This is the part of you that is seeking to feel safe, soothed and seen, and above all loved unconditionally - by you. Spend some time connecting with the little girl inside of you and experience the insights that will bring more unconditional self-love and deep healing into your daily life. *This meditation was recorded for those who identify as she/her.

This guided meditation is designed for you to connect more deeply and more intimately with your inner child.

Our inner child is the essence of us.

It is the part of us that has been looking for love and connection since the day that we were born.

Although our parents did their best to give us exactly what it is we need.

Beyond being an actual child,

This part of us still remains.

When our inner child feels safe,

Soothed and seen,

We are able to move through life feeling more whole,

Safe,

Soothed and seen.

So beginning by finding a comfortable position,

You can do this meditation lying down or sitting up.

Finding yourself somewhere where you won't be disturbed and we'll begin by taking three deep breaths.

So breathing in deeply through the nose,

Feeling yourself expanding,

Filling up with fresh oxygen.

And exhale,

Letting go,

Breathing out through the mouth,

Releasing anything you've been holding on to.

Breathing in through the nose,

Feeling your body expanding.

And exhaling through the mouth,

Really sighing out any tension,

Any thoughts that you do not no longer need.

Inhaling through the nose and exhale,

Really just sinking yourself into the present moment,

Continuing to connect to the breath.

Long,

Slow,

Deep inhales and complete full exhales.

Now beginning to scan your body from the top of your head.

Moving downwards,

Imagine any tension you've been holding on to,

Any stuck or stagnant energy simply melting.

As you scan from your head all the way down your body,

Down your arms,

Your torso,

Giving yourself permission to be fully relaxed.

Melting all the way down your legs until you reach the soles of your feet.

Feeling your body heavy on the surface below you.

Feeling yourself whole,

Held,

Completely relaxed.

Allowing any thoughts to come and go as they need to.

Returning to your breath,

Returning to the physical sensation of being.

And now I'd like you to imagine you're in your favorite place in nature.

Imagine yourself walking mindfully,

Looking around,

Taking in the scenery,

Taking in the temperature of the day.

Noticing the smells,

Noticing the sounds.

Feeling yourself becoming more relaxed as you walk slowly in this beautiful surrounding,

Your dream place in nature.

And as you continue to walk,

You feel more and more at peace.

Until you reach a clearing up ahead,

You begin to walk towards it.

And as you step through the clearing,

You arrive at your family home.

The home that you grew up in.

Noticing the garden,

The house,

All the little details.

Really painting this entire picture as clearly as possible.

Taking in the sounds and smells and the energy of the space.

Walking through your old family garden.

And then as you turn around,

You see her.

You see yourself as a child.

You notice her playing in the garden.

Notice what she's wearing.

What is she doing?

What is she playing with?

How is she moving?

You stand there and watch her for a few moments.

Smiling as you take in her energy.

Her loving presence.

Her playfulness.

And then she notices you.

She's so happy to see you.

And her eyes light up as they meet yours.

She comes running over to you.

And you crouch down and she gives you a big hug.

She's been waiting for you to arrive.

And you wrap your arms around her.

And as you do,

You feel her body soften and relax.

She feels so safe in your arms.

And you just hold her for a few more moments.

And she curls up onto your lap as you sit down.

She's so excited that you're finally here,

That you're finally with her.

And you ask her,

My darling,

What is it that you need?

What is it that you need me to do?

How can I love you more?

You allow her to answer.

You keep asking her these questions.

Opening yourself up to receive whatever it is that she says.

Just spending some time with her,

Really getting to know what it is that she needs from you.

What it is that she's been missing.

As you continue to connect with her,

You feel the love in your heart just growing and expanding.

She is part of you.

And you give her a hug.

And you tell her that you're never going to leave her again.

That you're never going to abandon her again.

That you're here now and you're not going anywhere.

And anything else that you need to tell her,

Go ahead and tell her now.

And then you give her one more hug.

And as you hug her,

You feel her becoming you.

Becoming one with you.

The spirit of your inner child within.

And you give yourself gratitude for being the parent to her.

The parent that your parents didn't know how to be.

And you walk back into nature.

Feeling integrated.

Feeling whole.

Feeling safe,

Seen and soothed.

By your most magnetic self.

Taking your time to come back out of this whenever you feel it is complete.

And as you move throughout the rest of your day,

Remembering this beautiful inner child that lives inside of you.

Remembering that she has needs and that you are the only one who can meet them for her.

The more we practice this,

The more powerful it becomes.

And the more integrated we become.

And the closer we become to the highest version of ourself in every way.
