Hi,

This is Erica Garcia.

I figured we'd take a quick five-minute reset to get grounded.

Sometimes we just have stuff going on and we just really just need to dial in and pull it together.

And there's no better way than to do it feeling much more grounded and connected with the earth.

So place your left hand on your belly and your right hand on your heart.

Let's sit up nice and tall with our feet on the ground.

If you have your shoes on,

You can feel free to take your shoes off and connect with the earth.

And let's just connect with the breath.

Sitting nice and tall,

Breathe deeply.

Feel the earth beneath you and the air around you.

Notice the sensations that you're feeling.

And if you've taken this moment,

Then you probably just need to just settle in.

So wherever your mind is wandering,

Can you just bring it,

Bring your focus to your breath,

Bring your focus to your nose and just connect with the inhale and with the exhale breath.

And as you hold on to your bodies,

Feel it like a hug soothing you.

Allow the chin to fall down to the chest and just connect with your natural breath.

Feeling the inhale breath,

Just let it fill your lungs.

Feel the expansion of your diaphragm.

It kind of softens the body,

But not as much as the exhale.

Notice the exhale breath.

Notice the difference.

The body really releases that tension with the exhale breath.

Can you make your exhales slower than your inhales?

The connection with your hands and your body reminding you of your presence,

Your physical casing,

Your bones,

Your skin,

Your cells.

How about we bring some fresh air,

Healing,

Peace,

And even love for the self with each inhale breath.

Let it in.

And whatever it is that's on your mind that has you troubled,

See if you could just pull it physically out of your body with each exhale.

See it literally leave you as you exhale it out.

Feel the earth beneath your feet.

Feel the sustainability and the stability of your presence here.

Just know that you matter.

You're here for a purpose.

It's okay to get rocked sometimes,

But it's when we get rocked that we come back to this space,

This moment,

This now stable,

Pulling the energy from the earth,

From the bottoms of our feet,

Up our legs,

Up our spine,

All the way out of the roof of our heads,

All the way out to that great mystery.

And then pulling in the clarity,

The patience,

The compassion that we need as we pull it in from the tops of our heads into the bodies,

All the way down the spine,

Back into the earth,

So that we can pull those qualities in with our inhales and into our presence.

Not letting the mind distractions destroy us from our past,

Destroy us from our path,

Destroy us from where we is that we want to go,

Or the task at hand.

You can do it.

Just get centered.

The answers you seek are there.

If you just sit in stillness and breathe,

Trust the breath.

Trust the silence.

The answers will come.

Breathe.

Let the breath move you.

Let it soothe you.

Let it bring you peace.

Let it go.

Wonderful.

On the next breath,

Let's reconnect.

Let's lift our heads,

Open up our eyes,

Take a deep inhale breath.

You may even hug yourself.

Your arms are already across your body,

So just give yourselves a big hug,

Smile,

And go on with your day.

You got this.
