Hello and welcome to this awesome morning breath session.
Practicing breathing exercises in the morning can have such a positive impact on how you act and feel each day.
This is the awesome thing about our breath and this morning we are going to use it.
Firstly,
Let's get nice and cozy as we settle in to a comfy seated position.
Make sure your back is nice and straight but not too rigid.
What's important here is that you my friend are comfortable.
Go ahead and make any last movements and when you are ready you can close your eyes.
By just simply noticing our breath we can manage the way we feel and how we want to feel throughout the day,
Creating a sense of calm within ourselves and giving us a beautiful clear mind.
The kind of mind we love to have a great day.
We begin by just noticing the breath.
See how it enters the nose and then leaves the mouth.
Gently into the nose and softly out through the mouth.
Taking the breath deep down into the belly and just allow the breath to flow out.
For this morning's breath session we are going to breathe in for a count of four and breathe out for a count of four too.
But don't worry if you can't go as far as four,
Just try your best.
Together let's take a breath in and then a breath out and all together breathing in for one two three four breathe out three two one in two three four out three two one in two three four out three two in two three four out three two one.
Continuing by yourself.
Breathing in for a count of four and breathing out for a count of four.
The next breath out,
Simply bring your breath back to a natural normal pace.
No need to count anymore,
Just simply sit and observe.
Maybe noticing any changes in the body or any changes in the mind.
Practicing breath first thing in the morning can really help our body and mind to feel prepared for the day ahead.
When you are ready you can slowly become aware of your surroundings.
You can make some small movements with your head,
With your head,
Gently rolling it from side to side.
Make some soft movements with your fingers and toes and when you are ready you can softly open your eyes.
Well done.
You can use this type of breath exercise at any time anywhere.
Have a fantastic day today.
