This is a simple meditation that brings your awareness to the present using physical sensations, senses, and breath. Some small insights are shared and there is room for breathing in the silence. It's part of my own journey to becoming better as a guide as well.

So let us sit here and breathe.

Let us become aware of all that is going on right now.

And it might be easiest to start with physical sensations.

So whatever posture you're in,

You're probably gonna feel your legs,

Perhaps discomfort in your legs,

Perhaps a general sense that's going all through your body,

Perhaps some heaviness in the head,

Perhaps some restlessness in the fingers.

And whatever you're feeling,

Try to be with it.

Let's be with the physical sensations in this moment and see how much power we can allow it to have.

Is it maybe okay if you can let yourself be ruled by your physical sensations right now?

Maybe it doesn't come immediately,

But as you allow and accept and trust your sensations,

There might be perhaps some new state of consciousness to discover.

Your body is constantly talking to you,

And it's also an opportunity to be a part of it.

And it's also not just the physical sensations that are talking.

Your senses play a big part in the communication process too.

Sounds are entering your ears 24-7,

And even with closed eyes,

The darkness still leaves its imprint.

Touch and a sensation can be felt,

Depending on the environment,

Smell and perhaps even taste.

Oh,

And hey,

There's also thoughts.

So along with these millions and truly infinite mass of sensations there are thoughts as well.

So how do we recollect ourselves?

How do we keep ourselves steady in this flow,

This infinite flow of sensation?

It might be very hard to control it.

Another option we have is to accept.

It's to flow.

And the way that we get better at this is by allowing ourselves to breathe.

Allow the breath to flow in,

In whatever way the breath wants to flow in right now.

Allow the breath to flow out,

In whatever way the breath wants to flow out right now.

Maybe those are long inhales and exhales.

Maybe they are short and jittery.

It doesn't matter.

Allow yourself to breathe.

Find yourself once again in the sea of sensations.

This time rowing,

Rowing with the breath.

And see if you can more and more let the breath row you.

Recollecting yourself towards the breath.

Keep on breathing in and breathing out.

No effort.

You are still you are still breathing.

And as we get closer to the end of this guided practice,

Allow yourself to slowly let go of the practice.

Let go of your breath and know that the breath will be always there for you.

You can return to the breath whenever you want to.

Thank you so much for practicing.

Thank yourself a lot for practicing.

Namaste.
