Transcript

Allow your body to settle into a comfortable seat or lying down.

Get comfy cozy.

Doing any necessary adjustments to make sure you're nice and supported during this dive of the five senses meditation.

Allow your eyes to gently close and begin to feel your breath in your body.

Feeling the breath in the heart space,

Feeling the breath in the lungs,

Or perhaps you feel the breath in the belly.

Wherever the breath is,

Feel it.

Is your breath shallow,

Deep,

Relaxed,

Short,

Long.

However your vitality feels,

Acknowledge that feeling of breath.

Feeling the breath arrive in the body on the inhale,

Feeling the breath exit the body on the exhale.

I now invite you to hear the breath,

Hearing the breath as you breathe the body.

What does your breath sound like as it enters the body?

What does your breath sound like when it exits the body?

What does it mean to your breath,

To its beautiful song?

Now begin to touch the breath.

Place your palms over your heart or belly and touch the breath as your body rises and falls with the inhale and the exhale.

Touch it with a gratitude hug or a big bright joyous smile.

I now invite you to see your breath.

Visualize your breath as it enters your body,

Perhaps through the nostrils or the mouth.

And visualize your breath as it exits the body through the nostrils or mouth.

What does your breath look like?

Does it take in a shape or color?

Just noticing this amazing sight of your breath.

Now tasting your breath.

Perhaps you tasted in your mouth on the inhale.

Perhaps you tasted in the mouth on the exhale.

Does it taste of an element,

Of a food,

Of a beverage?

Just allow that breath to swirl in your mouth and letting it go on the exhale.

Seeing your breath.

Feeling your breath.

Hearing your breath.

Touching your breath.

Tasting your breath.

Honoring the senses of the breath.

Welcoming in a nice deep inhale.

And a nice deep exhale.

On your next inhale,

Begin to bring movement to your hands and to your feet.

Maybe a nice little smile in the heart,

On your face.

For honoring the senses of the breath today.

Begin to blink your eyes open.

Sending gratitude to yourself and your breath.

Wishing you a harmonious day.

Namaste.
