from veils present in our bodies, arising from our early conditioning and past lives. We can train our bodies into a higher vibration through a focus on the Creator, sound, inspiring subliminal videos to help transform our unconscious self-talk, and just doing things that comfort and empower us. Meditating and sincerely wanting the truth is another way to open the door to the Creator. A daily meditation practice can help give us a stabilising structure. The bottom line in this freewheeling satsang is that we are infinitely loved by the Creator. As we feel this, we realise we can learn to receive and express unconditional love too, making the world a better place. Speaker: Renate Bott, Sri Lakshmi, Susanne Werdinger, Susan Simmons

We're following on Amma's grace.

You know the ashram is so quiet.

There's hardly anybody here.

It's like it went from being,

You could hardly walk through all the people,

To this empty and Amma didn't come for bhajans.

You know,

She got back at 7.

30 this morning.

Okay,

So she was at,

You know,

The programs at the university.

So she was there for 5 a.

M.

On the 27th.

And she got back to her room at 7.

30 in the morning,

Having hugged thousands.

And this is a 72-year-old woman.

It's just so miraculous.

So at bhajans today,

She didn't come.

Sometimes she does,

But today,

You know,

Sometimes she does after a big program like that.

But today she didn't.

But so it was quite sort of quiet and subdued.

But then afterwards,

Her voice started blasting through the ashram,

This sweet sound of her voice.

Now,

I don't know whether it was pre-recorded or whether she was singing directly from her room,

But it was like angels.

And it pervaded the whole atmosphere.

So I was just looking at,

You know,

Where the cows are,

Sort of,

They're central to the ashram where the cows are,

It's just,

It's just beautiful.

And I was just looking and all of a sudden,

It was like magic land,

You know,

It was sort of like being a kid in a fairy tale.

It was just like,

Oh,

This love.

This love is just so off the charts.

And the farther I go along,

The more I feel it,

I think that's part of what's happening.

Anyway,

This woman is so devoted to us,

If you haven't met her,

May you meet her.

And if you ever doubt that the universe is loving,

You know,

The universe has sent the Divine Mother to remind us that we're deeply loved and cared for infinitely,

Far beyond anything we could imagine.

Yeah.

And may her grace fill this satsang.

And,

You know,

Often when I feel this way,

The satsang turns out well,

But I have this feeling of not knowing where to start,

But there's some threads I'm going to start with.

So I was speaking with a dear one yesterday,

And we talked in the question and answer,

And we were talking about how she went through this period where she was holding on to me.

And,

You know,

Being parasitical in a way.

But the thing that I want to point to,

I don't mind people holding on to me.

I want to correct this.

It was this dear one,

She wasn't following my guidance.

She wanted close contact and lots of love and not follow my guidance.

And if you ever want to feel despair,

Be in a situation like that.

Yeah,

So that's,

I don't mind you guys.

You know,

In a way,

You have to lean on your teacher.

There's a way that you have to,

In a way.

And,

You know,

It's all good.

There's no criticism.

It's just part of the journey.

We just learn.

And also,

I was praising Sebastian yesterday for,

You know,

For something.

Often,

You guys,

In your journeys,

You do something really important,

And you don't realize it.

It's like there's no bells and whistles to it,

But it's the real gig.

It's the real thing.

So,

When Sebastian,

He was in,

You know,

Waiting to ask a question,

And he felt he couldn't get through.

And this was a repeat of when his mom and his brother would block him,

Not give him any room.

So,

He was present enough to notice.

You guys,

He was present enough to notice his conditioning.

Lots of you guys,

You might not even be present enough to notice it.

So,

That's why I want to highlight it.

When you're present enough to notice,

You will see repeats from your conditioning.

And he started to go into resentment,

But then he just decided to speak up anyway,

Just to kind of ignore it and speak up.

So,

He didn't let himself get caught in the storyline of his conditioning.

He didn't repeat it.

He didn't stay in a universe where he's full of resentment,

And he's blocked by people who don't care about him.

That was just tremendous work,

And it takes self-love to notice.

And being present to notice.

Yeah.

And often we do this,

And we don't even realize that this is the real meat of the journey.

That is fantastic.

It's like when you bring it into your own life,

When it's like,

You know,

You're in the theater,

And you've got a scene to do.

You've got your lines,

And the lines of the conditioning are so clear,

And it invites you to repeat the conditioning.

But you don't do that.

You do something else.

You start moving into freedom.

This is how you embody your divinity.

Yeah.

Yeah.

You see,

You guys,

We don't,

We go around,

We often feel bad about ourselves,

But this is it.

Yeah.

So,

I wanted to really highlight that,

Too.

The real journey is,

It's done in a stillness,

You know,

And being present,

And using your discernment.

