Welcome to this Durga Mantra.
Durga is the name of a powerful goddess,
And Om is a spiritual sound representing the universe.
You can either understand the spiritual aspect of this mantra or simply use the mantra as a way to practice being right here,
Right now.
Practicing being really in the moment.
And this is what I would suggest you do during this meditation.
Simply allow yourself to be in the moment,
Observing the sounds,
Observing yourself without judging,
Without labeling,
Without putting any tags to the sounds or the observation you will make.
So simply set an intention to be in the moment and find yourself a comfortable place to sit,
With your legs crossed,
With your spine back,
Neck and head erect,
With your hands on your laps,
With your palms facing upward if you want to feel lifted,
And downward if you want to feel grounded.
And as we always do with meditation,
We start by observing our breath,
Our normal breathing pattern.
Don't change anything,
Simply notice the rhythm of your breath.
Notice if it's fast or slow.
If it's deep or shallow,
Simply notice.
And on your own time when you feel ready,
You can close your eyes and bring your entire attention to your breath.
Simply notice the air coming in through your nose,
Down your throat,
Inflating your lungs,
Maybe inflating your abdomen.
And notice your abdomen and lungs rising and falling with each breath.
Simply observe.
Allow yourself to connect with your breath,
To feel in tune with your breathing pattern.
And as always with meditation,
If you catch yourself engaging with a thought or judging a thought,
Congratulate yourself,
Because this is what meditation is about.
This is about observing.
And gently bring your attention back to your breath,
Or later on to the mantra of salvation.
And I invite you now to bring your attention to this mantra.
Just allow the sounds to come to you.
Simply be here and now and observe.
And for the next moment,
You will not hear the sound of my voice.
And the absence of my voice together with this mantra will help you to connect completely and fully to the here and now.

And as we are about to bring this meditation to an end,
On your own time when you feel ready,
Just go back to your normal breathing pattern observation.
Simply reconnect with your breath,
Observe your breath,
And notice if your breathing pattern is in any way different from where we started.
And when you feel ready,
You can slowly open your eyes and look around and bring your attention to an object,
A color or shape.
Be fully present with this thing.
Thank you.
