Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

And breathe out.

As you do so,

Sit back.

Calm down into your body's weight and volume.

And soften into the surface beneath you.

Let it support you.

Sit back some more.

Allow yourself as much space as you need in this moment.

Give yourself permission to rest.

Breathing out any shoulds,

Shouldn'ts,

Should've dones,

And what ifs you've been carrying.

Become aware of the steadiness beneath you.

And the solid ground below.

Notice it's here for you.

Now.

In this moment.

Let it move you back towards balance.

In your own time.

Gently sense the space outside.

Out to the horizons and beyond.

Notice the spaciousness.

Let it be there.

Breathe with the spaciousness.

Again.

As you sit back.

Allowing everything to be as it is.

Come down into your breath.

The expansion of the in.

The release of the out.

Let it up and flow.

In your own time.

Soften the way you are being with yourself.

And lean back into the warmth of loving kindness.

Allow it to enfold you.

Breathe loving kindness in and out.

Let it nourish you.

Let the gentle space around you support you.

The air soft on your cheek.

Supported by steadiness.

Breathing with spaciousness.

Surrounded by loving kindness.

Allow yourself to gently open to the larger space around you.

Stretching seamlessly to the horizons and beyond.

And soften into becoming one with the larger whole.

I was not that into this meditation...until I heard the words โ€œloving kindness.โ€ These are the exact words that I use for my higher power and when I heard them my head stopped itโ€™s chatter, my body relaxed and my heart expanded...Sometimes we think that words donโ€™t matter so much but in this case you changed the direction of my day from self-centered fear to compassion, generosity, and trust/faith.
