In this guide of meditation,
I'm going to invite you into your yes.
So if you're saying yes to this meditation right now,
I invite you to get comfortable,
Either sitting down or lying down.
And just pausing from whatever you're doing,
Giving yourself a big yes to turning all of your attention toward yourself.
So with that in mind,
Making any adjustments so your body is comfortable,
Allowing your eyes to close and feeling how you're supported.
Taking a deep breath in and letting go,
Feeling how you're supported from underneath.
How the support of the earth,
The support of gravity,
You're being held and cradled.
So right now,
Would you be willing to say yes to the experience of being held?
Just breathing and letting go.
Letting go,
Sinking in and down,
Perhaps noticing how the body relaxes and releases in places that you might not even have known were holding.
The shoulders,
The jaw,
The belly,
Everything can let go,
Letting go and releasing.
Taking this time to say yes to tending to yourself,
To letting go of tension,
To letting go of any thoughts so that you can relax and release.
When you're letting go,
Giving yourself permission,
Being curious about what it would be like to give yourself permission to relax.
Saying yes to relaxation is saying yes to loving yourself.
Because as we practice saying yes to ourselves,
Saying yes to easy breathing,
Saying yes to letting go of tension,
Then we're building,
We're expanding our capacity to say yes to ourselves,
To say yes to life,
Whatever is being offered.
We're saying yes,
Yes to receiving it,
Or perhaps yes to letting it go by.
It's just like when someone offers you a cup of tea or something to drink,
You might say yes and you might let that opportunity go by.
Either way,
You're saying yes to yourself.
I'm inviting you into the yes with yourself.
Every breath is an opportunity to say yes to yourself,
Yes to relaxation,
Yes to being right here in this moment.
This is the breath of yes,
Yes to being loving and kind with yourself.
Every breath is an invitation to say yes.
So every time you listen to this practice,
You can discover effortlessly and easily what it is to say yes,
Yes to yourself,
Yes to this moment.
And it's as simple as breathing,
Yes,
So that you begin to notice more and more when it's time to pause,
When your body needs good nourishment or water,
Or maybe it needs to stretch,
Or perhaps it's time for some face-to-face contact with someone,
Or a hug.
Just noticing how you say yes to yourself and it gets easier and easier as the days go by,
Months,
Weeks,
And years.
You're saying yes and it can feel so good.
Breathing into yes,
Loving yourself and loving this moment just as it is,
Saying yes,
Saying yes,
Saying yes.
So it is,
So it is,
So it is.
