There are a couple more post scripts to all of this.
One is John was slow to talk,
But when he did start talking,
He spoke in full sentences.
And he was three and a half.
And I guess it'd be like,
You know,
Three years since this whole illness started.
And I was putting him to bed one night and he turned and looked at me and said,
Mummy,
You are the moon in my nighttime and the sunshine in my day.
This is from a three year old.
You know,
All I can think is that he was just expressing his understanding that I stood with him when he was sick,
That I stood for his life.
And he was saying thank you with that.
That's all I can think about that,
Like,
Because he was three.
The other thing,
My younger son,
When he reached about,
Again,
Two,
I guess two and a half,
Three.
And again,
He started talking in full sentences when he started talking.
So one day he was talking about how he missed his sister and I'm like,
Oh,
You know,
You don't have a sister.
And he said,
Yes,
I do.
Yes,
I do.
And his face,
He got this long sort of dreamy look,
You know,
Sort of like gazing long into the distance and dreamlike.
And he,
You know,
Mentioned his sister again.
And,
You know,
I started asking him questions at that point.
And so anyway,
It ended up that he ended up describing this life in a cold country.
My sense was maybe Finland,
But he,
You know,
He's in another country.
But anyway,
He talked about living in a one room cottage shack,
Really,
With just one door and he lived there with his sister and they had a dog sled.
I had asked,
You know,
How do you move about?
And he said,
You know,
A sled.
And I said,
How does it move?
He said,
Dogs.
I said,
How many?
He said,
Five,
Which is the number of dogs for a sled.
Anyway,
You know,
He described,
You know,
Looking for food and that they were surrounded by trees.
And,
You know,
It was cold and snowy,
A lot.
And how much he loved his sister.
It was very moving.
So,
You know,
Those things,
The miracle healing of leukemia and then this past life story coming from this little toddler,
It's like I started on the spiritual journey at that point.
And there's one other thing.
It's about,
You know,
My husband at the time,
You know,
Getting mad at me and calling me Pollyanna for siding with our son's life.
For a long time,
I didn't really know what to make of that because I knew he really loved John.
So I couldn't understand why he wasn't siding with his life.
But what I've realized,
You know,
In time and with years of experience is there's some people with such broken hearts that they dare not open their heart.
They dare not take a step into trust that there's bigger meaning here on earth,
That there's something bigger going on than we might realize.
So they stay,
You know,
The doors stay shut.
It's like an acorn that doesn't sprout into the great oak.
And these people,
Their hearts are the most broken because they can't find the courage to,
You know,
Just face life and trust that there's a beneficent point to all of this.
Because I know he really loved our son.
Okay,
I think this is the last video about the subject.
Thank you for listening and,
You know,
Just it is feels wonderful to tell this story.
And may it help.
Okay,
Many blessings.
