Earth is our home.
It is a rock floating through a tiny section of seemingly infinite space.
So far it has not yet been confirmed that there are other beings like us floating on another rock somewhere else in this infinite space.
So this is what we've got.
And we're living on this floating rock together.
So let's explore this rock that we call Earth,
That we call home.
Then we will go into a reflective space where we tune into our inner relationship with Earth.
You are invited to keep a journal handy to write down any insights that may come to you.
Earth is an archetypal symbol of stability.
It's always there.
It has unconditional presence.
As far as we can tell,
It was here long before we got here.
It will be here long after we're gone.
Earth is our foundation.
It's the firmament.
It's the ground upon which we stand.
It is the original kitchen where we acquire,
Harness,
And alchemize our life sustenance of food and drink.
It is the original laboratory where we source all medicine and technology.
It is the foundation from which we source all shelter.
Earth is highly responsive to all the other elements around it.
The planet Earth consists of various types of land known as soil.
The soil that exists in an environment that's windy will have a very different quality than the soil from a region that is humid.
The Earth takes on certain qualities of other elements around it and responds to those other elements.
So it has this beautiful combination of being responsive and receptive while also being firm and stable.
A dynamic balance of the archetypal feminine and masculine energies.
It also has its mercurial aspects where it can shake things up with earthquakes,
Avalanches,
And mudslides.
But when it's not busy agitating,
It appears to be this very solid,
Straightforward,
Mundane element.
Most of its changes are imperceptible because they happen over long time frames like a season,
A year,
A decade,
A century,
A millennium,
An eon.
Whereas humans are more likely to experience the shifts caused by fire,
Air,
And water instantly.
Earth is the one thing that unites us all.
Our bodies,
All in some form or fashion,
Return to the Earth.
It is the great unifier,
The great nurturer,
The great mother.
There is this capacity,
This potential to have a very beautiful balance between all the organic matter of the Earth and all sentient beings to live in harmony with the Earth.
To the extent that we as human stewards take care of Earth,
Our home.
We have an abundance of land and food,
More than enough to feed every single person on this planet.
Whenever you're feeling stuck in brain fog,
Confusion,
Or unresolved conflict,
It's helpful to go out in nature and be one with Earth.
Soak in the beauty and splendor and power of Earth.
Tune into the rhythms of Earth,
Sunrise and sunset,
The seasonal shifts,
The times of sowing and times of harvest.
Now we're going to go into our inner landscape.
What is inside your Earth?
As you inhale deeply,
Feel the expansion of your lungs as they press into your vital organs.
As you exhale,
Feel the relaxation of your organs as they settle into their resting position.
Notice the peace of your body as you sit or stand or lay on your back or walk steadily.
Notice the active quality of your breath,
Your pulse,
The rhythm of your pace if you're walking.
Notice the sensations of your body as it makes contact with a surface such as a floor,
A mat,
A cushion,
A chair,
Pavement,
Grass.
Imagine a glowing ball of light at the crown of your head.
Allow that orb to slowly scan your entire body from your head to your toes.
Notice if there are any points of tension or blockage.
Breathe into any stuck points that emerge in your awareness as you slowly scan through your body.
Leave an extra dose of light in those points as you slowly scan through every muscle,
Nerve,
Bone,
Organ,
Vein,
Artery.
Once you bring your awareness to your feet and toes,
Imagine the feet of all who have walked the earth before you and all who will walk the earth after you.
Bring your awareness to an inner stillness that is ancient,
Primordial,
Eternal.
Bring your awareness to that unconditional presence within you.
Imagine walking barefoot on the ground.
What landform would most delight your bare feet?
Warm sand,
Red clay,
Rich black soil,
Cool hard tundra,
Damp swamp,
Crisp snow,
Hardy rocks on a mountain path,
Something else.
Choose your ideal temperature and texture for your bare feet to touch.
Imagine the sturdiness of that ground beneath your feet.
Imagine a current of energy surging from the ground through your entire body.
Now bring your awareness to how you are being supported in this moment by the surface you are currently in relationship with,
Be it a floor,
A cushion,
A sidewalk,
Grass,
And so on.
Inhale deeply and exhale deeply.
In a moment,
You will receive a series of questions to reflect on.
If you feel inspired to,
You can opt to write the answers down in a journal.
These questions are about your environment in the broadest sense of the term.
All your earthly matters,
Which can include intimate relationships and all the people you regularly encounter,
Such as friends,
Neighbors,
Family,
Colleagues,
Public servants.
Your environment can encompass your immediate living space,
Your town,
State,
Province,
Region,
Country.
It can include your lifestyle,
Diet,
Hobbies,
Rituals,
Materials.
Listen to the following questions and notice the answers as they arise in your consciousness.
What in your environment provides foundational support in your life?

In what ways do you tend to be the most responsive to your environment?
What excites you,
Agitates you,
Triggers you?

And the last question.
