Please begin by sitting comfortably and tall.

Allowing the eyes to close.

Drawing attention inward.

And simply noticing the felt sense of your own body.

Noticing the state of mind.

Observing there's no right or wrong state of mind.

Simply noticing the qualities of body and mind that are present.

And consider that whatever is passing through is not a problem.

Consider the possibility that whatever the experience is,

Is as it is.

What if there's nothing you need to do to manage it?

What if you can simply allow the experience of this moment to pass through?

So with that,

Making your way all the way up to a standing position.

Stepping feet together for Tadasana.

Once you close.

Pressing down into the feet,

Extend up through the crown of the head,

Looking straight ahead.

Bringing hands to the heart,

Palms together.

As you inhale,

Slowly extend the arms up overhead.

Pressing the palms together,

Pressing the elbows straight,

Draw the arms towards the sides of the head.

Relax the tops of the shoulders slightly.

Engage the energetic extension.

Press down into the feet.

Firm down through the inner thighs and buttocks.

Drop the tailbone.

Rest the ribs against the spine.

There's no arch in the spine.

Extend up through the crown of the head,

Out through the fingers.

The chin remains parallel to the floor.

Connecting with the breath,

Deepening the breath.

Notice as you remain in the posture and intensity builds,

The mind becomes active.

And starts to say,

How long do we have to hold this?

Perhaps starts to comment about sensations you're feeling in the body.

What if the sensations are your own vital force,

Your own life energy?

Can you allow the sensations to build and be in your body?

Is there anywhere you can relax?

Defensive tensions.

And continue to engage by pressing down into the feet.

Relax the soles of the feet.

Reach the soles of the feet down.

Extend up through the spine,

Out through the crown and fingers.

Breathe fully.

Notice,

What is the tendency?

Is the tendency to harden the body?

To start fighting?

Is the tendency to collapse or shrink away?

Is the tendency to want to go somewhere else in your head?

Breathe.

Whatever is here,

Allow it to be seen,

Felt,

Acknowledged.

Slowly,

Consciously,

Begin to release your hands down from your heart.

Relaxing the arms.

Closing the eyes.

And let all of your attention be drawn by the sensations released in the body.

Feel the powerful waves of released energy.

And meet that experience without favor or fight.

Without attraction or repulsion to what is present.

Relax.

When we witness,

We cease manipulating our own life energy.

When we witness,

We enter the connection to what is as it is.

This was useful although the coughing in the background was a tad challenging! All part of the process I guess
