All right,

So officially welcoming you to the manifestation Q&A.

I'm so excited to have you all here with me and we're going to kind of jump right in with this today.

So I want to start by just sharing this little piece of information that's been coming up for me that I've been wanting to share with all of you.

So recently I've been in the books that I've been reading and the work that I've been doing on myself.

I've been coming across this concept in this practice of not necessarily shifting my thoughts and my emotions,

But simply accepting them and sitting in them.

For a very long time if I had a thought that was,

I felt bad or negative or I had a negative emotion,

I'd quickly think,

Oh,

How can I shift this so that it's positive?

How can I turn this around?

How can I move this forward?

And what I realized,

You know,

I've been reading these books and talking about a lot of what's been coming up is emotions and accepting the emotions and the analogy of riding the wave of those emotions and allowing them to come up and then allowing them to move on and to naturally just embrace the flow of whatever's showing up for you.

So I've been reading this and then kind of putting it into practice for myself.

And within the last week or two,

I've really noticed a difference in not forcing positivity on myself,

Not forcing myself to say,

No,

Don't think like that.

That's not a good thought.

Let's shift it and change it.

And really just,

I do these two things.

One I read in one of my books and I loved it.

It was when we feel an emotion,

Whether it's anger or frustration or sadness,

Rather than saying to myself,

I am so frustrated right now.

I'm so angry.

Taking out the words I am and simply acknowledging that frustration.

And in the book,

She had suggested saying it three times.

And just you're just acknowledging like frustrated,

Frustrated,

Frustrated.

And for me,

That's been really beneficial because it's helping me want to acknowledge the emotions that I'm feeling and accepting them and saying,

This is just where I'm sitting right now.

But it's also taking up the judgment of I am frustrated.

And when I say that to me,

It says you are frustrated.

I am frustrated.

And now I must no longer be that.

Where if I just accepted and saying frustrated,

Frustrated is a feeling that I'm feeling in this moment and not making it good or bad,

But you're saying it is what it is.

And I've done the same thing where frustrated,

Frustrated,

Frustrated.

Sometimes I need to say it a lot more than three times or anger,

Anger,

Anger.

Like if I'm thinking about a certain topic and it's really starting to stir up a lot of emotions,

I've noticed that that little trick has helped me kind of,

Like I said,

Drive that wave of that emotion so that I'm not forcing myself to say,

Well,

I'm angry right now.

How can I feel happy?

How can I no longer feel angry?

Which is what I was doing to myself.

And I'd say,

No,

Allow myself to feel the anger and I can ride the wave into whatever emotion comes up next.

So that's one little thing that I really wanted to share with you guys.

And it's been really beneficial for me.

I'm just allowing myself to feel the emotions.

And as I've been doing this practice,

Whether it was doing that little trick or just a practice of accepting my emotions and where I'm at,

I've noticed I'm able to move through them a lot quicker.

And I'm not doing anything that's forcing me to think more positively.

I'm just allowing the flow and then allowing the next thought to come forward.

If I allow myself to feel it,

I can let it go and release it.

And it's not always simple or always easy,

But it's been really powerful and I've been doing it really consistently and getting more and more consistent with it and more and more acknowledging with what's going on in the moment.

It's been amazing.

So I want to share that with you guys as we talk about manifestation,

Because I think a lot of what happens is we think I'm not feeling good.

That means I'm out of alignment.

That means I'm going to manifest all this other stuff that I don't want to think about.

And that's not true.

We're human beings.

We're supposed to feel emotions that we can simply use those emotions as our guidance system,

Use this as our guidance system and just accept it and allow it to move through.

And the second thing is what I've been writing down in my intentions for this week is I intend to pay attention and I'm reading it.

That's why I'm looking away.

I intend to pay attention to the thoughts and ideas that come to me,

Realizing that I'm not the creator of my thoughts.

I am the acceptor of thoughts and ideas.

And simply,

I don't need to create new thoughts,

But if I can just accept what's coming to me,

Whether it's an idea to take action on a manifestation that I want,

Or just a thought and just allowing those thoughts to run through and realizing it's okay to have whatever thoughts are coming in,

Then simply the receiving mode that I'm in in the moment,

Let's ride that wave and move on to the next one.

