Change is a part of growing up, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. Sometimes it feels exciting, like an adventure. Other times, it can feel confusing or even a little scary. And that’s okay. This short guided meditation will help you breathe, relax and remind yourself that you are strong, capable and growing every day. Just like a tree starts as a small seed and grows taller over time, you are becoming more you with every new experience. Hello,

My name is Natalie and I am a meditation teacher here on Insight Timer and I'm thrilled that you have chosen to have a mindful moment with me where I will take you through a meditation around embracing change with confidence and growth.

Before I do begin,

I want to invite you to find a comfortable place to either sit or lie down.

And if you feel comfortable,

I encourage you to close your eyes,

Really letting your eyes be heavy in their sockets,

Enjoying this moment of quiet and peace.

Let's take a moment to take a deep breath together,

In through the nose,

And gently out through your mouth.

Let's do that one more time,

Beautiful in-breath in through the nose,

And a long breath out through your mouth.

Allowing your breath to find its natural rhythm,

Feeling your breath coming in and going out.

I want you to feel your body settle.

Feeling your shoulders relax,

Your heart soften,

And your mind be beautiful and free.

Right now,

You might be noticing some changes happening,

Whether it's in your physical body,

Your thoughts,

Or your emotions.

Sometimes change can feel exciting,

Like you're growing into the amazing person you're becoming.

But other times it can feel confusing,

Even a little overwhelming.

And that's okay.

Change can feel big,

But it's also a sign of your growth,

Your strength,

And your ability to handle new experiences.

Just like a plant grows with time,

Patience,

And care,

So do you.

When things feel tough,

Remember that challenges help you learn and grow stronger.

Your mind is like a muscle.

It gets stronger the more you practice,

And it's okay to make mistakes along the way.

Every step,

Even the hard ones,

Is part of your journey.

Now let's all place our left hand gently on our heart,

And our right hand resting on our belly.

And just like we were doing before,

I want you to feel your breath moving in and out.

This is your body.

This is your home.

Your beautiful safe space.

It is always here for you.

Now with each breath,

I want you to repeat these words in your mind.

I am strong.

I am learning and growing.

I can handle change with confidence.

These changes that you are experiencing is like a journey of becoming the person you're going to become.

These experiences through puberty isn't just about changes in your body.

It's about discovering who you are,

What you love,

And what makes you unique.

Each new day brings new experiences.

With each one,

You are learning,

Growing,

And becoming more you.

Remember,

Growth takes time.

Be patient with yourself,

And trust that you are exactly where you need to be.

Whenever you face challenges,

Know that you are learning.

That growth mindset means understanding that you can grow,

You can improve,

And you can always move forward.

Just like a tree starts from a small seed,

Every little step you take helps you grow taller,

Stronger,

And more confident.

Now let's take one more deep breath in through the nose.

And ever so slowly letting it go out through your mouth.

Now gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Feeling the strength in your body.

Feeling the calm inside you.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and know that you are enough just as you are.

With each change,

You are becoming even more of the amazing person you're meant to be.
