Hi,
This is Padma Gordon and today I want to offer you a meditation on gratitude.
It's Thanksgiving week and as a culture we turn toward the spirit of gratitude.
So today let's come together,
Make ourselves comfortable and really just dive in to a deep moment of gratitude.
Because gratitude is one of the most healing forces in the world.
Gratitude opens us,
Gratitude frees us,
Gratitude aligns us with infinite possibilities.
Gratitude actually changes the electromagnetic frequency of our bodies.
So let's just take a few minutes beginning by closing your eyes and taking some nice full breaths.
Just being grateful,
Grateful for this breath,
Grateful for this moment of being alive,
Of having people around you that you love and who love you,
Grateful for a moment of slowing down.
So beginning with breathing in,
Letting go and settling into the frequency of gratitude.
What is it like to turn toward the things that you're really grateful for in your life,
Your health?
And if your health isn't optimal in this moment,
Being grateful that you can breathe,
That you have the space and time to listen to this meditation,
That you have ears that can hear.
And I'm inviting you to just for a moment imagine that this breath of gratitude had a color and I don't know what color that might be.
Might be a shimmering white or perhaps a rosy gold or maybe a soft peach or a very light blue,
It doesn't matter.
Just sensing in to the color of gratitude,
The breath of gratitude and the color.
And as you're breathing it,
Let that color and the frequency of that color circulate through your whole body,
Through your whole being.
Taking the time to receive the color,
The frequency,
The feeling,
Just being open and trusting your experience because however you are experiencing gratitude right now is just right for you.
You can relax,
Let go and receive being nourished by this frequency,
By this flavor of gratitude so that it permeates all of your cells,
Every cell and fiber of your being.
Can be touched,
Maybe tingling or pulsing,
Enlivened in some way by this breath of gratitude.
And you might also welcome any images,
Images of the people and things in your life that you're really grateful for because the more you focus on what it is you're grateful for,
The more you're empowering these things,
These relationships to grow and flourish,
Allowing gratitude to grow and flourish,
Blossoming inside of you.
And you can trust that the more you tend to gratitude,
The more it will offer you,
The more it will give you.
It's a cycle.
The more grateful we are,
The more things people,
Experiences show up for us to be grateful for.
So right now,
You're priming your system,
Your whole body,
Your whole being,
Your heart for gratitude,
Infusing yourself with gratitude.
And the more you do it,
The more it naturally grows,
Practicing,
Tending to gratitude,
Tending to your heart and listening for what it is that your heart is grateful for.
So as you move through your life,
As you move through your days,
You'll be surprised,
Pleasantly surprised by what appears and how you respond with gratitude more and more with grace and ease.
Gratitude is flowing,
Flowing through your life,
Flowing,
Flowing,
Flowing.
God bless you.
God bless you.