And,

You know,

Saying your mantra,

You know,

If you can stay present with your life enough to say your mantra,

Then that is a tremendous achievement.

Yeah,

Even though you might feel bored and tired,

And that it doesn't really make a difference,

But it does.

A huge difference.

It just takes time.

It's just like karma,

You see.

I mean,

If we punch somebody in the nose,

We might not get it back immediately.

You know,

It might be two years later,

Where we're in a car accident,

And we get out of our car,

And somebody punches us in the nose,

Which is from the two years ago,

Do you see?

But we just go,

Oh,

I was just in a car accident,

And he was so mean to me,

He punched me in the nose.

We just get our karma,

You guys,

All of it.

Every hassle,

Everything.

The other thing I really want to point out is,

We're big on seeing our wounding,

But we often don't see that the other person involved has the same wounding.

So,

You know,

In the case where we've got clients who are agitating for us to serve them and meet their needs,

But we're overloaded,

And we feel like nobody cares about us,

We're overloaded,

But the client might feel that they're always being treated like trash,

That they're never being treated as if they're worthwhile.

But we don't include that,

We don't see it,

We just have our own storyline.

But there are always two storylines.

So,

If you can,

You know,

If your head can be flexible enough to make room for the other person's storyline,

Even if you don't agree with it,

It's like,

You know,

Put a guacamole on his shoes,

Christ said,

Or,

You know,

Put your feet in the other guy's shoes.

You'll be amazed if you use that as a modus operandi.

If you just start teaching yourself to do that,

You will learn compassion.

You will learn compassion for people,

Because you'll see,

If you do that,

You will start seeing their broken hearts.

And even if they're yelling at you,

You might see their broken heart,

And their feelings of worthlessness,

And that nobody treated them well.

You see,

Often in life,

We get the same core wounding,

But somebody is ostensibly the winner,

And somebody is ostensibly the loser.

But actually,

They're both carrying the same core wounding,

Often around feelings of worth,

Of self-worth.

So,

The,

Quote,

Winner guy moves into overachievement to prove,

And the,

Quote,

Loser guy is a guy who,

You know,

Does the opposite thing on the polarity,

Doesn't play the game,

Rebels,

Does drugs,

Whatever.

But there's an underlying feeling of worthlessness in both.

Yeah,

We're getting,

You know,

Our suitcases are so armored,

Even.

We've got shells.

I mean,

We're getting bigger and bigger shells,

You guys.

Except the people in Pramasutra's satsang.

One small step for the people in the satsang,

And a big step for humankind.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Right.

Because we're going to have to start doing this.

I mean,

We're just starting early,

But the whole world is going to have to turn this way.

Yeah,

You know,

Part of the confusion around the spiritual journey is everything is love.

So,

Amma says the substrata is love.

So,

Even though there are multiple objects that you see,

They're all made out of love.

Just like gold ornaments that we women might wear,

Or guys too.

It's all made,

They're different shapes,

But they're all made out of gold.

Yeah,

It's love at the bottom of everything.

And that's why,

If you want to be a really powerful person,

You start getting interested in unconditional love.

Because the more you clear your ego,

The more powerful you become.

Yeah,

And real power,

Not the fake posturing power of the ego.

You know,

Something that happened with me,

Sometimes I get these shifts that show,

Like when I've made a leap into more love power.

So,

When I was,

And this,

I can never test this one.

Sometimes I can test,

But in this case,

I can't really test it.

But I'll tell you about it anyway.

I was coming back from Amma's birthday,

Just,

You know,

In the morning,

Just to take a small break.

And there were really a lot of people.

And it was like,

You know,

I'd been walking for about an hour at this point,

Trying to get out.

And there was,

I was suddenly shocked to see a guy without any arms,

And he was begging.

Or he had some weird shaped limb,

But I guess that he could take the money with.

But he was really,

You know,

A disabled guy.

And I was so shocked.

I was just so shocked by this.

And,

You know,

Hot.

That I just kind of ignored him and just walked by.

Yeah,

And afterwards,

It stuck with me,

This fellow.

So,

You know,

And I talked to Amma about it.

And I suddenly got this flow of energy,

And it was to put a thousand rupees in one of Amma's donation boxes and set the intent that a thousand rupees gets to this guy somehow.

And I had the feeling that it would be somebody walking by who wasn't going to give him any money,

Wasn't going to give any money.

But suddenly,

They decide to.

And it was actually a passing of the money that I gave to Amma.

Yeah,

In a really big way,

You guys.

Can you get that?

In a really big way.

Now,

I really know it's true.

I really know this guy is going to get this money.

It is just,

I know it like I've known all along,

All the things,

Like that my son would live and all that.

I've got the same feeling about it.

But it's a new development.

This is a new,

This is a quantum leap for Prama Sutta.

And it's like,

You know,

If you do,

We complain about the air and how hard it all is and to come out of it or not playing it and,

You know,

Depression.

