This meditation is designed to help you cope during a flight when anxiety overwhelms you. Through guided breathing techniques and affirmations, this meditation brings you to a place of comfort that you can come back to at any time, before, during and after the flight. This meditation has been structured so that postive and anxiety free awareness is downloaded during the meditation to help with memory perception for future flights and reduce in-flight anxiety.

Transcript

Let's take three deep breaths.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in deep,

Breathing out slow,

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly.

And as you sit in your seat on the aeroplane with your experience,

The feeling of flying,

At the same time,

Experience your breath.

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly.

Time with tranquility and peace means focusing on something that's going to bring you tranquility and peace.

That something is your breath.

Focus on your breath.

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly.

And even though you can feel the motion of the aeroplane or the noises around you,

The people around you,

Just focus on your breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And when your thoughts begin to wander or you start feeling some tension inside of you,

Guide your breath back,

Guide your thoughts back,

Gently breathing,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Don't allow the thoughts to be bigger than your breath.

Focus on your breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in deeply,

Breathing out slowly.

Be with your breath and allow your breath to ground you,

Not to the earth,

But this time,

To get in touch and connect with you and the peace that always resides within you.

Always comforting you,

Always there for you,

Always present,

Deep within you.

Breathing in slowly,

Breathing in deeply,

Grounding and connecting to that tranquility and peace that resides within,

Always there,

Always present,

Always waiting to embrace you,

Always.

Just breathing,

Knowing that you're surrounded by a community of people all going to the same place,

The same goal,

Talking,

Laughing,

Being,

Excitement,

You're amongst them,

They're with you,

All a community,

There for each other,

In one place,

Being.

And you can listen to this throughout the flight,

Or perhaps when you feel anxious,

Just coming back and connecting to the peace inside of you,

Knowing that peace and tranquility live within you,

Waiting for you,

Cherishing you,

Welcoming you,