So simply just being aware of I am the creator of my own reality,

But thoughts are simply just thoughts and they're thoughts that come to us.

And it's what we do with those thoughts that makes the difference.

Is it something we want to take action on or is it something we just want to like a cloud in the sky and let it float away?

And it's that practice is something I feel like I've heard for years,

But it feels like something finally clicked for me.

And I'm like,

Oh my God,

I think I get,

I get this a little bit more and I'm able to kind of put more of it into practice.

So I just really wanted to share that something just talked about my computer,

Share that with all of you,

Just because it's been really profound for me.

And as we go into this conversation of manifestation and being in alignment of,

We don't have to this,

We don't need to be in control.

Our job is to be the receiver and to know where we are in our alignment,

Whether we need to move forward with whatever we're receiving,

Or do we need to move through it and just let it go.

Awesome.

Okay.

So now I'm going to go back.

I saw you guys were in the chat,

So let's go back up.

Hi Rachel.

I just happened to be awake at 9 AM on a Saturday.

Oh,

Rachel.

I'm so glad you're here.

I believe spirit brought you here.

I believe spirit and universe brought us all here.

We all came together to co-create something really amazing and beautiful today.

Awesome.

Oh,

Rosemary.

I was happy to see you're on.

No one else is on that I was looking for.

Oh,

She started a new role and went to do an amazing job,

But it's out of my comfort zone.

That's awesome.

How do I manifest doing a great job along with doing the work through myself?

Well,

You do both.

And it starts with doing,

Working on yourself and really thinking about if you think about what,

So your work makes you uncomfortable,

Dive in and say,

Why does this make me uncomfortable?

Does it make you uncomfortable because it's work you don't know?

Are you starting something completely brand new?

Are you,

So how in a way are you stepping out of your comfort zone and really just acknowledging that and saying,

I'm stepping out of my comfort zone.

This is really uncomfortable for me because I don't know what I'm doing.

It's a brand new job.

It's a brand new industry.

I've got to learn new skills.

Whatever that might be,

Realizing that at first and saying,

How can I be more comfortable in this situation?

And as you're working on yourself,

Being comfortable in that job and doing a good job is going to come through.

So why do you believe?

So if you want to manifest doing a great job,

It makes me want to say,

Why do you believe you both do a good job?

Is there a belief in yourself that you're not good enough,

That you're not worthy,

That you're not capable of this work and really exploring that and saying,

What's going on?

So how do you manifest doing a good job,

Believing in yourself and believing in your own capability and what you're able to do?

And you will naturally do a good job because that's where you're going to be.

That's where your energy is going to be coming from.

Yeah,

I'm going to go back up.

I do that often.

Exactly.

That's the question I was about to ask today.

My question is around discernment and intuition.

Would you have any tips on that?

How to know whether some thoughts are the result of fear or intuition.

So if that's the case,

You're unsure,

You get a thought and you're like,

Is this alignment or out of alignment?

Is this my fear and my ego?

Or is this my intuition?

Not like we want to do the best thing to do is to make sure you're getting more into it with your intuition and really understanding what that alignment in your body feels like.

So if you get a thought or an idea that comes to you,

Taking a moment to pause and saying,

What space was I in before that thought arrived?

What was I thinking about?

What was I doing?

How was I feeling?

And if you're unsure,

This might not be the best answer,

But if you're unsure,

Sometimes the best thing to do is to simply take action and then just kind of see what happens because understanding your intuition,

It depends on how in tune with yourself you are.

And the more you practice,

The better you'll get because you'll have experiences that will go.

I thought I was in alignment.

I thought that was my intuition,

But that totally did not go the way that I wanted it to go.

And now I'm okay.

I learned from it and looking back and saying,

Okay,

That was not the best decision.

I clearly was out of alignment when I made that decision.

I want to do better next time.

So that's really what it is.

It's living this life experience and knowing sometimes I'm going to make a decision.

I'm going to think it's my intuition,

But it's really simply fear-based decision.

I follow a woman who,

This was a story she told years ago,

But it's a story that's always stuck with me.

She had a really,

Really huge fear of airplanes and flying,

And she worked through it and got past it.