And they are part of the journey.

But you guys really keep the intent to find out what love is.

Keep that really strong.

Right.

It's that stuff,

You know,

Because like Prama Sutta was not a good spiritual student in lots of ways.

I was very rebellious.

Really rebellious,

Very opinionated,

But I really wanted to know what love was more than anything else.

Yeah.

And I also,

The other thing is,

You guys,

I don't know if you do this,

But really,

I even got a message not long ago saying,

Prama Sutta,

There is no reward apart from just is-ness.

Sinking into the is-ness of unconditional love.

And when you do that,

All your desires die.

You don't want anything.

You don't care.

You couldn't care less.

Yeah.

But with our conditioning,

And this is something that,

You know,

Like I said,

The universe almost worked with me.

Sometimes I do that,

Like,

Well,

If I do this and this,

I'll get this and this.

You know,

It's like,

Okay,

If I move into love,

My dreams will come true.

Well,

Yeah,

They will,

But it might be different than your ego's storyline.

The ego's storyline is just so useless.

It's just sinking into the love.

The fighting stops.

Some of you guys are fighters.

You're big fighters.

Yeah.

Sink into the love,

You know.

You sure feel all the stuff,

Journal about it,

But then take the step to sink into the love.

You know,

Don't deny the fighting,

But when you're caught in it,

Just go,

Okay,

I don't want to stay here.

I don't want to stay in this.

This is just ego.

It's just no good.

Right.

Sink into the love.

Right.

This is reaching you.

With Sama's grace.

You know,

Sometimes we might feel tense or scared,

But if you can just,

You know,

Like not try to fix or anything,

But just do something to comfort yourself and remind yourself to sink into this love.

You know,

When you do it,

It's a little bit like walking in water in a good way.

You know,

If you ever walked in water when you're,

Say it's up to your chest,

You're walking.

It's thicker when you come into the love.

It's thicker.

The air feels thick with it.

Your body feels heavier in a good way,

Like relaxed.

You don't get so irritated.

By noises and everything,

You're just.

You guys,

I've written a poem.

I don't know if I'll send the poem with this one,

But this video,

But it's talking about to get on the journey,

We have to give up our pride.

Okay.

Carlos Castaneda calls it self-importance.

He said that's the hardest thing for human beings to get over,

Self-importance.

And,

You know,

We have these bodies that we have to take care of.

And if we don't take care of our bodies,

We'll die,

You know.

But we've taken it to the nth degree,

You know.

I mean,

We think about ourselves all the time.

Come on.

Endlessly,

Do you think,

Do you notice your thoughts during the day?

You'll be thinking about yourself a lot.

Self-importance and pride.

Pride.

It's like,

You know,

Because we have to get really humble like a little child to grow.

You have to get really,

Really humble.

Utterly helpless and let the universe help you.

And in our culture,

Where we've all learned to be so tough,

This is a challenge.

And in the cultures where it's kind of like any smell of weakness is attacked.

You don't have to talk about it or show it.

You just have to go through it internally.

It's kind of utter helplessness and turning to the creator.

You know,

Just about the following guidance.

There is a really dear one that I knew about 10 years ago.

This guy had an absolute heart of gold.

And I was getting really strong messages that he would make a great body worker.

He'd been working with computers and was fed up.

He was quite lost.

I got overwhelming that he would,

I could see it.

A great body worker.

Then he just ignored the guidance.

And I'm like,

He didn't follow up.

He didn't do any,

He didn't do anything about it.

And I went,

Oh God,

He walked right past his doorway into his true life.

He just walked right past it.

And it was even spelled out for him.

Yeah.

And he kept coming for sessions and it was like,

But he was missing it.

So it fell apart because,

It fell apart because he wasn't,

He wasn't open.

So like,

You know,

It didn't work for us to work together anymore.

But it was,

I was so sad about that.

You know,

Because the body work was my doorway into this work.

And he would have done,

He would have done so much good.

Because he had such love in his heart.

And if he touched people's bodies,

He'd be able to get through their armor.

He'd be able to wake people up,

Right,

Left and center.

Yeah.

So you guys don't do that.

Okay.

Don't do that.

Yeah.

You know,

I followed all the guidance,

You know,

I followed,

I was pretty biddable.

I followed guidance,

You know.

And it always,

There was,

I could always,

Like,

Sometimes I couldn't see the reason for it,

But I followed it and then I saw the reason.

Yeah,

Because you see,

The teacher sees more.

And it's like,

This is where we have to have the innocence of the child.

Yeah.

You guys,

I want you to think about something.

I think many of you fill your lives,

Your thoughts of your day with kind of a sad story.

Kind of stories of unfulfillment,

Of where your needs aren't getting met.

You know,

Your childhoods,

Your circumstance.

