Good morning.
Welcome to today's guided meditation for peace.
I'll invite you to come into a nice comfortable seat with a long spine.
You can have your feet firmly rooted onto the surface beneath you if you're seated in a chair.
If you prefer cross legs,
Please feel free to do so.
Just making sure the spine is nice and erect in this moment.
Soften your shoulders back and down.
Just gently flutter the eyes closed as you take just a few moments this morning to settle in to this beautiful day in the most peaceful way.
Take a nice breath in through your nose and gently sigh it out the mouth.
Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.
One more time,
Long even inhale and slow steady exhale.
Then lightly sealing your lips and just simply noticing the breath in this moment.
In and out through the nose and inviting this beautiful mantra for your day,
This beautiful mantra of I am peace.
So on the inhale be I am and as we exhale peace.
Inhale I am.
Exhale peace.
Inhale I am.
Exhale peace.
Now I invite you to continue repeating this mantra,
Allowing ourselves to come home to this peaceful state of being,
Grounding into our day,
Simply observing the breath and inviting peace into our state of being.
Allowing all our actions today to be in the most peaceful way.
Let me take time to set an intention and take time to ground in.
We allow ourselves to have a foundation,
Something we can return home to,
Something that's always within us that we can access anytime.
These are the moments,
The small moments that allow us opportunities for big change.
A change in our perspective,
A change in our ways,
A change in our habits,
A change in our mindset.
I am peace.
I am peace.
I am peace.
Remind yourself as you continue with your day that this calm,
Peaceful state is accessible to you at any time.
Always coming back to your mantra,
Coming back to your long,
Steady inhale and slow,
Steady exhale at any time.
As you start to bring your awareness back into your body,
Maybe you just begin to wiggle the hips a little side to side.
Maybe you bring the arms over the head and find a nice good morning stretch.
A little roll of the shoulders.
A little crick of the neck.
Little side to side.
Below the fingers and toes.
Maybe flutter the eyes open.
Enjoy the rest of your peaceful day.
Namaste.
