I am so happy you are here.

We are going to be doing a meditation on clarity today.
And so I invite you to really be here and be present.
I know that's tricky where we have so much on our minds and so many things we have to do and our days get so so busy it's hard to just sit still.
That is what I am inviting you to do now is just be still with me for a few minutes.
And so I invite you to find a comfortable position whether that's sitting in a chair,
Lying on the ground,
Whatever it is that you feel comfortable.
Just allow yourself to sit or lie down and start to settle.
Start to really just be here now.
Lay all your troubles down right now.
Just put them down for a few minutes.
This is your time.
This is just time for you to be here.
And so relax your forehead.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
And just start to settle.
Feel supported by the weight of the chair or the ground beneath you.
Let's start taking some deeper breaths.
We're going to focus on the breath for a little bit.
So we're going to take a deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
And as you continue to do your breathing and focusing on your breath,
Wondering if you're noticing that you feel a little bit more relaxed.
A little calmer already.
Just by being still and breathing.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
As you continue to focus on your breath,
Thoughts may pop into your head and that's okay.
That's normal.
Just let them come and then just let them go.
It's as if you are on the side of a stream and your thoughts are just kind of bubbling in the water and then they float on by.
You're not in this stream.
You don't have to deal with them.
You're on the side and you can just watch them go.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Just return to your breath again and again.
Now as you take your breath in,
I invite you to breathe in calm.
And as you breathe out,
I invite you to breathe out stress.
Breathe in calm.
Breathe out stress.
Or breathe in peace.
Breathe out tension.
Whatever works for you to create a place of peace and calm right here in the middle of your day,
You can be totally peaceful,
Totally calm.
Now you are in a place where you've created space for something.
Whatever it is you might like in this moment,
Whatever it is you need clarity around,
Ask yourself the question now.
What do I need?
What question do you want to ask yourself?
What answer are you seeking?
Ask yourself now.
Allow yourself to be open to whatever comes up for you as an answer.
And it's okay if something does and it's okay if something doesn't.
You have created a little opening.
You have created space.
You've planted the seed for the answers to come.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
I invite you to just breathe and be open.

And now let's place our hands on our heart.
Feel a little love for yourself for taking this time.
You sit in stillness,
Gave yourself a gift.
You should be proud of yourself.

Just a few more breaths.

Now you can flutter your eyelashes and open those eyes.
Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Just kind of come back,
Come back to the physical space.
Hopefully feeling a little bit calmer and more peaceful and with the seed of clarity planted.
You can take that throughout your day.
