The Practice Of Worthiness-Release Sabotage Patterns
by Kumari Devi
The Practice of Worthiness and releasing self-sabotage patterning. A guided practice/visualization using the chakras as guides to access the subconscious patterning of sabotage. Identify emotional memory and release it.
Transcript
I'm Kumari Devi and today is worthiness.
We're going to practice being worthy,
If there's such a thing.
I say it's a practice because it takes time to unwind unworthiness from the fabric of our lives.
It's like a cord that's wrapped around our experiences,
Our thoughts,
Our feelings.
It's such an ingrained unconscious habit that we rarely notice unworthiness or sabotage in our lives.
A lot of times when we do experience it,
It's just so part of our lives,
It's so matter-of-fact that we don't really give it much thought.
So today we're going to venture into the part of worthiness called sabotage,
The patterning of sabotage.
I want you to take your awareness to your second chakra,
It's right above the pubic bone and below the belly button.
You place your hands there.
And imagine a bright,
Bright orange.
You can imagine that the light is so bright that your fingers disappear from that place.
It's orange,
Brilliant,
Brilliant orange color.
And you're pulling all your awareness to that second chakra.
So your focus is where your hands are and your breath.
And now imagine a door opening to the second chakra.
Imagine walking into the second chakra,
It looks like a hobbit house.
To me,
The second chakra is the subconscious of the body,
Where we hold a lot of old patterns.
So hobbit houses are usually underground.
They have big wooden doors as you walk through into the second chakra,
They're a little underground.
As you're inside,
Look around the space.
What do you notice?
Notice your surroundings,
The environment.
Is it dark?
Or is it really light?
If it feels okay,
Sit down and observe the environment.
To me,
It looks old.
Like there are a lot of old memories there.
A lot of things to go through.
Might look like an old antique shop with so many things around.
And over there in the corner is a big wooden chest.
Open the chest.
See if you can locate in the chest the very first time you felt unloved.
It would be in childhood.
It may have been around a circumstance or an event.
Look deep into that chest.
See if you can find the memory of the first time you felt unloved.
It was the time where you felt you didn't matter to anyone.
Try not to judge the experience.
Just look for that memory.
So it's almost like looking through old pictures.
You're looking at all your childhood pictures.
And as you look at those pictures,
You have all this memory that arises.
See if you can find the picture of that memory in the chest.
When you find that picture,
That memory,
You might feel something.
Might feel hurt or angry.
Those feelings are okay.
Just let them be there.
The memory might also look like a trinket.
If it's not a picture.
Why don't you find the memory either with a picture or a trinket,
Pick it up and look at it and examine it.
What do you sense of that experience?
This is the original pattern of where you started to feel unworthy.
There was a feeling of hurt.
Perhaps a push away from the mother or the father or a caregiver.
Someone you trusted and loved put up a defense by saying,
Perhaps,
Not now or maybe they yelled.
And you took this on personally thinking it was your fault and began to turn on your own self emotionally as though you didn't matter.
The presumption at that time was if they don't care,
If your parents don't care,
Why should I care?
This is where the pattern of sabotage began.
Sabotage is a punishment pattern.
It's unconscious action to hurt ourselves in some way.
In this pattern of sabotage,
There's a belief that we don't matter.
And thus what happens unconsciously is that we turn deeper and deeper in on ourselves.
And we really start to disrespect ourselves.
Often this pattern is generational.
And the circumstances around the pattern are passed on from generation to generation.
Until we become consciously aware of this pattern and stop it.
And this is what we're doing here today.
So you found the memory,
You found the original pattern.
A situation,
An event.
There may have been hurt around that event.
Or anger or fear,
Confusion.
Feelings are all right to have.
But don't place a judgment or criticism on the feeling.
That would be they were bad or wrong.
Just allow the feelings to be present without judgments.
It's okay in this situation to be angry at a parent.
Or hurt by their actions.
Just find the memory.
And this is also where autoimmune disease began.
And autoimmune is where the body turns on itself.
And in essence starts to beat up on itself.
And white blood cells start to attack the body.
And this is the same pattern.
It's a sabotage pattern.
Now that you found the memory.
As either a picture or a trinket.
Dust it off.
Imagine getting a cloth and cleaning it.
If it's a trinket.
And it's broken.
See if you can put it back together.
Make it all shiny and bright.
It was once full of light and love.
So give it strength and courage.
Add some trust and resilience.
And perhaps some extra charm and wit.
And don't forget,
Add more love.
And now that you have dusted off the trinket.
Dust it off the picture.
You can see more clearly the memory.
You can see the love and the light.
From that experience.
Now imagine coming out of your hobbit house.
Out of the second chakra.
With your trinket or picture in hand.
So it's a keepsake for you to put energy into and love.
It's a part of you that is now whole and happy.
So ask yourself what else is needed to become more conscious.
Of your personal value and your self respect.
What do you need to become more consciously aware.
Of your value or your respect.
It might be a good idea to go find a crystal or a little trinket to keep with you for a few weeks.
To remind yourself that you are rebuilding out of the pattern of sabotage.
And to become more aware of how you respect yourself in life.
And to you can say that phrase,
I believe I'm worthy of love.
To reinforce the release of any sabotage in your life.
And so now tap your heart a couple times to bring yourself back into this reality.
Back into your home,
To your room.
And then tap your third eye a few times.
Totally grounding you.
Grounding yourself here in this moment.
So this journey into the unconscious here today was to identify the memory of where that sabotage pattern began.
And to change it.
To change the characteristics of that memory.
You did so by dusting off a picture or trinket.
And then adding some qualities that you loved about it.
In essence,
What happens when we're children is that we make a decision.
The mother or father yelled at us or slammed a door or said,
Not now.
We made a decision that they didn't love us or we didn't matter.
And we start pushing away from love.
Become unworthy of love.
And we start turning inwards and blocking ourselves to the world and to love.
So I encourage you to find something like a crystal or something like a stone crystal.
A bead,
One of those glass beads that you can keep in your pocket to remind you that you're working on your sabotage patterns and the memory of those patterns.
Could chant,
I believe,
Unworthy of love as a mantra.
And see where you disrespect yourself the most in your life.
So that would be maybe working overtime without getting paid.
Giving yourself away in love in a relationship.
Not eating healthy,
Eating junk food or lots of carbs.
Not drinking enough water,
Not exercising enough.
Those are all ways in which there's a sabotage going on.
And like I said,
It's very unconscious.
It's not something that we think about,
Of course.
We don't sit around with a little pad and pencil thinking,
How can I sabotage myself today?
It's done very,
Very unconsciously.
Tap the top of your head about five or six times very gently.
And we'll release this pattern of self sabotage.
Perfect.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for being here.
Namaste.
