Let's start by finding a comfortable seated position.

One way your spine is long,

Your posture is active but your body is relaxed.

You can rest your hands on your knees or in your lap,

Whichever is comfortable.

And close your eyes and just start to relax into this posture.

Allow yourself the stillness.

Scan your body for places of tension.

And if you find some,

Try to send a calming warm energy into those spaces.

And just feel yourself starting to melt into this posture.

Allowing the relaxation to wash over you now.

Feeling calm and peaceful.

Nice and quiet.

And let's take three deep breaths,

Nice and easy.

In through your nose and let them out through your mouth.

You may even let out a nice sigh with your exhales.

And your only job right now is to just let go.

You are allowed to relax here.

If you need it,

I give you the permission.

The permission to let go of all of your thoughts.

Just go ahead and set those aside.

You won't need them right now.

And if you'd like,

You can always pick them up again afterwards.

I invite you to put your hand on your heart for just a moment and take a minute right now to just feel grateful that you are alive.

Your life is a gift.

It is precious and it is meant to be savored and felt and experienced.

You have an opportunity every day to be happy.

To find the simple pleasure in a kiss from your pet or laugh with your friend.

How good these things feel if only we let them.

If we feel them deeply into our hearts rather than allowing them to pass us right by.

We can spend so much of this precious life worrying and feeling unhappy,

But it's all here for you.

Let it in,

Let in the love.

Take moments to pause throughout your day and honor this life for allowing you to still be here for another minute because that's how fast it can all change.

Move slowly and with intention as you navigate every inch of your day.

Move your life with respect for yourself,

For others,

And this planet that allows you to inhabit her.

Take deep breaths often.

In fact,

Let's take another one right now.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Show care for the people and the animals in your life and let them know you love them.

The more love you give,

The more you get in return.

And love yourself.

Love yourself a lot.

Sometimes we think we have to be hard on ourselves in order to be better,

But this is where we're wrong.

We can work on being the best we can while loving ourselves for exactly who we are right now without judgment and without disapproval.

Imagine how much more you would accomplish if you just let yourself off the hook.

If you stop being so hard on yourself,

If you stop putting so many expectations on you,

You can do what you want and feel what you feel without judging every move you make,

Without telling yourself you haven't done enough.

You're allowed to just be happy.

You're allowed to do what you want.

It doesn't have to be hard or complicated.

None of it does.

I know some things seem really stressful.

I know sometimes anxiety gets the best of you and it can feel very consuming and overwhelming.

It can feel like such a dark place and you feel stuck,

Like there's no way out,

Like it might just consume you and you're not sure what will bring you back.

And that's part of being human.

We get to experience this life and sometimes it feels really heavy,

But in those moments we can step back.

We can move away and create some distance between ourselves and that experience that we are having.

When you start to feel overwhelmed and you could use a healthy dose of perspective,

Try this.

Imagine planet Earth spinning in outer space.

See that glowing blue marble with swirls of white.

Earth is moving through space at approximately a thousand miles per hour and we are tiny beings on this planet.

Isn't that incredible to think about?

Right now we are in the middle of outer space.

Just let that sink in for a second.

Our lives are so significant and yet insignificant at the same time.

Why waste this precious life being consumed by all the things that are insignificant?

As humans we are meant to experience feelings.

Some of us allow these feelings to take over or we push them away,

Wanting to avoid them altogether because they can seem too painful.

But there is so much beauty and growth in that experience of allowing.

And we don't have to get carried away with our feelings.

We can let them move through us rather than allowing them to take over and take us down.

It's as if you were standing on the shore and you saw a wave about to roll in.

With your feet firmly planted into the sand,

You stretch your arms out long to either side of you.

You puff out your chest with conviction and strength and you say,

I'm ready.

I allow this wave to roll through me.

And then almost as quickly as it rolls in,

It's gone.

And you are still standing.

You are still firmly planted.

It was just a wave.

It comes and it goes.

Bring your hand back up to your heart and just hold it there really sweetly and tenderly.

How does it feel to show yourself some love?

How does it feel to hold your own heart with care and compassion?

Just feel into the love that's coursing through your whole body and know that this is always here for you.

Whenever you are feeling overwhelmed,

Just put your hand on your heart.

Just breathe and just feel it.

This is why we are here.

This is what there is to do.

Just allow it.

Use this life to experience more joy and more love.

Make it your mission to enjoy this ride,

To feel the beauty and the grace in all of it,

To feel grateful for your ability to feel,

To be here,

To be seeing all of this,

To be a witness to your own experience.

Say out loud right now,

I am grateful.

I am present.

I am peaceful.

I am love.

Again say out loud,

I am grateful.

I am present.

I am peaceful.

I am love.

Let's take one more big inhale in through your nose,

Fill up all the way to the top of your head.

And push it out through your mouth and start to come back into your body.

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

Slowly start to move your head from side to side.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Namaste.
