Welcome to our guided nada yoga meditation session.
When you are ready,
Take a moment to sit comfortably with good posture,
And close your eyes.
We shall begin with a little bit of mindful breathing,
Just to calm and clear the mind before we get into our nada yoga.
Breathe in through your nose to a count of four,
And pause for four,
Breathe out through your mouth for four,
Pause for four,
And repeat.
And we are simply observing the breath moving through the body.
Now,
Begin to recite a mantra.
I recommend the mantra Aum.
Continue to recite this mantra to yourself,
And bring your awareness to the sound of the mantra.
We are simply observing the mantra,
And moving our awareness from the breath to the sound.
Remember that it is normal and natural for the mind to wander from time to time.
When the mind wanders,
We gently guide it back to the mantra.
We are not forcing the sound of the mantra.
We are simply allowing the sound to come and go with the breath,
Flowing freely.
Now,
We want to move the mantra inside so that we can listen to internal sounds.
We stop making the mantra audibly,
But we allow the mantra to repeat in the mind.
It is as though we are gently thinking this mantra to ourselves,
And that is producing internal sound.
And then we are simply focusing the mind on the internal sound.
Of that mantra.
As though you are listening to the mantra in your thoughts.
It is a very gentle thought.
In fact,
You might find that the mantra repeats itself automatically,
Without you having to actively think it.
Either way,
Simply listen to the sound of the mantra in your mind.
As usual,
Remember that it is normal for the mind to wander a little bit,
When you need to just gently guide your mind back to the internal sound of the mantra.
Now,
We shall move on to the next step,
But please note,
If you like to,
You may pause the video so that you can continue this step before proceeding onwards.
For our next step,
We will stop reciting the mantra.
We will now turn the mind to the sounds of the body occurring within.
Perhaps you can hear the sound of your heartbeat.
Or perhaps there is a light ringing in your ears.
Or maybe you can hear the sound of your breath.
Simply become aware of the sounds occurring within.
And again,
Should you like to,
Feel free to pause the video and continue to practice this step.
Then,
When you are ready,
Continue on to the next step.
While you are listening to the internal sounds of your body,
You will notice that there is one sound that is ever present.
This is your Anahata sound.
It is a sound that is always there with you.
It is a sound that is unique to you,
As you are a unique human being.
And only you can hear this sound.
Allow yourself to listen to and to tune in to this sound of yourself,
Your Anahata sound.
And allow yourself to experience a moment of oneness with this sound.
Again,
Should you wish to continue to practice this step,
Feel free to pause.
Or perhaps you might like to wind back to the beginning and repeat this meditation again.
Now,
Let us slowly open our eyes.
I thank you for joining me for this meditation session.
