This special short guided meditation for forgiveness is to help you forgive another person, or yourself, for something that has happened so that you can release it and move forwards with freedom. I invite you to give yourself these 10 minutes whenever you feel you have something to release and that you will benefit from the process of forgiveness. And to give this little gift to anyone you know who could benefit from these 10 minutes too. This meditation is set to music using Alpha waves to help you enter a deeper meditative state, bringing you calm, mind-body integration and learning. Please come back and listen again and again, whenever you need this forgiveness guidance. Blessings, Nikki x

Welcome to this meditation to help you forgive another person or yourself for something that has happened so that you can release it and move forwards with freedom.

I'm your guide Nikki Trott.

Please find a comfortable position sitting or lying where you feel relaxed.

Whatever works for you in this moment today.

And now take a beautiful breath in through your nose and then release out through your mouth.

Take another deep breath in deep into your stomach and then breathe out letting go of any thoughts in your head.

Take a few more breaths in the same way feeling any tension flowing out of your body with your exhale.

If you haven't already close your eyes gently.

Now switch to a softer calm inhaling and exhaling through your nose.

Bring the person you want to forgive to your mind.

Let the situation which hurt you arise and watch it happen again.

Allow your feelings to arise and give them space.

Where in your body do you feel these feelings?

What are the sensations like?

Narrow down where you feel the sensations to specific points and place your hands on top of them.

Breathe in deeply sending your breath to this point in your body.

Feel that your deep breath is traveling to each point one after another.

As you breathe out see the tension that you hold towards this person leaving your body in the exhaled air.

Continue this process and feel the magic of the cleansing nature of your breath.

Let your deep breath travel to the next point and again breathe out seeing the tension you hold towards this person leaving your body in the exhaled air.

Now allow your attention to flow over your body from head to toe.

Do you feel any more sensations related to hurt anywhere in your body?

If you do locate them.

Breathe in deeply washing over your points of tension and breathe out exhaling the tension away.

If you like you can pause this meditation here and continue this process yourself as many times as you want until you feel a refreshing lightness and relief.

Or repeat this short meditation again from start to finish whenever you feel there's more for you release.

Don't hold anything inside of you.

When you feel ready see the person you are ready to forgive in front of you.

Allow yourself to replace any negative feelings with compassion.

See that your own strength is not dwindled by their presence.

This person does not have any control over your mindset.

Compassionately understand that the other person has acted out of fear and hurt and that you do not wish to carry their fear and hurt.

With you any longer feel a healing light come over you starting from your face relaxing your facial muscles washing over your head and down your neck and chest running down your body down your arms feel the light continue to wash all over you and down your legs and feet filled with love and compassion.

Now see the healing light flow from your heart to the other person's.

Allow yourself to soften and let go.

Let the healing light wash away any last tension you might feel.

Surrender to the release.

Repeat after me saying these words to yourself.

I am ready to release this situation.

Just like me.

This person has fears.

And this person has hurt.

I empathize with this person.

I am ready to release this situation.

I am ready to allow only the lessons to continue with me on my journey.

Repeat after me saying these words to the other person.

You have hurt me.

I have carried your pain with me.

I am no longer willing to carry your pain.

I forgive you.

You are free.

I am free.

I forgive you.

And now repeat these affirmations to yourself and take them forward with you into your day.

I am complete.

I choose how I feel.

I choose freedom.

May you be happy and free.

May you be happy and fulfilled.

May you be free and may you be full of love.

Take a beautiful deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Feel a smile come over your face.

And now slowly open your eyes and thank yourself for taking this time.

It was my honor to guide you.
