So,

Welcome to this meditation for cultivating a positive mindset.

Many associate meditation with relaxation and stress relief,

Which is absolutely true.

But we can cultivate so much more.

It offers us an opportunity to tune into our being,

To connect more deeply than just our thoughts,

To move beyond those thoughts and create something truly magical for all of us.

So let's begin this journey to cultivate positivity,

Inspiration for yourself.

So find yourself somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down and if it's possible to maintain a straight spine,

Legs straight or uncrossed,

Arms resting on your laps or on the sides.

Being fully supported,

Feeling strong,

Aware and conscious,

Allowing the eyes to gently close,

Connecting with the breath,

The life force energy that travels in through the nose,

Feeling your chest and body as you inhale and as you exhale,

Releasing anything that no longer serves you.

With each breath,

Feeling a sense of being alive,

Vibrant,

Alert,

Dignified.

Use the breath as a tool to fill you with energy,

To fill you with life.

With every breath,

Feel each cell vibrate in your body,

Ready to receive exactly what you need right now.

I want you to begin to visualize this breath,

To see this breath travel in as a vibrant light that travels in through the nose and down the throat,

Into the chest,

The ribs,

Down through your stomach,

The pelvis,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your shins and your feet.

So this light travels through the breath all over your body.

Allow this light,

Your breath,

To begin to raise your vibration.

So there is a gentle shift to allow you to make a change to your state,

For you to feel stronger,

More confident and with clarity.

Feeling this life force energy build within your body with each and every breath.

Now find your stillness here.

Find the place of center or an anchor where you can always come back to in this practice.

This could be this moment,

This place,

This feeling,

This thought,

This emotion,

All of which is here right now and you are in the midst of it,

Finding your stillness.

If your mind has wandered off into thoughts about the past,

Future,

Just noticing where it is and simply bringing it back to this moment,

This moment of practice,

This breath,

This place.

You're bringing your awareness to your thoughts and noticing what comes up.

Noticing if these thoughts are serving you well.

Are they supporting you or are they holding you back?

Thinking about how you are feeling emotionally.

Are there areas that you are numbing,

Stifling or preventing yourself from experiencing?

Because this can prevent you from leading and being your most vibrant,

Wise and positive self.

Bringing one of those thoughts or emotions that you are holding back to your mind.

These emotions that are holding you back to your mind and just breathe into this space.

Acknowledging that emotion for what it is,

Just an emotion.

Completely accepting this emotion is here.

Saying,

I see you,

I hear you,

I feel you.

Allowing ourselves to experience.

This emotion does not make us weak.

It makes us strong and it helps us move forward with our lives in a positive,

Confident and empowered way.

Now that you have witnessed and acknowledged this emotion,

Ask what you can learn from this experience.

What is this thought or emotion trying to teach me?

If at all,

Anything.

Practicing being in control and aware of your thoughts is powerful.

When we allow these emotions to be seen and witnessed,

We remove their power.

We create space for growth and positivity,

Joy and abundance and confidence and awe.

We allow ourselves to create a mindset that supports our journey.

I invite you to think about the things that ignite you.

Set things in motion that you may be passionate about.

The things that inspire you.

The things that bring joy and awe to you.

Things that energize,

Encourage and delight.

Because you deserve joy in your life.

Because you deserve a life to live that is positive.

And how do we do that?

Welcome to our practice.

First,

In our mind,

We create an image.

We connect with the visualization.

And we tap into the emotion,

The joy,

The passion.

We try to surround ourselves with beauty,

With people who light us up.

People who energize.

We connect with the vibration,

The vibration that we wish to live our life at.

We create an environment that supports our higher self.

We create an environment that supports us,

Body,

Mind and spirit.

We make loving and nourishing choices.

We create daily habits and rituals that allow us to step fully into a vibration of gratitude,

Acceptance,

Loving kindness and compassion for self and all.

A frequency of love and energy where we feel motivated and positive.

So let's begin.

Again,

Breathe in that vibrant light from the start of our practice.

Let these words sink in as this light nourishes your body,

Mind and spirit.

You are incredible and you are capable of more than you can ever imagine.

Use that breath.

Fill your body with energy and light.

Bringing to awareness the mindset of openness,

Of opportunity,

Of seeking solutions,

Not problems.

Focusing on strengths,

Of celebrating our successes and learning and loving failures.

Learning from and loving from our failures.

Because we create our mindset,

It is not fixed.

Just like we tell a story about our past or the future,

We can create a narrative or a story about every single moment that is positive in nature,

That supports us.

Now I would like to invite you to take a moment here in this thought experiment to visualize yourself free from all the negativity,

Free from restraint.

Just feel what that feels like.

What if all the restraints and limiting beliefs are taken away from you?

