Here's the thing,

We're taught to go up into our heads to look for objective reality,

And we're taught to ignore or even push down our emotions and the inner data.

And then we're taught to look at life basically in the form of bad or good,

And then we use our human will to do good or get what we want.

Supposing we say,

Okay,

Material prosperity is good,

So we use our will to do that.

The trouble is the inner self,

Our souls,

They're our eternal self.

The self with the human will,

Who's looking at things as bad or good and lodged in their head and pushing down emotions and intuitions is the ego.

It's basically our ego self.

We're just identified with it,

So we think it's us.

So when we live this way,

The way I described,

We box ourselves and we make kind of a coffin in a way,

Because as I said,

The true self doesn't go away.

It's the permanent part of us.

It's our real self.

So it sees and fusses underneath and gives us maybe sleeplessness or nervousness,

Anxiety,

Or makes us feel very dry.

Westerners can sometimes life feels drier as they proceed just because they're so out of touch with their inner truth.

It's not a full thing,

It's how we're taught to be.

It's really how most of us are.

So what do you do?

What do you do if you're,

You know,

40s,

50s,

Or 60s and you're not happy and you realize this is you,

That you've lived this way?

Well,

It's never too late and it's always worth it to make a change.

All you have to do is just put your arms around yourself as you are right now in acceptance.

Now,

This can be easier said than done,

But it can be done.

It's what works.

Finally,

Accept that that's what you've done,

How you've lived your life,

And it wasn't really your fault because this is how we're taught.

And just by putting your arms around yourself and accepting yourself,

You will start to tap into a different way of living,

Which is including yourself in the equation,

Basically,

Including your soul in the equation,

You know,

Including your inner data that you might be getting,

Your intuitions,

Even feeling more of your emotions,

Maybe not acting them out,

But allowing them to be,

Allowing yourself to experience them.

I mean,

It's possible to be angry without actually doing anything.

You just be with it or,

You know,

Write an angry letter or,

You know,

Find some benign way to express it.

But basically what I'm talking about is making friends with the feminine aspect of humanity's,

You know,

Sides,

I mean,

We've got a masculine and feminine side.

So this other way of living includes more the realm of the heart,

The realm of the emotions and presence in the body,

And it makes us wiser,

Makes us whole,

And your problem-solving abilities will be better because you're getting more data,

You're getting full data.

It's sort of in a way,

It has to be experienced.

I don't really know how to explain it,

But sometimes,

And I'm sure I'm not alone in this,

I'm reading about experiments that are being done and,

You know,

To me,

The conclusion just seems like it's inevitable.

Like,

Why would anybody bother to do an experiment on it?

So you get kind of the knowledge of just the truth of things,

You're plugged in,

It's like you're plugged into your divine intelligence.

So we just get a lot of data that you can test and see if it's accurate or not.

And as you proceed in the journey,

You'll find that it gets more and more accurate,

You hear more and more clearly,

There's less static,

Your ego makes less static,

You don't have many walls between you and your soul,

So you just get direct knowledge.

And that's how spiritual masters function,

They just know information that really,

Theoretically,

They couldn't if you believe that we're not souls,

But once you believe that we're souls in human form,

I mean,

The ceiling's off,

The sky's the limit for what kind of information you can begin to intuit.

Okay,

Just wanted to say all this,

Bless your hearts.

It makes me think of that Natalie Merchant song "you must be one of the wonders of God's own creations.." Having someone recognize you as one..all of us recognizing it about ourselves..and about every one of us. Yes! Hug ourselves and recognize and celebrate that fact! πŸ’—πŸ€—

Thank you! πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒΈπŸ™πŸΎ What about people who aren’t exactly onboard with how you want to engage with them? In terms of giving attention to how awesome they are and to put themselves back in the forefront so they can be present for themselves and others (obviously not in those words). Lol I’m pretty flexible, at times, when it calls for more patience when cultivating relationships. But the desire to be there for people is growing a bit intense and I have to actively disengage myself from people so I don’t appear needy or aggressive when I don’t want anything from them but for them to show up for themselves. I often do feel like this feeling of intensity is so wrapped up in my ego for doing β€œgood” things for others. I call it β€œdoing a good”. It’s so silly that we pat ourselves on the back for that. So it needed to sound just as silly when I say things to myself that are kind of braggadocious. My husband keeps trying to get me to not make things so ”special” and over exaggerate situations but I am the best cheerleader when it comes to the people in my life. Always have been and it’s just been amplified since getting to know all the shapes and every being that is Divine Mother! I haven’t even touched the surface of things to know but I’m so intrigued by spirit and everything the universe is to us. πŸ€—πŸŒΈβ€οΈπŸ™πŸΎπŸŒΊ