And I think it's sometimes pretty gray.

And it's not necessary.

It's really not necessary.

It's like,

It's sort of like a gray shroud.

Now,

This will be,

The reason it's coming up in your thoughts is,

It's a veil that's carried in the cells of your body and in you psychologically.

So,

When you step back and notice this,

And you decide to let Amma bring more light into your life,

Or even have some more flower petals strewn across your path,

You know.

A little bit lighter.

Just notice your thoughts and correct.

Because you see,

We create,

We create it.

You know,

If we ruminate about the stuff,

We create more and more of it.

And then the sun doesn't come in.

The light of love can't come in.

That's why,

You know,

In the East,

They talk about the mantra so much,

Like japa.

That is considered like the number one tool,

Because if you can find the will to keep saying the japa,

You are connecting to your creator.

You're connecting to the creator.

You're saying,

I want to open the door,

Creator.

Please open the door.

And you're having the will to keep saying it.

And I'll tell you,

The door will open and light will come.

But,

You know,

It could be three months of saying japa.

And this is the trouble.

It's like three months.

It's like it's a long time to wait.

It's hard to see cause and effect.

Like later on on your journey,

It'll be like just hours.

You'll see the effect in hours.

But earlier,

It might take a lot of japa to have an effect.

But it's sort of like,

It's just like,

You know,

Getting punched in the nose.

If you punch somebody in the nose,

Eventually it will come back.

Same with japa.

If you say it,

Just even,

You know,

Even if you do,

Like Amma said,

Like,

You know,

If you can do 108 times a day,

Just do that every day.

I'm just,

You guys,

I'm just wanting to help you.

And inspire you.

And encourage you.

And you,

You know,

You're not bad.

And you're not the worst student.

Some of you think you're the worst.

You're not.

This is what we're like.

Really,

We're like this.

I mean,

Part of the reason Prama Sutta had such a hard time was I didn't meditate much.

So,

The universe,

But I really wanted to move into truth.

So,

I would get it through trauma.

Truly,

You guys,

That's how it works.

If you don't meditate and you really want truth,

You'll get trauma.

If you want truth and you meditate,

That will open the door to,

That will gently open the door to the creator.

And Amma says that if you,

A meditation practice will,

It can hold you during rocky times.

The habit can hold you.

So,

Prama Sutta had nothing to hold her.

So,

She just went through these incredibly rocky times.

You see,

To someone like Prama Sutta,

To any serious student,

The spiritual journey is a matter of life and death.

Yeah.

And to a less serious student,

It's not.

And the less committed,

The more casual you get.

But any teacher,

You know,

Real teacher,

They'll be pretty life and death about it because that's what got them to being a teacher.

That's what got them through their ego,

Was taking it really to their hearts.

I saw a funny thing.

I saw a woman taking great care explaining to another woman about how to do Prasad.

She took so much care,

Like almost,

You know,

It looked like almost too much,

But still,

You know,

I mean,

It was,

She was,

It was lovely,

Lovely,

Tremendous care.

So,

Then the helper went away.

And the woman realized that she had to take her sandals off.

She hadn't,

The helper hadn't explained that to her.

And this woman turned to me with huge vitriol and said,

She didn't tell me that I had to take my shoes off.

She told me everything else,

But not that,

About my shoes.

And I'm like,

I'm like,

I just was kind of shocked.

I mean,

I didn't,

I didn't really respond.

I didn't want to get in a conversation with her.

But I was struck how she twisted the kindness of this woman and made it into,

You know,

That somehow she'd been wronged.

You see,

This woman had just been incredibly kind.

But the other woman turned it into,

Do you know what she did?

We have to watch this stuff,

You guys.

You know,

The great thing about being around Amma is she loves us so much.

That is getting stronger.

She's showing it more and more and more in every single way.

It is just being poured out of her all the time.

So,

I wish,

You know,

Pramasutra wishes that you guys would feel that more for me.

Like,

I don't know,

Like,

Pramasutra is not Amma.

I mean,

I'm unlovable,

We're all Amma.

But,

You know,

I'm aware that I've got a little bit of,

I don't know,

Thou shalt.

Kind of thou shalt do this,

Thou shalt do that.

But you guys,

It comes out of care for you because I'm trying to save you time.

And,

Yeah,

And also I don't want you to get hurt by,

You know,

It's like the spiritual journey is really like playing in a nuclear reactor.

You activate very deep things within you.

So,

You want to be able to handle it all.

So,

That's where this guidance comes from,

You know,

Because Pramasutra got burned a lot.

And maybe the time will come where there'll be so much love in Pramasutra's voice that I won't even have to instruct you guys.

You'll just hear my voice and you'll just be instantly enlightened,

Wouldn't that be nice?

Who knows what's going to happen,

You guys.

