Why don't you just come,

Come into your heart and rest a while.

Leave that churning,

Conflicted,

Talking intellect for a while.

Leave it to its own devices.

It will get along fine without you.

And come into your heart.

Just sink into your heart.

Sink into your body.

It's here in your body,

Right in the center of your body,

Where your humanity and your eternal being meet.

A lot of wisdom and truth can come to you as you learn to rest in your heart.

Just rest in it.

Listen.

There's so much guidance and illumination wanting to come to you.

And it can come as you just learn to settle into your heart a little more.

Just remember your heart.

You know,

The heart excretes some enzymes that can help calm the head and influence our intellects,

Influence the thoughts,

Really,

Of our intellects.

But when our minds really get racing and they start going really fast,

The heart just stops secreting the enzyme.

Probably because,

You know,

In fight or flight situations,

We might not be able to listen to our hearts,

You know,

If we're being chased by a saber-toothed tiger or something.

But right now,

Many of us are walking around in this fight or flight state.

Our minds are so busy.

Many of us have just forgotten about resting in the heart,

Forgotten about peace of being in Mother Nature.

But even if you don't live near Mother Nature,

You come into your heart,

It's like coming to a soft,

Green area next to some flowing water or a lake where you can just be.

And just let your wisdom or your perceptions,

Your deeper perceptions and some feelings bubble up,

Maybe some feelings you haven't had time to feel.

But no matter how busy you are or how noisy your surroundings,

You can learn to come back to your heart.

It's right where you are.

It's right there in your body,

Your doorway to your eternal home.

Your doorway to your eternal wisdom and to a compassion,

A compassion for your human self that would probably seem so off the charts to you until you begin to feel it.

And even if you begin to feel this compassion coming to you from your eternal being,

The true compassion your being has for you will be infinitely more.

Because it's really understood that here on Earth,

You know,

It can be a rough school.

And sometimes it's hard to hear our guidance.

But you know,

The more interested we get in our hearts and their wisdom,

The more the door opens,

Love and guidance flows in.

When that happens,

When really we tap into the big love behind our lives,

What happens and we let it flow in,

Our own lives go much gentler.

You know,

Because we're not resisting this love that's in our hearts.

We've all got it.

It'll come into your heart.

You know,

No matter what kind of relationships you've got,

Or who's disappointed you,

I tell you that eternal being that's accessible in your own heart just loves you to the nth degree.

It's like you're the beloved of your own being.

And as we awaken,

Actually we turn,

We begin to love our own being and our true essence becomes our beloved.

And then all our relationships become warmer,

Gentler,

More honest.

It's a gradual process,

Can't be rushed.

You know,

In the West right now,

Maybe our culture is,

You know,

Teaching us all to run from our hearts.

So individually though,

We can turn,

We can turn,

And turn and rest in our hearts.

Feel the love coming through and the guidance.

And this is how we can help things.

We can help change things by just doing this ourselves,

Coming back to our hearts,

Remembering our hearts,

Remembering Mother Nature.

Very loved.

I needed to hear this at this exact moment. I’ve been suppressing some feelings of pain that needed to come up. My sister is dying and I’ve been ignoring this truth too long. Although it is painful, listening to my heart and allowing those feelings of fear and eminentl loss, allowed me to finally accept it. Now I can just embrace the love I feel for her and enjoy the time I have left with her❤️ Thank you for reminding me to listen to my heart and to get out of my head, even if just for a moment 🙏
