Welcome to the walking meditation for two-year-olds.
Parents take a walk with a two-year-old,
Preferably outside,
But you can do it inside too.
Throughout the meditation,
You and your child will think about your five senses as you walk.
Whatever your child says,
Acknowledge it without judgment.
Feel free to ask more questions about their senses.
When you're ready,
Begin walking.
What do you hear?
Maybe you hear the wind.
Maybe you hear cars driving by.
Maybe you hear people talking.
What do you smell?
Maybe you don't smell anything,
And that's okay.
Maybe you smell food.
Maybe you smell flowers.
What are you touching?
Do you feel your feet touching the floor?
Do you feel the wind?
Do you feel your clothes on your body?
What do you see?
Maybe you see plants.
Maybe you see houses.
Maybe you see people.
What do you taste?
Maybe you don't taste anything,
And that's okay.
Maybe you're eating something,
And you taste it.
That's it for the two-year-old walking meditation.
If you are having fun,
Please continue.
I hope you enjoyed it.
