Observe.

Since I always had a variety of interests,

Much of my time was spent exploring and trying new things.

This had served me well until the birth of my daughter,

When I became more conscious of my time and how I was spending it.

Being a new parent meant that I had to learn to be more efficient.

In my search for focus,

I found several techniques that were analytical and logical.

They sounded great,

But there was still something deeper calling to me.

I wanted to get to the core of who I was and tap into my true desires.

If all the outside influences disappeared for a moment,

What would I really want from life?

Learning more about psychology,

Hypnosis and meditation,

I began to apply their principles.

Through quieting my mind,

I discovered something more fundamental,

The real me.

Observing and connecting with my true self was a pivotal shift in my self-transformation.

It allowed me to separate from external influences,

Dive past my scattered thoughts and expose my true feelings.

Then I knew what I really wanted in life.

I continued to use self-observation to check in and determine what's actually important to me.

This is why observe is the first step in the one process.

Every improvement starts with an observation.

In order to change,

We must first have the awareness that something needs to change and see past the automatic thoughts that disrupt our focus.

With a clear mind,

You'll be able to dissolve the barriers that are holding you back from personal growth.

Self-observation is one of the simplest and most powerful tools that we already have in our possession.

You don't need to learn more information,

But rather shift your awareness inward and become an observer of your mind.

It will help you figure out what's important to you and what you really want.

Without this step,

We waste time and energy chasing illusions of what we want and we end up confused,

Feeling like something is still missing.

The following exercise will take you through an example of an observed practice.
