Today I will be taking you on a guided meditation for the vernal equinox.
We are ready to say goodbye to the winter.
It was a time for us to go inwards,
Embrace the darkness,
Connect with our inner self,
And during a state of rest,
Spring has arrived.
We spent this winter experiencing days that were filled with mist.
We enter a time of darkness.
This is a wonderful time.
We no longer need things that no longer serve us.
So let them go.
Take them into the spring with us.
It's a great time.
Seeds of intention,
Seeds of creativity,
Things that we want to grow this spring season.
So I would like you to take this time to become a meditative position.
Please get in the middle.
Sit in a cross-legged position.
With a tall spine,
If that feels comfortable to you.
Or you can lie down on your back,
Relaxed at your side,
Legs stretched long.
Cover yourself with a blanket if you tend to get headaches sometimes.
Take full,
Cleansing breaths.
Get in touch with our body.
Exhale through our mouth.
Let it sigh.
Have a lot of built up energy that you like to release.
So let's inhale now.
And exhale.
Turn to your normal position.
You are breathing in life giving energy from the earth,
Exhaling life back.
Exhale the stale and old.
Continue breathing like this.
There's thoughts coming in.
Watch them flow by.
Don't attach to them.
Notice the feeling of the earth.
Notice how she supports your body.
Out into the earth.
Release the muscles.
Notice any places where there is still tension or tightness.
Start at the top of your head.
Relax your forehead.
The crown of your head.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your neck.
Relax your shoulders.