And for years it was fine.

She'd do her work.

She'd get on the plane.

She'd do what she needed to do to settle herself in.

So years after thinking that this fear was gone,

She got on this plane and all of a sudden she got this hint that she needed to get off the plane.

And she was like,

Unsure if it was fear or if it was intuition.

She's like,

I've done all this work.

Maybe this is actually my intuition telling me to get off the plane.

So that's what she did.

She got off the plane.

She was afraid.

She was scared.

And what happened was she realized that was just her old fear coming up.

She's like,

It wasn't my intuition.

She had missed the,

She had missed the signal.

I'd misread it.

And then use that as a teaching tool and share that story with her students and people who are her followers.

And I just thought that was really profound in no matter how much we work on something,

It can still show up.

And if we're a little unsure,

Sometimes we just need to take the action to say,

Oh yeah,

That was just fear.

And now I'll know better for the next time.

And we have to have those experiences.

So I hope that's,

That's a little helpful for you as far as discerning what's your intuition and what's fear paying attention.

And before you take action.

So one of the things that I really work on now is taking action.

So I'm a big,

I get an idea.

I want to take action.

That's been my MO for a very long time.

But one of the things I'm really working on now is if I get an idea,

Not taking action right away,

Just kind of sitting for a moment.

And this is me and sit and really say,

Is this something I really want to do?

Or is this fear talking?

And I'm like,

I have to do something because I'm afraid.

So where is this action really coming from and just being more aware.

So for me,

It's taking space in between the thought and the idea coming in the action actually happening.

And then if I take the action,

I'm like,

That was fear-based or old,

That was true intuition.

And this is,

And then paying attention to how did I realize that this was intuition?

What,

In what way did my physical body react?

How did I mentally react?

Here's a really quick example.

Something super simple.

I woke up this morning.

Well,

Not woke up this morning,

But this morning we had a bunch of things to do.

Like I said,

I had some extra time this morning and I was like,

I need to do,

I'm going to be learning with you.

I'm going to clean the bathrooms,

Fold the laundry and there's something else.

Oh,

And do like sit at the computer and get work done.

And I sat there and I thought,

Okay,

These three things need to get done.

What do I feel I should do?

Because it's probably the best thing for me to do versus what is my intuition saying,

Go do this first.

Cause that's going to make you feel the best.

And it's simple,

Three simple little tasks,

Learning to use your intuition with these simple things is the best way to start.

Cause you kind of can,

You can play without a whole lot of fear of,

Oh,

I made the wrong decision.

Like I up and quit my job.

That was totally not my intuition.

Right.

Or it was like,

Oh,

I folded the laundry and I probably,

I would have felt,

I think I would have felt better cleaning the bathrooms.

It's simple little everyday decisions where you can kind of test and play and figure out what feels good for you.

And that's what I did.

I was like,

What am I,

What feels best for me to do right now?

What is my ego telling me you should do this because this is what you're supposed to do versus this is actually going to make you feel better if you accomplish this first.

And that,

That was kind of a fun little experiment that I did with myself this morning.

And I just learned,

Just focused on listening to my intuition and I felt really good with how my morning went.

I actually got the bathrooms cleaned and I was able to get like 30 minutes of work done that I wasn't planning on doing.

And I was like,

Oh,

This is fantastic before I hopped on the call with you guys.

So doing it with little,

Little tasks like that can really help you figure out what works for you.

It was a very long-winded answer.

Yes.

Oh,

Hi Laura.

Good to see you.

Oh,

You guys are saying hi to each other in the chat.

I love that so much.

Spirit brought me here first time.

Welcome Rick.

Need to retire due to life changes,

But not quite ready.

So close.

I feel it is time to take care of family and ministry.

So this is what I would say.

Abraham Hicks would say,

You're on the leading edge.

We're all on the leading edge.

You can kind of feel it like something's there.

Something's going to happen,

But it's not time for the decision yet.

So you don't feel a thousand percent like it is time.

It is go time sitting in that it's coming.

It's coming and just allow that it's coming to not bring up fear to put to excite you.

So I thought I shared this vision before I'll be real brief.

