Hello beautiful soul and welcome to this reducing stress for beginners guided meditation practice.
I want to start off today's practice by acknowledging you for showing up to meditate today.
And more importantly for showing up to connect more deeply with yourself.
When first learning how to meditate you may come up against a busy mind.
You may experience a voice inside your head that tells you you're not good at meditation or that you can't meditate because you can't quiet the mind.
Or you may simply feel restless and unable to be still and simply relax.
And I just want you to know that all of those things are completely normal in the beginning of your meditation practice and journey.
And just know that whatever comes up for you today is what's meant to be released or to be acknowledged and witnessed.
And all that is required of you is to show up and simply do your best.
Now with that said I'm going to guide you into a simple but profound breathing exercise.
And I'm going to invite you now to find a comfortable seated or lying down position.
And once you have found your space I will invite you to slowly close down your eyes.
And now I would like you to find your center bringing your attention inward towards yourself.
And just follow my voice as I prepare you for the breathing exercise.
So what we're going to do today is breathe in calm and breathe out stress.
And we're going to do 10 rounds.
Don't worry I will guide you through the whole experience.
All I want you to do is focus on breathing and listen for my cues.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Doing so good you're halfway there keep going.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Inhale calm.
Exhale stress.
Last one inhale calm.
And exhale stress.
Amazing job.
Now you can let the breathing exercise go.
Just return to the normal rhythm and pace of your breath.
And before we complete today's meditation practice I just want you to observe any changes that have occurred for you.
Either physical,
Mental or emotional.
How do you feel compared to before you started this practice today?
And it's totally okay if you don't notice any shifts or changes right away.
Meditation is a process.
So you may experience benefits right away but it also may take time and practice.
Alright gorgeous soul now it is time to start coming slowly out of your meditative state.
Start by noticing and sensing the room around you.
Slowly wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Can rock your head from side to side.
And when you're ready there is no rush,
You may open your eyes.
Thank you so much for joining me today beautiful soul in this reducing stress for beginners guided meditation practice.
I hope you feel more calm,
At ease and peaceful within your own mind and body.
Come back to this practice anytime you feel you need to reduce the stress in your life and otherwise take good care,
Love and light and namaste.
