This short exercise is based on a Neuro-Linguistic Programming technique called 'Mapping Across'. NLP can create conscious changes by examining not the content of our thoughts, but the 'how' of our experience of them. When we work with how we experience our thoughts, we can find that associated non-resourceful states (such as worry) naturally change as a result.