There's so much love coming out of Amma,

Who knows.

Sometimes I think that the whole ashram might achieve enlightenment.

The other thing is,

You know how Amma says that the people around her sometimes,

They get stuck in their egos because she's like a big lighthouse,

So it casts a big shadow.

But you know what I think,

Pramasutra,

I think Amma would give them enlightenment before they die.

You know,

I think that's kind of a very Amma-esque thing that she might do for all the people who are helping,

Even if they get caught in their egos.

Yeah.

Is there anything that you guys want me to talk about,

Or you have a question?

Is there anything that you want more light shone on?

I feel a little bit like,

Do this,

Do that,

Do this today,

So,

You know,

Like a,

A bit,

I don't know,

Lots of,

I don't want to over-instruct.

I have a question,

Pramasutra.

Oh,

Good,

Good,

Good.

Yes,

Please.

You said,

Yeah,

You said something we could do that we are not so often irritated,

Um,

Perhaps by noises or things like this,

But I,

I didn't understand what you said before.

What can we do that we are not so often irritated?

Sinking into love.

Yeah.

Yeah,

Because when you do that,

Sink into it,

It's like you come out of your head and you sink into your heart more,

You sink into your body,

You,

You move from the head.

You guys,

Most of us,

Our thrones are in our heads.

Just even,

You know,

You know,

Nothing,

Like if we get irritated with noise and everything,

I mean,

It makes life so horrible.

It was yesterday evening in the nice bachchan for Amma's birthday.

The drum was so loud,

I,

It was terrible for me,

So I couldn't enjoy the whole evening.

Oh no,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Sweetie.

Oh,

Sorry,

Go.

Very often,

The noise is too much for me,

Very often.

Yeah,

There's some parts of the journey where,

You know,

Dealing with noise or dealing with other people are very difficult,

You know?

Yeah.

Yeah,

But even if you know that you,

You have a choice to sink into your heart,

That it's possible to sink down and not be so bothered.

It's like motherhood,

You know,

If you get edgy,

Like if I was edgy,

The day was terrible,

But if I,

If I could just think into the love more for my boys,

We'd have a good day.

Even if they were,

Like,

Still doing irritating things.

Take it to Amma.

It's,

You see,

You guys,

Actually,

You see,

Our nervous systems have to be recalibrated.

This is part of it.

We have to recalibrate our nervous systems to sink down.

I mean,

Some of you guys are,

Jenna's doing some work with sound and,

You know,

Things like sound,

It's very,

It's hopeful because most of us have got PST,

You know,

Post-traumatic stress,

Really.

We're walking around.

PST cases.

What is this,

Except PST?

Yeah,

Post-traumatic stress.

Most of us are,

Like,

Your response with the drugs,

Drums,

It's kind of like what happens through with the post-traumatic stress.

When our bodies are,

When our bodies are stuck on fight or flight,

You guys,

This is where we get stuck.

Fight or flight.

And then we get irritable.

And the solution is to sink down into the love,

Just sink into your heart.

And,

You know,

If you keep thinking about it and asking Amma to help you make it happen,

It will happen.

I promise you.

This is the kind of thing Premasuddha did.

Yeah.

Or imagine,

You know,

Big gentle arms around you to calm you.

You,

It is,

It is possible to work with your bodies.

Like,

You know,

Premasuddha is really,

Really calm now.

But I wasn't at all.

And we,

We have,

There's no answer for everybody.

You know,

Some people really do well with sound.

I did really well with subliminal,

Uplifting kind of tapes.

Those really helped me.

We've all got something that will help.

Animals help.

But anything that can get you out of that tortured nervous system,

So that you can begin to tap into your divinity,

Because it's that tortured nervous system that makes us fighty.

We get fighty with everything,

Argumentative,

Intolerant with people.

The other thing you could do is just watch yourself be irritated by the drum,

You know,

And just witness it.

And sometimes if you just keep witnessing it,

It actually starts dissolving.

And you just find yourself that you're not being bothered anymore.

But it's not the drummer's fault,

You guys.

We tend to do this.

We'll tend to blame the other person.

It's really our fault.

Like,

Think of it,

Not,

It's not even a fault thing.

Think of it as your nervous system is your problem.

If it's heightened and you're antsy,

That's your problem to take to Amma for help.

It's not for everybody else to walk around tiptoe around you.

Yeah,

That's a good point.

Yeah,

The taking responsibility.

Good,

Good,

Good,

Sweetie.

When you get that,

That will be freeing.

That's freeing.

I get that.

Very good.

Yes.

Well done.

Blessings.

Thank you.

Happy.

So what a blessing.

Yeah,

Thank you.

We all have our idiosyncratic ways,

You guys.

And don't diss yourselves for,

You know,

Your own way of doing the spiritual journey.

