In every cycle there is a necessary period of slowing down.

This isn't a stopping,

It's a highly active phase of inward gathering.

It's an essential part of evolution.

To move forward you must recalibrate to the energy in the future,

Not the past.

This slowing down is a focusing and concentrating,

Not a silence or lack of movement,

But in contrast to the speed at which we normally live,

It can feel like it.

When we slow down we develop heightened awareness.

It's like situations where things move incredibly quickly but you see them happening in slow motion and are able to capture details that would have been invisible to you otherwise.

As you slow down you can see more,

You can feel more,

Prepare more.

Your actions,

Thoughts,

Perception are more accurate because you can gather intuitive awareness into articulation.

Before you leap you take a breath,

You re-center,

Focus,

Balance,

Commit.

It's a vital part of the cycle of development and growth.

Periods of imbalance,

Literally and figuratively,

Dominate these times and you are in the process of finding a new center of balance,

Gathering the breath of movement and slowing down to take it all in.

Your body,

Your vehicle of your energy,

Requires time to adapt.

So I want you to take a deep breath now.

In through your nose and out through your mouth,

Signaling to your body and to your energy that a change of pace is coming.

Repeat two or three times and then begin to deepen your breath and slow it down.

Focus on your heart space and the regular beating of your heart.

Listen to or feel the beat.

Finding stillness in your breathing and heartbeat.

The stiller you become,

The more you are aware of your intuitive sensations and inner voice.

So keep slowing it down with your breath.

Each time you feel the urge to respond,

Breathe and observe.

You are gathering your intuitive wisdom.

There are energies swirling around you,

Your creative muses,

And within you,

Your creative impulses.

Slow them down.

See or feel them in slow motion.

Capture the details and nuances with your heightened awareness.

Breathe into your center,

The seat of your soul.

Find your center of balance and begin to expand your center outwards through these energies and feel how easily it expands into possibility by moving from your center.

Keep everything in slow motion.

Your energy is reaching through the myriad of expressions possible,

Reaching for its fullest expression.

Gathering the energies as it moves,

Moving out in all directions,

Held by your center in form.

Breathe into your center.

Let your energy travel as far as it wants to and then begin to draw all of the energies back into your center and as the energy streams in,

Feel the light building,

Your energy strengthening,

Your balance becoming steadier.

And gradually begin to speed up your breathing to a normal rhythm.

Come back into your body awareness.

Activate your body by wiggling and stretching,

Maintaining mindful breaths that hold this energy and light within your center.

And now write down or say to yourself the next action you can take to move you forward into the new energies of the future,

Holding your balance and equilibrium.