And the story is I have a vision of speaking on a really big stage and sharing my story and speaking about a big stage to like an arena of people.

It is a vision I've had for since 2016,

17 ish timeframe.

No,

No,

No.

Yeah.

2000.

Yes.

Somewhere around there.

2016,

2017.

And I don't know how it's going to come.

And in the very beginning,

When I first came like,

Oh my God,

It's going to happen.

Like right away,

It's only going to take like a year and I'm going to have this vision.

And over the years,

I've realized,

No,

Just keep doing the small things,

The little steps,

But never giving up on it,

Knowing it's going to happen.

It's going to happen.

Let me just allow it to naturally flow through.

So you know,

Retirement's coming,

It's on its way.

And make sure when the time and when the time is right,

You will know,

And it's going to feel great.

And you're going to be out.

You're like,

I made the right decision.

I didn't get out too early.

I did exactly what I was supposed to do.

So keep following those little breadcrumbs and doing what you can do to take care of your family and your ministry.

Now,

While you're still working on their little things you can do so that you're filling that part of your,

Your cup and saying,

Oh,

When the time is right,

Oh my God,

It's going to feel so great.

It's going to feel so good until then.

I'm just going to keep riding those waves and keep riding those things and keep doing what I need to do to feel good in the moment.

So good.

That's very exciting.

I'm excited for you.

Jane says,

I've asked for a raise and bosses have blown past the date.

They were going to get back to me.

All right,

Jane.

So you asked for a raise.

What is your reason behind asking for the raise?

What is your vibration and your energy around money?

If you haven't gotten it yet,

Whether it's from a boss,

From a paycheck or some other source of money coming to you,

Is there a,

I need like a neediness.

I'm like,

I need this raise.

I need this money because I've got to do XYZ.

I need,

I need,

I need.

If you're coming from a very needy space,

You're putting up a block and a wall of resistance to any money that's going to come to you.

So I'd back up and say,

I haven't gotten my race yet,

But I know I want this phrase because X,

Y,

And Z,

What do you believe getting that raise is going to do for you?

How is it going to make you feel?

And then focusing on,

Well,

I,

If I get this raise,

It's going to make me feel this it's going to give me this.

And then what I want you to do is I want you to backtrack and say,

Well,

How can I feel this way now?

And focusing on the emotions.

So I'm going to get this raise.

So maybe,

Maybe you can put it in the comments and we can dig a little deeper.

So I'm going to go into some other questions.

I kind of want to hear from you of what that might bring up for you.

And that was,

I'm sorry,

I blew past the name,

The chat's moving.

Jane.

So Jane,

Tell me a little bit in there in the chat,

What you believe that this raise is going to give you.

Cause I think we can dive a little bit deeper into that.

And I know you're not the only one who's feeling or thinking,

Or I think that this question will be helpful too.

Oh,

You're welcome.

Rosemary.

Yes.

Discernment.

Love it.

Rick for me best came after meditation.

Yeah.

So then before you make a big decision,

I'm guessing that's what you're talking about Laura.

Cause then I'm like missing the chat is coming well after I had a talk.

So I'm scrolling back up.

And don't make a decision till after you sit and meditate and knowing that you're in alignment.

And sometimes it's not easy.

No,

It's not.

I'm so glad this is helpful.

Oh,

Thank you,

Rosemary.

And you know,

It's funny.

I know that.

And I'm just waiting.

I'm almost biding my time and saying,

Well,

How can I continue to speak?

I can come on here live every week and teach I'm in Toastmasters.

I can get more speeches.

I started doing things so that I can do more speaking to give myself more experience and saying,

Well,

I'm still going to be able to speak.

This is going to be awesome.

Every time I speak,

It gives me energy.

I decided to retire earlier than expected.

That's amazing.

And that was,

I hope that was your intuition.

You said it was such a freeing feeling pacing.

That's your intuition.

You're welcome,

Rick.

I went to manifest my first book being sold to a great publisher.

I want to be a published author.

It's ready.

My agent is ready.

Sandy,

That's beautiful.

I love those positive aspects.

And the it's here,

I'm ready.

It's happening.

That's a really beautiful place to be.

So as you write that,

How does it feel?