It's such an individual thing.

And the way we work with ourselves,

It's very,

Very individual.

You know what Premasutha would do?

I would read about some spiritual stuff.

It'd be one of my books with the Himalayan yogis.

And I'd read about this step.

And then I'd just do it.

But this is what I want to say to you guys.

I just did it.

I went,

OK,

I want to do that.

I'd say to the universe,

Like I didn't even say to Amma that I want to do it.

I mean,

I just wanted to do it.

I set my will.

I'm going to learn how to do that.

And then I would be brought into being shown how to do that.

You guys,

We can make such a,

If we take responsibility for our journey,

We can make enormous headway in our own idiosyncratic way.

Right.

And the more you want it,

The faster it will come.

You're the God,

You see.

You know,

It's just when we're wearing our virtual reality glasses that we think that we're these,

You know,

Dorky human beings,

You know,

When we're like infinite.

And,

You know,

We're manifesting.

They're even getting those.

Now we're getting like glasses that we can wear virtual reality for like our phones and taking pictures.

And I mean,

We're manifesting this stuff.

I mean,

That's how that's how creative we are.

It's kind of like scary,

But the whole world sort of walking off a cliff where everybody's wearing glasses.

They're all walking off the cliff.

They don't see it.

I don't think Prima Sutta is going to get a pair of those glasses.

I just don't think so.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Everybody in the satsang has a heart of gold.

Notice if you argued with that.

Notice if you went,

Oh,

She doesn't know me.

I do.

I do.

Everybody's got a heart of gold.

They do.

You're an extreme in this world today.

You're point zero zero zero zero zero one.

The people interested in being in truth and finding their hearts.

Yeah.

It's pretty cool.

You guys.

I'm not flattering you either.

I'm just reminding you.

Just reminding you.

So you don't get caught in these gray thoughts.

Or you can watch yourself get caught in your gray thoughts.

I remember when it was a big red flag,

Actually,

When Peter and I started going out.

And I remember there was one point where I made a list of my achievements,

Because I was beginning,

Even though we were,

I guess we were living together.

I was starting to get,

You know,

That run down the self-esteem.

I was losing my self-esteem.

He was a very critical Englishman.

And I wrote down a list of all my achievements and read them to him.

And I just remember that.

I remember doing that.

And it's such a red flag for,

You know,

Get out of that relationship.

But I married him.

I married him.

So I know all about gray thoughts,

You guys.

But they're not the truth.

They're a veil that your bodies are carrying.

That the cells of your body are carrying.

It's a veil.

And when you clear that veil from your bodies,

Your thoughts will become lighter.

Yeah,

This is the truth of it.

I'm wanting to remind you,

You don't get hypnotized by the veil,

By the content of your thoughts.

It's good.

Can you hear me,

Shideh?

Yeah,

Go for it.

Just resonating,

I just wanted to mention that I remember some years ago becoming aware that there were some veils and realizing that those were put there as a safety.

And that I did not want to remove them until I had the right teacher.

And I wasn't there yet.

I knew I wasn't ready.

And that's all I had to say.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Is it scary?

It can be destabilizing.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But when they went,

They went.

Yeah.

And there's probably more.

And I'll keep looking.

Yes.

Well,

Yeah,

It's just kind of,

It's sort of like,

You know,

If you've had a thousand lives,

There may be a thousand veils.

You know,

It's kind of.

But maybe not that many.

I don't know.

But yeah,

That's a good point.

You don't want to try and fix it.

You know,

You don't want to do,

You don't want to operate.

You don't want to do your own operations till you're really got a lot of know-how.

Yeah.

Most times we need a lot of help at the beginning.

But just hearing this is help.

You guys coming to Satsang is help.

Being reminded of this is help.

Yeah.

You know,

If you're really sincere about growing,

Your soul does it for you.

Amma does it.

She'll lift things off you as you're ready.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Has anybody ever had a breakthrough dream where you're dreaming and then you realize that you're dreaming and that you can control your dream and then you just start steering the dream?

Has anybody done that?

Hello,

Everybody.

Yeah.

I steer the light in the moment and I do my mantra in my sleep.

So Stefan could hear my mantra during I sleep.

Wow.

Yeah.

Wow.

So interesting.

Yeah.

That's what happens,

Guys.

That's the reward of the constant effort.

Then you see you get the reward and this happens.

Like Suzanne then gets this extra help during her sleep where this work is being done.

That's fantastic.

Wow.

Poster girl for this week.

This week's achievement medal.

No,

Really.

That's wonderful.

Fantastic.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Good.

Good.

Yeah.

Because I had a dream once where I woke up and I realized that I was being driven in a car by my sister and I realized that I could take over the steering wheel.

I woke up in the dream and took over the steering wheel and it was such a beautiful example of what I'm talking about.

