Hello everybody and welcome to mindfulness.

Practicing mindfulness can make us feel nice and calm.

Mindfulness is a wonderful practice which makes us become aware of the present moment,

This very moment that we are in right now.

To begin,

I kindly invite you to find a comfortable seat and then once you are ready you can softly close your eyes.

Being mindful simply helps us to notice what is happening right and how we are feeling in this very moment.

We can become powerful when we focus on the here and now.

Let's begin by noticing the floor beneath us,

Noticing which body parts are in contact,

How it feels to be seated against the surface of the floor,

The chair.

Notice the sounds around you by listening to the here and now.

Just listen and notice the sounds of this moment.

Let's notice our breath,

See how it enters the nose and leaves the mouth.

The breath gently flows in to the belly allowing it to naturally flow back.

Where do you feel the breath in the body right next?

Your sense of taste.

Focus your attention inside your mouth.

Perhaps there is a taste on your tongue or maybe there's no taste at all.

We'll become mindful of what we can see.

Allow your eyes to open and just look out in front of you.

No need to turn your head or move about but just simply notice the things that are right in front of you right now.

When you are ready you can close your eyes again.

Connecting now with the sense of touch.

Feel different feelings in any part of your body and just notice the feeling.

No need to move or touch but simply be mindful of your body and how it feels right now.

Checking in with our senses can really help us to become mindful of this present moment.

This very moment.

If you ever feel like you want to become more mindful,

You can use these helpful tips anytime,

Anywhere.

Slowly make some last small movements.

Wiggle those fingers and toes.
