Welcome and thank you for joining me for this Lectio Divina,

A practice of spiritual reading.

There are four sections including reading,

Meditation,

Prayer,

And contemplation.

There will be a prompt for each of these movements.

At the end of our time together,

There will be the sounding of a bell,

Which will signify the conclusion of our Lectio Divina practice.

I invite you for the next 20 minutes to remove any distractions and come to a quiet and a centered place where you can listen with your heart and your mind to what the Spirit would speak to you through this very short passage of Scripture.
