So we are going to start tonight's meditation with the Sudarshan chakra kriya.
This meditation is a powerful meditation for balancing the masculine and feminine energy within you.
This is a fairly simple breath work.
What we are going to do is use our thumb and our pinky and we are going to block one nostril.
We are going to inhale for two,
Hold it for the count of eight,
And then exhale out of the other nostril for a count of four.
Inhale into that same nostril for a count of two,
Hold it for eight,
And then exhale for a count of four.
This practice is usually done for about two and a half hours while chanting shahaguru.
We will not be doing that today.
This practice is known for bringing people to a state of samadhi,
Which is a state of ecstasy.
And it is a beautiful practice if you choose to practice this at home.
So we are going to start now.
Plug your right nostril and inhale for a count of two.
One,
Two,
Hold for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Exhale your other nostril for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale for a count of two.
One,
Two,
Hold for two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Exhale out of the other nostril.
One,
Two.
Inhale for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold for eight.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Other nostril.
One,
Two.
Now try it on your own.
One more time around.
Now return to a normal breathing pattern.
Now we will begin tonight's meditation.
Find a comfortable seating position and lower your eyelids.
Begin to take deep breaths into your heart space.
Big inhale,
Holding it at the top,
Feeling how your heart gently rocks you back and forth.
And exhale.
And again,
Big inhale,
Holding it at the top,
Feeling that pressure build up as your heart races and pumps.
And then exhale.
Keeping your attention looking inward to your heart.
Your heart space is your governing vessel.
This is your place of balance,
Of power and love,
Of unity.
This is your safe place inside your heart.
Now I want you to imagine that you approach a door.
When you open this door,
You walk into a room and notice your inner feminine.
When you enter this room,
Notice what she looks like,
How she's presenting herself.
What is she wearing?
What colors are around her?
How do you feel in her presence?
Now as you approach her,
I would like you to ask her if there's anything that she would like to tell you.
And to just receive what she says,
Or if there's any visualization,
Colors or textures that appear,
To just allow it to be.
And once you've received this message,
You may now ask her if there's anything you would like to know.
And once you've received this message,
Slowly back out of the room,
Returning to that heart space,
To that inner balance,
To that place of love.
Now I want you to imagine coming up to another door.
As you enter this room,
You notice your inner masculine.
As you approach him,
Take note of how he is presenting himself.
What does he look like?
Is he sitting,
Standing?
What is he wearing?
Is there any colors or textures that you notice?
How do you feel in his presence?
And once you approach him,
I want you to ask him if there's anything that he would like to tell you.
And remember just to receive it.
And once you've received this message,
You may now ask him if there is anything you would like to know.
And once you've received this message,
Back out of the room,
Return to that love,
To that heart space,
The place that rocks you back and forth.
Your inner sanctuary,
That governing vessel.
Now I want you to imagine a third door.
And when you open this door,
You enter into a room with your masculine and feminine.
And as you approach them,
Notice where they are at.
Are they together?
Are they apart?
How are they presenting themselves?
Is there any colors,
Textures?
How do they present themselves?
And when you get up to them,
You may ask them if there's anything they would like to tell you.
And again,
Just remember to receive whatever this message is,
Or vision.
And once you've received this message,
You may now ask them if there's anything you would like to know about your inner masculine and feminine.
And once you've received this message,
Instead of backing out of the room,
I want you to approach your inner masculine and feminine.
Begin to wrap your arms around them,
Hugging them,
Embodying them,
Until they begin to melt and dissolve into that heart space.
And as they melt into you and become you,
They fill your heart with their masculine and feminine balance.
And once you feel that they are completely within you,
That balance within your heart,
In that governing vessel,
I want you to slowly open your gaze and bring that inner balance back into this world with you.

It could be very insightful to see where your inner balance is and how your masculine and feminine showed up for you.