Do you do you believe what you're writing or is it like,

I know I'm supposed to be writing this in the present tense,

But there's still a part of me that doesn't feel that it's quite time yet.

I don't say that because I questioned you.

I say that because I think that's really something good for all of us to do when we're writing our affirmations or our intentions of saying,

Do I truly believe this or do I need to reword this a little bit so that I can believe it?

Like,

Is there some subconscious that's like,

God,

I'm still not really good enough.

Because I've done that where I've written my affirmations or my intentions or my gratitude and been like,

Yeah,

I'm not fully feeling that today.

I might reword something to say,

You know,

Instead of saying,

I am financially free and I am enjoying the flow of money.

That's something I'm really personally focusing on for myself.

Some days I wake up and I'm like,

Ugh.

So I might say,

I'm enjoying the process of learning how to enjoy the flow of money.

I am enjoying the process of manifesting my first publisher and getting my agent and publishing my book.

So sometimes we just need to reword things.

So we don't want to have,

We want to make sure our belief aligns with what we're saying.

And sometimes some days that means we need to kind of go more general rather than being more specific.

Yeah,

That's really beautiful.

I'm excited for you.

I hope you'll come back and tell us when that happens.

Oh,

Rick,

Look at all the love for your retirement.

Thanks.

The increase gives me a sense of feeling of acknowledgement.

And I realized I was making less than others in my position.

I'm guessing that's what you're saying.

There is some anxiety about it.

Yeah.

Others in my position.

I figured great.

Okay.

That's beautiful.

Jane,

That you realize that.

So if you want to have a feeling of acknowledgement,

This raise is going to make me feel like somebody else is acknowledging me and all of the hard work that I'm doing.

How can you create that feeling of acknowledgement in your life right now without that breaks?

Because if you create that feeling of acknowledgement,

You're already there.

And the universe is like,

Oh,

Good.

You feel acknowledged.

Awesome.

Yeah.

Let me give you something else.

It's also going to make me feel acknowledged because manifestation is law of attraction.

We attract what we're already attracted like attracts Mike.

So if you're coming from a place of there's anxiety and you're worried about it and you're not currently feeling acknowledged,

That raises and going to come.

So take a step back.

Don't think about the raise,

Take that out of the equation and just focus on how can I feel acknowledged in my life right now,

Whether it's at home,

You know,

Maybe it's doing it for yourself.

So for me personally,

When I cleaned my house,

So I've really learned that I take a lot of pride in clean home.

I don't need to sit and be crazy about it,

But it means if I take five minutes to wash the dishes or wiped out a counter,

I'm good.

So I've actually been taking more time to do that because it,

It makes me feel accomplished and it makes me feel good.

And it makes me appreciate my home so much more than walking around that needs to be clean.

That needs to put away that's unorganized and I start nitpicking.

But if I can do one thing,

It makes me feel better.

So really focus on how can I feel acknowledged now?

And the universe is going to be like,

Oh,

You do you feel acknowledged.

Let me give you something else that also makes you feel this way.

I'm meeting with a Medicare specialist,

My text guy,

My 401k people to pull retirement closer to my reality.

That's beautiful.

Patty.

That's awesome.

So Jane,

Tell me how that makes you feel,

You know,

Kind of focusing on acknowledgement,

Part scary part exciting.

And I think when we make big changes in our lives,

So I'll go back to 2018 when I quit my full-time job,

It was scary.

It was one of the scariest decisions I ever made,

But it was so dang exciting.

And I was so confident in that decision.

I was like,

This is exactly what I need to do.

This is the exact moment that I need to do it.

And I'm scared out of my mind,

But I'm going to do it anyway,

Because I know what's the right thing to do.

That's growth.

So guys that that is you growing.

And as you make that big,

Scary and exciting decision,

You're going to grow.

And then you're going to make another big,

Scary and exciting decision.

It's going to be bigger than you ever thought you would make like,

I already made this one.

I survived that.

So therefore I can go through this and I can survive that.

And I'm going to grow even more.

And it gets just more and more exciting.

And it's going to be scary because they're going to be big things that go against society or go against maybe how you were taught or how you grew up or what your parents or friends or other family members might think because they're like,

Well,

That's different.

