Science and experts often confirm what our intuition already knows. But the sad fact is we often don't trust our perceptions and insights. There are many reasons for this. One is that the realm of emotions, intuitions, subtle feelings and perceptions -the realm of the feminine - has been disrespected and repressed for centuries. So we doubt our hearts when they speak to us. As a result of this, we play in distractions, rarely making room to listen inwardly or test the information we receive by acting on it. The thing is if we want a meaningful life, we have to learn to listen to and trust our hearts. Our heart doesn’t need proof—only our attention. Let's learn to turn inside.

You know,

I've heard about a recent scientific study,

Considered a breakthrough,

And it was that babies that were picked up when they cried had better brain development.

And this was like,

Wow,

News!

And it's like,

Scientific studies have been saying this for 50 years.

Mm-hmm.

And any sentient person,

Anybody with any kind of heart,

Knows instinctively that that's true,

And that's how to be with babies.

You pick them up.

You bond with them.

So I'm kind of just wondering about how come we've gotten this place where we don't trust what we already know,

And how come we're hearing the same studies,

You know,

Repeated over five decades,

But actually our child-rearing is getting more heartless,

And we work all the time.

And,

You know,

Sometimes children are treated like objects.

So I just,

You know,

I'm just saying this because I think it needs to be said.

Somebody needs to say it.

It's sort of like the emperor's new clothes,

You know,

The emperor who was supposed to be an incredible finery,

But he was just naked.

He'd just been fooled by his court into paying for fabrics for clothes,

And there were no clothes made,

And he was parading naked,

And a little child said,

Hey,

The emperor has no clothes on.

Yeah,

And then everybody had permission to kind of just admit the truth.

So I'm just wondering why we're being so deluded into losing our self-esteem,

To losing our connection to our hearts,

To losing our trust in ourselves,

Because we have so many experts,

And they're all saying so many different things,

And,

You know,

You can have years and years in university and still not have a good character.

Actually,

Good characters come from well-taken-care-of babies and children.

You know,

The prefrontal lobe,

Which is the latest brain in humanity,

Does not start developing till after birth,

And what it depends on is a lot of love,

Play,

Stable care,

And that will promote the highest development of the prefrontal lobe,

Which is our seat of abstract thinking.

So if we take care of children really well,

Between zero and six particularly,

They'll be able to sacrifice their own individual interests in service of a higher goal,

Like,

You know,

Serving the Creator or serving society.

Yeah.

Okay,

I just wanted to say all this because,

You know,

Somebody needs to.

Okay,

Bless your hearts.
