Hello,
This is Olivia Joy St.
Clair.
Today's meditation is intended to instill a reverence for nature and a feeling of peace to calm your mind and body.
As we begin to journey inward,
I invite you to settle into a comfortable position and close down your eyes.
Let's take a slow,
Easy breath into the belly and gently let it go.
Become aware of your body.
Slowly scan through from head to toe,
Noticing any areas of tension.
Breathe into those spaces with kindness,
Breathing in slowly,
Deeply,
And releasing.
Take another deep inhale and release.
Feel yourself becoming lighter as any energy that has weighed you down now releases its hold.
If you can become even a little bit more comfortable,
I invite you to do so now.
Let your jaw relax.
Feel any tension release from your forehead and your brow.
Give your shoulders a gentle roll.
Slowly breathe in and follow your breath on its journey through your body.
Feel in,
Greeting this moment,
Greeting yourself,
Gently breathing,
Just being.
Dearest soul,
When was the last time you wandered through a wildflower field,
Watching bees and butterflies swirl together in a beautiful dance?
Do you remember turning your eyes upward toward a dark night sky filled with so many stars they took your breath away?
Nature engages our senses,
Awakening creativity,
Wonder,
And joy.
Breathe in deeply,
Then gently let go.
In times of overwhelm from overthinking,
Uncertainty,
Or self-doubt,
The natural world nurtures you with its energy.
Imagine yourself walking in a mossy forest,
Your footsteps hushed,
Or on a warm beach kicking your feet through the waves,
Or a favorite place of your choosing.
Feel the peace that is here.
Allow everything to become calm and answers to become clear.
We can find ourselves in a quiet connection with nature,
In feeling our ancient sun warm our upturned faces,
Feeling the wind that has blown across the earth for centuries now touch our skin,
And the sound of waves that have washed against sand and rock for millennia.
There is a wisdom imparted in communities of trees,
Weathering countless storms,
And rich with life in their roots.
A haven for birds taking refuge in their branches,
Then taking flight high above our heads with a bird's eye view,
Reminding us there are always different perspectives from which to view situations.
Allow this moment to be a sanctuary from the business of timetables and to-do lists.
Come to nature and be still.
Feel its rhythms and harmony align with its cycles of days and seasons of sunrise and moonrise.
Reconnect with your being.
Let your mind fill with memories of fireflies floating in the night sky like stars falling down to earth,
Reminding you that you are made of stardust.
This is a place free of dissension,
A place where everything is interconnected and intertwined for a common good.
In nature,
You are reminded that abundance is all around.
Infinite grains of sand on a beach,
Air to breathe,
Raindrops,
Flower petals.
There is a deep sense of calm here,
Knowing that you are a part of this environment,
Knowing that you belong.
Imagine now that you are growing energetic roots into the earth and becoming intertwined with this natural life,
With earth energy,
Giving,
Receiving,
Nurturing,
Being nurtured,
Finding peace and clarity,
Finding yourself.
Breathe in now and gently release.
Feel the quiet of this moment.
Boiling out the cloudiyah chhyana.
.
.
Take a deeper breath now into your belly and release,
Sighing it out.
Gently come back to your space.
Tune on into sounds in the distance or nearby.
Land back into this moment,
Gratitude filling your being,
Feeling the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.
Move your head from side to side.
Give your fingers and your toes a wiggle.
Become present with your surroundings.
Feel the lightness of your being.
I invite you to take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Open your eyes to this day and all of its beauty.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
May your day be filled with joy and wonder.
Namaste.