Yeah,

I guess what?

I'm happy being different.

I don't need to be the same because being the same has kept me here and I don't want to be here.

I want to grow.

And if you want to grow and do more and be more and get more in life,

You sometimes have to do those scary but exciting things.

That's magic.

It's like an adrenaline rush.

You're like,

Yes,

Let's do this.

Yeah.

Yes,

Jane,

Focus on acknowledgement inside instead of looking outside.

Because if you can acknowledge yourself,

You're like really good at what I do,

Whether it's work or something else,

Do it.

For me,

I just completed the 75 hard program not too long ago,

And I found a sense of accomplishment.

Now I'm kind of like coming out of it and still like working my way through it because it was challenging,

But I was like,

I felt like there could have been more.

So I'm still processing kind of just going on that journey.

But like,

I did that.

I did do that.

You know,

It's amazing.

And just being really proud of yourself.

It's like,

I don't need anybody outside of me to acknowledge the work that I'm doing and saying that I'm doing a good job.

And guess what?

When you do that,

People will acknowledge you and tell you you're doing a good job.

It's really,

Really amazing.

And Rick,

Thank you so much.

I'm so glad you'll be back.

So if you're not in our group,

Manifest Your Life,

Go pop in our group and join.

And then also follow me on Insight Timers.

You get all the notifications of when I'll be going live and when new tracks are uploaded,

Things like that.

You just left a full time job.

It is super scary.

I'm not going to lie to you.

It's been the biggest personal.

So that was 2018.

My world is completely different than it was when I first left.

What I thought leaving work was going to look like it is not going in that direction.

But I quit and I was like,

I don't know what I'm going to be doing.

But I never regretted the decision of what I did.

Sometimes I go back and go,

Maybe I could have done it differently.

And I'm like,

Oh,

That's exactly how it was supposed to happen for me,

Because that is the exact experience I was supposed to go through.

And all of the lessons that have kind of come through that.

It's been four years now,

Coming up on four years,

Which is crazy.

I'm just such a completely different person.

I want to go back to what Patty talked about in pulling retirement closer to her.

So she talked about how she's doing things like not quite retired yet,

But I'm doing the things I need to do in order to get closer so that I'm more prepared.

And as you do these things,

Whether you're looking closer to retirement or you quit a job,

Just just do something that makes it feel like,

Oh,

This is exciting.

Those really cool.

Like,

Oh,

My God,

I met with this person and they told me this.

And maybe it is reading a book,

Taking like an online course or class or listening to a teacher that's talking about listening to a YouTube video or a TED talk on the topic of what you're going to be doing.

And what you're doing is you're flooding yourself with knowledge.

You're getting yourself excited.

You're getting yourself in alignment.

And you're like,

Oh,

When I when the time is right,

I'm going to be like a thousand percent ready for this.

And I'm going to knock this out of the park and it's going to be amazing.

And it's going to be exactly right.

I'm going to have all this knowledge in me for when that time is right for that decision.

So it's like you're kind of preparing yourself.

It's just like this anticipation of,

I know it's coming.

I don't know how.

That's the fun part of manifestation.

I don't know how it's going to show up.

I don't know when it's going to show up.

But my job is to sit here and prepare myself and to feel good about this journey that I'm on.

And then it'll show up.

That's how it'll happen.

It always shows up at the least likely time.

Nine months takes time,

But also dream your retirement into reality.

Absolutely.

And who knows what could happen in nine months?

It might happen sooner than that,

Patty.

You have no idea.

And when it does happen,

It'll be the perfect timing.

Yeah.

Awesome.

Oh,

My gosh.

We've been on here for almost 40 minutes.

Do you guys have more questions or more thoughts?

Is there,

What is something that you are focusing on bringing into your life right now?

I didn't use the board at all.

I've just been up here chatting,

Which is really fun.

I could do this.

This brings me joy.

In case you guys wanted to know.

So much joy.

Oh,

Look at that.

You're going to end on 11.

11.

Awesome.

Love it.

Love it.

I'm actually going to stop the Zoom recording,

But I'm going to hang around.

I've got about another 20 minutes to hang out.

So this has been an awesome,

Awesome Q&A conversation.