You wake up and you take control of your life.

Yeah.

I've been sitting.

My sister was,

You know,

She was a symbol of my unconscious.

I was letting my unconscious steer my life.

This is what most of us do,

You guys.

We just let the old unconscious patterns steer us.

Yeah.

Or family patterns,

Even.

Sometimes we can accept a family,

The pattern of a family member from another generation and live that out.

And we think it's our own lives.

I've told you about my brother,

Whose name was Phillip.

And we had an Uncle Phillip who moved down to the US and did certain things.

And my brother's moved down to the US and he's done all the same things.

Yeah.

You can have your own life.

It's when your heart starts steering your life.

You wake up and you start taking ownership of your life.

You realize nobody else can do it for you.

And you realize that if you don't take ownership,

You're going to keep steering round and round in these old,

Unfulfilling patterns.

Ramezudah,

I have a comment to make.

Yeah,

Please.

Who's that?

Susan.

Oh,

Susan,

Sweet one.

Yeah,

Go ahead.

Yes,

Thank you.

I'm,

Yes,

Take control of my life,

Ha,

Ha,

Ha.

I had decided one year that I was not going to go to San Ramon and not going to go to the retreat in June.

And in the middle of the night,

A white Volkswagen came,

Driven by a certain very important woman,

Amma.

And she had me get in the car and she drove.

I kept trying to wake myself up.

I'm with Amma,

I'm with Amma.

But I was kind of leaning against the armrest and the window.

And then she dropped me off in the Amma shop in San Ramon and immediately took a phone call and was off.

She said,

You cannot stay home just because you don't have a ride here.

I gave you a ride.

You are coming in June.

Like that was a dream.

Was that a dream or did that happen?

That was a dream.

Okay,

Just checking.

Yeah,

Okay.

It certainly appeared real to me.

Yeah,

Well,

So your soul came in.

Yeah,

But you made room for your soul to come in and give you a directive like that.

There was.

It's like,

Oh,

Let me off at the scarves.

I love scarves.

I always go and look at the scarves when I'm there.

Thank you.

You give me a reason to go.

Amma wants me to go.

Also,

The reason I get a scarf,

But yes.

And so I went.

Yeah,

Good.

I love it.

See,

This is when I say to you guys,

Your soul does it.

Your soul will get you where you need to go.

And if you start going off,

Your soul will give you a correction.

Totally.

You will get a correction.

Yeah.

Beautiful.

Susan,

How fulfilling that must have been.

Oh,

Yes.

Every detail is still with me when I am trying to make a decision.

Am I going to Amma or not?

It's like,

Well,

Yes,

I am.

Let's work this out.

Yeah.

Yeah,

Good.

Good.

I mean.

Sometimes I go to her when I'm when I'm saying or listening to the 108 names.

That's how she was.

Sometimes I go to her in my being when I'm saying or listening to 108 names.

So it doesn't have to be physical going there.

No,

Good.

So I'm just interested.

Why would you even have a struggle about going to see Amma?

It's so interesting to me that you'd even think about not going.

Well,

This was 20 years ago,

But it was back when either I'd go with my daughter or I'd go with my friend or I would go I would go with someone from our community and we would go together and we would share a room.

And it was something where I was not.

I was not making the decision on my own.

And so Amma gave me the ability to make the decision on my own.

She came in so strongly.

But it's also you.

Like it's Amma,

But it's you.

I want you to realize that.

It's your soul.

Pictured as Amma.

And also Amma,

But Amma is our soul personified here.

Like she's not other.

She's not like the Pope.

She's not other.

She's us.

She's the truth of us.

She is the substratum of us.

Yeah,

Please.

Sometimes we get a bit religious with this.

We turn her into the Pope.

We make her other.

But she's showing us our own infinite potential.

Which is love.

And that's what I shared with everyone I ran into when I was there.

I didn't have to bring someone with me that I knew I loved.

That's it.

That's it.

It's good.

It's good.

Good.

Yeah,

I'm just getting that feeling to sink into the Amma within you.

Sink in.

Yeah.

For all of you.

It's a real theme for this satsang.

And partly because it's been so strong at her birthday.

The love.

It's just.

Yeah.

It's very beautiful.

Thank you,

Susan,

For all of that.

And Suzanne,

All of you guys who've spoken up.

Thank you.

It's all very,

Very beautiful what you've said.

Yeah,

You're so precious,

You guys.

Anybody who's had a child,

You know how precious those little ones are.

And we're precious to Amma,

To our souls,

Times infinitely.

I was surprised once when Amma said that she worried.

Sometimes she worries about us,

But she would worry about individuals.

And I was thinking,

Why would she worry?

Because she knows what's going to happen anyway.

But,

You know,

So what I did with that is I thought,

Well,

She's a human mother.

She's going to worry.

