For centuries,
Human beings thought that the sun circled the earth.
It was kind of an image of sort of self-importance that got skewered when Capernes came along in the 1400s and followed by Galileo in the 1500s and they said,
Ah,
It isn't that the sun goes around the earth,
It's the earth circles the sun.
So I feel we're at the very same point spiritually on the earth right now.
We're at this point where we need to get that it isn't that we have souls,
You know,
That human beings are the boss of things,
That we,
You know,
We have souls.
It's more like our souls have us and the center of power is in with the soul,
Not with the human being.
We come here to learn and,
You know,
We'll learn no matter what.
We might be kicking and screaming the whole way,
But if the soul comes and,
You know,
In your lifetime wants you to learn something,
You'll learn it.
And the sooner you can turn and open up to your soul,
The easier the lesson gets.
It's sort of like when we make the shift from we have souls to,
Oh,
It's our souls have us,
Our souls are the boss,
Then we can learn how to learn more easily.
We start learning like with one eye,
Like a pregnant woman really who lives with one eye on her inner experience and one eye on her outer.
Yeah,
So that we include what our soul wants.
We listen because right now,
You know,
The earth,
We're at this tipping point.
We have so many problems,
You know,
Overpopulation,
This mental illness epidemic,
The addiction epidemic,
You know,
Mother Nature is screaming,
But,
You know,
Difficulties come to wake us up,
To make us turn to the creator,
To our souls.
So as soon as we do that,
Then our souls or the creator will relax,
They'll back off,
They'll give us space.
It's like a parent with a child,
The parent will apply pressure on the child until the child,
You know,
Gets out of bed in the morning of a school day,
You know,
It's kind of non-negotiable.
Same with our souls.
Our souls have learnings they wish to happen.
And right at this time on the earth,
Increasingly,
Our existence is going to get very sorrowful and uncomfortable unless we open up and live this way.
One eye on the inside,
Listening to our hearts,
The still small voice,
And one eye on the outside dealing with the external realities.
And when you live this way,
It gets more seamless.
It gets like a river,
You flow.
And there's not such a difference between the inside and the outside,
They kind of merge.
And it's a happy way to live.
You know,
Just about the issue of problems getting smaller as you turn and face them,
Start listening to your soul.
There's an eastern story about this,
Where two men wanted enlightenment and they asked us,
They were both sitting under trees and a saint was going by and they asked the saint to go to God and ask how long they would have to wait till they achieved enlightenment.
And so the saint did that and came back and he said,
Well,
God said that you'll have as many lifetimes as are leaves on the tree until you reach enlightenment.
So both had full leaves,
Like trees full of leaves.
So,
You know,
Both of them looked and went,
Well,
One of them went and went,
Oh no,
Well,
Then it's hopeless,
I give up.
And he just forgot the whole thing,
You know,
Got up and left.
And the other one looked and he said,
Well,
He flipped all the leaves.
He went,
Well,
That's not that bad.
You know,
I'll just keep going.
You know,
Enlightenment will come.
And with that all the leaves fell from the tree and he achieved enlightenment.
This is a metaphor for the difference our attitude makes.
So I know most of us have been trained in the West to look outside ourselves,
But,
You know,
You can pray for help to learn.
And,
You know,
Because it's pretty desperate times,
Our souls will be really helping us.
And there's a lot of angels and guides and wise people in the world,
You know,
Really powerful,
Love powerful people who you can call on,
You know,
For help.
Okay.
You know,
It's easier than it sounds,
You know,
You'll get helped.
Okay.
She's kind of relieved to turn inside rather than fighting it.
Okay.
Bless your hearts.
