Through this session, we will work on our ability to shake off the stresses of the day, allow the energy from source to cleanse our mind body and spirit and leave us relaxed and cleansed ready for sleep and ready to wake rejuvenated from the healing energy from the universe. Ideal use after a busy day or to just help unwind. Many blessings Namaste

Transcript

Welcome.

Let's start by bringing our attention to our breathing.

Let's take a few deep breaths in and long breaths out.

Deep breath in,

Hold in just for a moment and that long breath out.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath in,

Hold in just for a second and then long breath out.

One final one.

Deep breath in,

Really expand your chest and your stomach.

Hold just for a moment and then let go.

Let's briefly bring our attention to how our body is feeling.

After a busy day sometimes stress and tension can gather parts of our body.

Let's just scan down our body and be aware of those areas of tension.

Start from the top of our head,

Work down,

Down past our face.

Make sure our brow is relaxed,

Our jaw unclenched.

Let's go to our shoulders.

This can be somewhere where tension can gather.

Let's wait here a moment.

Let's bring our breath back into play here.

Let's pause a moment and on each one of our out breaths just feeling our body just soften,

Just relax.

Our shoulders dip and notice as our tension ebbs away as we focus on our breath washing away any tension in our shoulders.

Let's pause here a moment.

Deep breath in,

Long breath out,

Washing away any tension in your shoulders and neck.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath in,

Holding,

Then letting go,

Letting go of any of the tension or stress in our shoulders and back.

Then one more time.

Deep breath in,

Holding just for a moment,

Then let go.

As your body starts to soften,

Let's notice the weight of our hands and arms as our body relaxes,

Either at the side of us or on our lap.

Feeling of our legs and feet heavy like lead grounded to the earth beneath us or if you're lying down our heels onto the bed beneath us.

Now let's bring our attention back to our breathing just for a moment.

That's it.

That sensation of the air passing over our lips and tongue through our nose,

Mouth,

The rise and fall of our chest.

And now let's help wind our mind down after the busy day.

Let's visualize ourselves sat comfortably.

Either cross-legged or on a chair.

And in our mind's eye,

We see the light of the sun.

Either cross-legged or on a chair.

And in our mind's eye,

Let's bring forward the image of something that may have caused us stress or tension through our day.

Let's just bring that,

Invite that into our mind's eye.

Now this can sometimes bring feeling of anxiety or a little bit of tension into our body.

Our heart might beat a little faster or our shoulders might pinch,

Our brow might clench.

Let's be mindful of our breath.

Let's be mindful of our breath.

Our heart might beat a little faster or our shoulders might pinch,

Our brow might clench.

Let's be mindful of those feelings.

Let's help those feelings ebb away.

Let's bring our attention back to the image of us sitting.

And in front of us is the image of the cause of our stress or tension from today.

And now we picture the energy from the universe,

Clear,

Bright,

Perfect energy,

Entering our crown,

Entering the top of our head.

And slowly making its way down,

Down,

Down through our head,

Down over our face,

Down past our shoulders.

And as it does pass through our body,

We can see the image of the cause of our stress disappearing slowly as the energy from the universe cleanses our body,

Our mind,

And releases the tension by washing away the image of the cause of our stress.

Let's continue down our body,

The image of the energy filling our body,

Down past our chest,

Down past our stomach,

Down to our hips,

Slowly down to our legs,

And as we glance and see where the image of the cause of our stress once laid,

There's nothing there.

The energy has dissolved the cause of our stress and transmuted it back to source.

We continue on our journey down our body,

The clear,

Perfect energy filling our body,

Leaving our body and mind feeling relaxed,

Feeling calm,

Softened after the stresses of the day.

Energy continues to pass down through our body,

Down to our shins,

And eventually to our feet,

Our feet feeling grounded to the earth,

Our feet feeling grounded to the earth beneath us,

Imagining our feet traveling down like roots deep,

Deep into the ground.

The energy now flowing freely all the way through our body,

Washing away any stress or tension and passing it back,

Back through our feet,

Back through the roots,

Back into the earth,

Cleansing our body of any tension or any stress from the day,

The image of the beautiful,

Clear white light,

Perfect energy from source,

Through our crown,

Cleansing all the way through our body,

All the way through our feet,

Firmly grounded,

Firmly planted to the earth beneath us,

Washing away all the way through our feet,

Firmly grounded,

Firmly planted to the earth beneath us,

Washing away any of the tension.

And now,

As our body and mind relax,

We'll close this meditation with a few affirmations from the Reiki principles.

Just for today,

I will not anger.

Just for today,

I will not worry.

Just for today,

I will not worry.

Just for today,

I will be kind.

Just for today,

I will not anger.

Just for today,

I will not worry.

And just for today,

I will be kind.

Now as we bring meditation to a close,

Start to allow our breathing to get back to normal,

Be more aware of our surroundings.

And when you feel ready,

And only when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