Mother is worried.

And Pramod Sudha,

I don't worry about you guys.

But you're in my heart.

My heart goes out to you.

And I see your struggles.

Yeah.

Right.

I do.

I really,

I see and I feel your struggles.

Yeah,

And that's part of why I get instructive.

It's like,

Oh,

Guys.

But being instructive doesn't always help.

So it's quite interesting teaching.

I'll tell you.

It's quite teaching.

It's quite interesting.

Has anybody else got any comments or questions or anything?

All of you guys could relax more.

Yeah.

You know,

Michael,

When he first came to me,

He was breathing shallowly.

And this is what we did as kids.

And lots of us are still doing it.

Yeah.

And sometimes we're scared to sort of sink into ourselves and take deep breath.

But you've got nothing to lose.

Nothing.

The being tense is hard on our bodies.

And it makes us difficult to live with.

The most important thing is just kind of praying and trying,

Doing your best.

You know,

Human beings,

You guys,

You know,

Really,

On some levels,

Even our absolute best often is not very good.

And I'll tell you,

I promise you,

Our,

The creator knows this and doesn't expect perfection.

It,

Even a half-baked effort is sometimes all that's needed.

Just that effort.

Just the effort.

And when the creator sees that you're making the constant,

Consistent effort,

Then you,

You get a breakthrough.

Don't have to be perfect.

Please,

Please,

Please,

Please.

Don't,

You don't.

At all.

You know what?

51% is great.

51% will do it.

49% won't.

But 51% is good enough.

Just do your best.

And remember with Susan's dream of Amma coming and picking her up in the car.

This is what happens.

If you,

If your journey requires you,

Listen,

If your journey required you to be on the moon,

Your soul would find you,

Find a way to get you on your,

On the moon.

I promise you.

Your soul will find a way to get you where you need to do,

Where you need to go.

All you have to do is keep this prayerful attitude.

Witness yourself as much as possible and just do your best.

I'll tell you,

Prima Sutta feels flawed.

Really,

You guys,

I feel flawed.

It's not like,

You know,

I'm just,

I feel like flawed,

But like I'm really happy and I'm really peaceful and I can do things that I couldn't do before.

But we're all human,

You know.

I was,

Once went up for a hug with Amma.

I was really struggling with horrible thoughts and she basically signaled me that don't worry about the thoughts.

Forget it.

Just don't worry about them.

Just don't worry about them.

It's not important.

And she got through to me this embrace,

This kind of love for me got through,

I got it from her.

She knew that I was working with these thoughts.

I was doing my best with it.

She just kind of went,

Yeah,

Forget about it.

Don't worry about it.

You're very lovable.

Then all the thoughts went.

That's kind of how it is,

You guys.

We're like little toddlers.

Have you ever,

Any mother who's had a toddler kid make her a Mother's Day breakfast?

And your heart's so touched by this burnt toast or spilled cornflakes or whatever.

You're just so touched.

You don't care.

You don't care about the burnt toast.

It's what the child,

The heart of the child,

What they're trying to communicate.

It is the same with us.

This is the most golden thing that I've said today,

This,

About it's like the heart of the child.

It's like a little child making breakfast for mom and even turning the kitchen into the biggest chaotic mess.

She won't care.

Her heart will be just so touched.

It's the same with the creator.

Please get this.

Right.

It's really,

Really true what I'm saying,

You guys.

Yeah.

A lot of what goes on in our families and everything,

It just reflects the creator.

You know how it said like Christ is,

Jesus is the God in God's form.

It's like our love for the children is like a tiny reflection of God's love.

A lot of stuff is like a tiny reflection of the creator's energy.

It's not separate from us,

You guys.

It's right,

Right,

Right,

Close,

Close,

Close,

Close,

Right in,

Super close to you.

Yeah,

Super,

Super close.

And then when you get that,

You'll sink into it,

And you'll stop fighting,

And your nervous system will recalibrate.

That's good.

That's good.

It's very good.

I'm feeling some,

Some deep trust,

You know.

That's what happens when you move into deep trust,

Your nervous system recalibrates.

Yeah.

Well,

You guys,

It's an absolute joy.

And like I said,

You know,

It started,

I just had a few threads,

But look what happened.

So,

I just want to thank you all for coming,

And remember that you're so blessed.

I think of you so often,

Yeah,

And send blessings,

And I hold you so close to me,

Yeah,

All of you,

And some of you,

You know,

Even if you're not speaking that much,

I'm still holding you really,

Really close to my heart,

Yeah,

Right.

We're all in this together,

You guys.

We're all in this together.

You know,

Maybe we meet on the other side,

You know,

When the time comes,

And we'll just laugh,

We'll belly laugh.

Okay.

Many,

Many blessings,

You guys.

See you next week,

I hope.

Okay,

Bye.