You don't get to keep them.

See what comes up.

Maybe you start to feel more energized,

Maybe you start to feel more excited,

Maybe you start to feel openness.

That's all normal.

The more we show this aspect of ourselves,

The vibrant light,

The more it comes out and plays.

Imagine what you can achieve now that you are no longer bound by these limiting beliefs or a fixed mindset.

Begin to visualize yourself in the most motivated positive vibration.

See how you look,

See how you feel.

What actions are you taking and what does this most motivated positive mindset create for you?

How different will your life be when you embrace this level of positivity?

Because our minds are like magnets.

We attract what we put out.

And just take a moment in this space here.

Just pause.

Imagining all your limiting beliefs has vanished.

It's littlest.

But your mind starts to play tricks on you.

They will start to create narratives that says that can never happen.

This is all woo woo.

And yet we create these narratives.

No one came into this world thinking,

Oh I cannot walk,

I cannot speak.

And yet the babies,

Most babies,

Most young ones find a way.

So the true nature within us is limitless.

And embrace this idea,

This notion.

Yes,

There are things we can change.

Yes,

There are things we can practice.

We can get better.

But the mindset of abundance and positivity can do wonders for you.

And appreciating and accepting this fact about you.

So I invite you to now repeat these affirmations silently or out loud.

To create your most significant,

Magnificent,

Positive mindset.

I invite you to maybe even consider changing posture,

Which brings an authenticity,

An energy.

So if you feel like standing,

Please do stand.

If you feel like standing in front of a mirror and repeating these affirmations,

Please do so.

Whatever makes things work.

Maybe there is a limiting belief there.

Oh,

This is not good for me.

Or I cannot do this.

All of that is welcome.

But you still have created this positive mindset.

So you can approach this practice however you wish.

Repeating silently or out loud.

I release doubt and focus on my positivity.

I am creating the life I desire.

I choose to be happy.

My possibilities and opportunities are endless.

My life is full of abundance and happiness.

I approach my day with passion and purpose.

My potential to succeed is infinite.

I can do this.

I am a magnet for positivity and my mind is full of positive thoughts.

I radiate love and joy.

I will repeat these phrases once more and this time really feel each phrase.

As it is being imprinted into your psyche.

Really feel it within you.

Really feel it within you.

Really feel these words to be true.

There is one way to overcome these limiting negative thoughts we have.

Is to really truly believe in yourself.

So here we go again.

I release doubt and focus on positivity.

I am creating the life I desire.

I choose to be happy.

My possibilities and opportunities are endless.

My life is full of abundance and happiness.

I approach my day with passion and purpose.

My potential to succeed is infinite.

I can do this.

I am a magnet for positivity and my mind is full of positive thoughts.

I radiate love and joy.

You are incredible.

You are one of a kind.

Again,

Breathing deeply,

Visualize yourself and notice how you feel right now.

Notice the shift when you change your thoughts.

You change your life.

Knowing that positivity is available for you to practice with.

So today look for the positive.

Look for those people who are helping and lighting up your life.

Look at nature.

Art or books,

Tap into things that inspire and move you.

Because when we are connected to what we love,

We can't help but be motivated.

Motivation is not something you get from books.

Motivation is not something you need to do anything.

It comes as a result.

You don't need motivation to be able to do something which you truly love.

When you do something you love,

You become motivated.

We create our own motivation.

So be a generator.

I invite you to start to deepen your breath.

With each exhale you are letting go of the parts of you that no longer serve you in terms of your mindset.

So letting go of that limiting thought.

Letting go of the stale aspects of your mindset.

The old and archaic mindset which no longer serves you.

But there is truly value in some of the old.

So keeping that.

Breathing deep.

With the in-breath.

And with the out-breath.

Letting go with a sigh.

And with this next breath,

Draw in that light and strength.

Hold that breath for a moment.

Exhale through your nose.

Allow the energy,

The light to settle within your body.

To provide you with the positivity,

Strength and inspiration you need.

Again.

Breathe in.

Pause and allow the breath to have fluidity.

Throughout the body.

Before releasing.

We are now going to slowly come back.

Allow yourself the opportunity to feel more alert.

I invite you to bring a smile.

As you breathe.

As you become more aware of the weight of your body.

Right here,

Feeling calm,

Relaxed and alert.

Ready to make changes.

Ready to move positively in the direction in which your life needs to go.

Enjoying the journey.

Smile that you have this opportunity to create,

To succeed,

To have fun.

Smile as you wiggle your toes and fingers.

Smile that you have this gift of a day to embrace.

When you feel ready.

If your eyes are closed,

Opening your eyes.

Stretch,

Move and get ready to make the choices that support you.

Go ride that positive vibe today.

You will be surprised how much it rubs off on people around you.
